I like these shoes. They have a snug fit around the whole foot. These are my second pair of this shoe. My first pair have about 400 miles on them and held up well.

I thought I reviewed these already so if not, here it goes.

I love these shoes. The have proven to be the cure for knee issues that I have been having for years with other shoes. I got back into running recently and immediately had knee problems. After researching minimalism I decided to use these shoes as a test. Man am I ever glad I did. The pain in my knees has dropped dramatically and I can concentrate of covering more miles without worring so much about whether I am injuring myself.

Think about a whole size up of what you use. Seems a bit unstable laterally and the lip of the shoe is short enough to dig into my foot. Price OK but now must also eat sending them back, registered as they recommend for a refund/replacement. Brooks really needs to have an arrangement with a carrier to subsidize the price of returns for customers. Any other shoe company, I can return without paying full UPS/USPS/Fedex cost. If paying $20(shipping to you, return with registration) to try on a shoe is OK with you, Brooks offers that with their store. Also, this shoe is so small and narrow, Brooks really needs to either mention it in their description or maybe even just have their manufacturer label them more accurately. I'm left with a less than ideal experience here.

I normally wear light trainers but these suckers are lighter than some I have worn just for 5Ks. I don't think I would plan on wearing for longer than a 10K and I would recommend for softer running services. They look funky on the feet with the little split big toe and they wear small for me. I use shoe stretchers between runs and definitely think they need that. All of my other running shoes are size 10 but if I were to purchase again I would purchase a 10.5. Not sure yet of their durability but these were closeout specials so I'm not really worried about that.
