Did a lot of research before deciding on this pair. Must say that I am very happy that I purchased the X-alp which gives me the ability to walk around at the gym comfortably( and quietly) even while wearing cleats. It has made my spinning classes more enjoyable. Does not hurt also that it is totally cute! I really Love Love Love this product. If possible I would have given it a 10.
The only issue that I had was the size. I wear a 71/2 wide and eventually had to get the size 40. Found out my true size by going to the Pearl Izumi web site. Originally ordered the 39 which I had to exchange . Of course it was not a problem with the excellent Amazon customer service.

I love everything about these shoes. I've had them for about 6 months, and I wear them to RPM cycle class 3-4 times a week. No wear and tear visible to date, so I expect they will last for years. They are very easy to put on/take off and the clip is a great way to tighten them. They look cool, too! I followed another reviewer's advice and went to the Pearl iZUMi website and looked up the sizes there. I wear a 7 1/2 and I bought a 29 which is probably closer to a size 7. I would buy these again in a heartbeat.

I went to a bike store to try on the X-Alp Enduro III (note the III, not II) and found them to be incredibly comfortable and a perfect fit. However, the Enduro III's were pricey at $120. I found these online for $40 cheaper and bought a size 36, the exact same size I tried on in the store. When they arrived, I was so bummed. The Enduro II size 36 were so small I couldn't even fit my foot in them. I'm sending them back and buying the more expensive shoes since I know they will fit. Just for reference, I wear a size 6 in US sizes. However, these were great looking shoes and I love the Velcro for a more snug fit. I just don't have the patience to keep sending these back and forth to find a pair that fits.

I've had these for over two years and do a lot of mtn biking in them. I love them they are wide, and I love the adjustable straps with no laces! they are durable and also very walkable when you need to get off the bike and hike :) they are not true to usual sizing. I normally am 38-38.5 and have a size 40 which is actually too short so I have just ordered the size 41 so my toes won't hurt at the end of the day. Still I give them a 5 based on many pairs previous to these
