I bought this shoe at a local shoe store. Had never heard of the name, but they looked comfy. I have HORRIBLE problems with foot pain, mainly from plantar fasciitis. I've always been told that I need arch supports, etc. Well after doing a LOT Of research, I've found that shoes mess our feet up. Walking barefoot helps to strengthen our feet, plus being grounded is very beneficial for our body. I recently started walking barefoot in my yard daily. When I discovered these shoes, they felt like I was barefoot. I have ZERO problems wearing them...NO PAIN in my feet, NONE in my back!!!! They are light & seem to mold to your foot. I plan to buy more colors & hope they make some new designs. I'm even tempted to wear them to church!!!! This shoe is by far, the BEST I have ever worn.

I had originally seen this shoe advertised on another website, but Amazon had a better price. After reading the reviews, I was slightly hesitant, but now I am thrilled that I got this shoe. I frequently wear this shoe to walk to and from work each day and it is very comfortable. I recently wore it while at the beach and it was great while walking the boardwalk and also in the sand. I love that it doesnt have laces and the elastic allows the shoe to confirm to different sizes of your foot. Highly recommend!

This shoe is very comfortable and fits TRUE TO SIZE. Do not make the mistake of ordering up a 1/2 size like I did, especially if you plan to wear them barefoot. I do not plan to run in these shoes and will use them to run errands and for everyday wear. If you have a narrow foot, these may be loose on you. I normally wear a 7.5 in regular shoes but an 8 in running shoes. I ordered an 8, based on reviews I read. They are too wide, loose and long on me.

I'm a Disneyland freak with an annual passport, and after several trips to the park without the right shoes, I decided to invest in something worthwhile. I was just so darned tired of barely being able to walk by the end of day 2 in Disneyland (I always go for multiple days) because of my aching feet. I'd also had problems with shin splints and back pain due to bad shoes. Since I'm overweight--just want to give you the real deal here--I really needed major support. I was also concerned with preventing heat rash on my calves so I needed a pair of shoes that would breathe well.

Decided to give these a while based on the reviews here on amazon and having good luck with another pair of Ryka's in the past (trainers for the Susan G Komen 3-Day). SO GLAD I DID. They're BY FAR the best walking shoes I've ever owned. My feet DID NOT ache at all by the end of 3 days at Disneyland, nor did I have the usual back pain, shin pain, or heat rash. PERFECT!

They feel like walking on air, I will definitely be buying a second pair to have on hand, and that's not something I say lightly because I don't usually spend much on shoes. I agree with the past reviews that your foot sort of feels like it's "in shrink wrap," so be advised that these shoes fit snugly, but they're meant to as they don't have any tightenable laces just elastic straps that stretch when you slip your foot in. Don't expect to wear thick socks with these, it won't work. I normally wear a size 9 or 9.5, I ordered a 9 and they were perfect.

If I had to say one criticism about these, it's that they don't dry quickly. I wore them on a water ride at Disneyland and they were wet for almost the whole rest of the day. Also, if you're wearing them on a Disney type excursion, bring some thin socks so your feet don't start to callus. Otherwise, I only have great things to say!
