I'm 42 years old and bought them on sale at ROSS of all places, they are in my opinion very comfortable, stylish and have a COOL vibe to them. They are easy to put on an off with the velcro closure on the side. My 8 year old said today that I look like a teenager in them, that's not the look what I was going for but OK. They are hybrid sneaker-boot combination. They look like a sneaker if you have a long pant leg/jean over them, and then they look stylish if you wear them with a legging, or slim fit jean tucked inside the boots.

I bought these for my almost 17 year old daughter who wears converse sneakers almost every day. My fingers are crossed that she'll think they're as cool as I do. I tried them on and found them to be very comfortable. They appear to be pretty well made.
