Its so hard to find good shoes that last for our active 7 year old daughter, and in a color that wont offend her boyish tastes and/or show dirt. These were a good buy. Still look great a month and a half later (like the day they arrived).

These shoes were purchased 3 months ago and get walked in an average of 45 minutes a day, 4 times a week. The type of terrain I take them on is paved sidewalks, relatively flat surfaces throughout the walks. I've noticed that on one of the shoes, the sole is wearing out unevenly on the side of the heel. Different people place different pressures on various parts of their feet/soles while walking/running, I understand that, but I have shoes that have been worn for over a year for more than 45 minutes/day, 4 times a week that never had this problem.

The tops of these shoes still look new and still feel slightly rigid like how they did straight out of the box 3 months ago. I only noticed the uneven wearing of the sole today so I think they started wearing out a month or so into wearing them. Although the shoe is very comfortable it's made with poor quality material for the shoe bottom. I need to look for a new pair of hiking shoes again.
