My thoughts on these are:
Very slipper like as far as uppers & ease of putting on/taking off.
Non marking soles with flexibility.
I'm not crazy about the rubber "pod" pads on the bottom because I think they make it feel like you are constantly walking on rocks. Who likes that? I understand for durability & traction, they did this, but they just feel odd since these are a barefoot shoe(and thus, you feel everything!).
I also feel lots of seams in these as opposed to my others. I notice that in the others, they are lined until you reach the forefoot area, in these, they aren't. This may be why. These also don't have a removable insole, so you feel the seams on the footbed. My Bikilas also don't have a removable insole, but the insole is wider, so the seams aren't under your feet like these are.
Size wise, they recommend to one size up from your usual VFF size. I second that. In my others, I am a 41 but in these I needed a 42. Otherwise, the curvature of the sole makes your toes feel too squished into an upward curve.
I bought these to wear around my house as slippers, but for comfort these are my least favorite out of the ones I bought. I feel too much "stuff" related to the shoe design than I would like. When you barefoot/minimalist, the focus is on the feet & the earth beneath you, your stride & strike. Not seams & rubber pods.
I give them 3 stars because I still think they are decent shoes with some real world uses. But they could be better. In many ways.

This is my second pair of Vibrams, I already own the Bikila LS. I absolutely loved them both. The Jaya's are very soft and flexible but not as flexible as the classic. The soles give you great ground feedback but they have a better grip than the classics. I love these for everyday use and water sports, they are extremely comfortable. I prefer the Bikila's LS for running the have a little more cushion at the ball of the foot and more comfort padding internally. The Jaya's run a size smaller than the Bikila's. So for me that meant a size 40 for the Jaya's were my Bikila's are 39. The Jaya's have a looser fit than the Bikila's making them a perfect pair of shoes for walking about. The barefoot effect is amazing! I highly recommend them.
