great shoe! comfy for long walks/hikes even in the rain. lived in rainy Sitka, Alaska for 3 years and Salomon GTX shoes fit my lifestyle perfectly! Now live in FL and can't get enough of these shoes! Have owned 4 pairs now and plan to own many more!
