I am very sad to report that even though I had this (seemingly popularly reviewed) shoe fitted at a store by a professional, I could see the area above my big toe wore out within 2 weeks. Now I know what you are thinking... surely this guy needs to learn what nail clippers are for. I can assume you I am a dedicated nail trimmer that likes to keep the nails on his toes right down with no sharp edges.
My advise try a different shoe or get a written guarantee from the store/seller about refunds from poor products. I wish I had

This is my fourth pair of Sauconys, as they were recommended by my doctor. I had my first pair until recently. They had been demoted to lawn mowing shoes, as the cushioning was gone (as will happen to any running shoe, with the pounding that they take.) I eventually threw them out as they became, well, disgusting, but to the end, the heel cup was as firm as the day of purchase. I have noticed that in each successive pair that I've owned, the heel cups lose their shape more quickly. Even better (he says with some sarcasm) I have only worn my curent pair 15-20 times, and I can see my sock through the toe of the right shoe. A little quicker (a lot quicker) than my previous pairs. I have contacted customer service, but the store at which I purchased them has given my little hope.."tha usually happens within three months"..at this price...really?As I said, my fourth pair, and sadly, probably my last....comfort that doesn't hold up.
