I was encouraged to buy this shoe by the description of how the sole works with platform bicycle pedals as well as my experience with the Teva brand. On the visual appeal side, I like the retro tennis shoe look. I was a little hesitant on deciding what size to purchase based on other reviews. I went ahead and ordered my usual size 13 and they fit well, not too big and not too small.

I use these shoes every day for my hour-long fitness ride and have done so for the past month. The do a good job of staying on the pedal without slippage and are lightweight and apparently breathable. I'm not sure that I would buy these shoes at full retail price, but the sale price at purchase was incentive enough to give these shoes a try and I'm glad that I did.

These shoes are a great fit and are very comfy. They are great for walking in all day, no heel pain or any achey feet.

Great shoe, I like Simple sneakers but I think they went out of business or bought out. This is a great substitute, very comfortable especially when walking all day. I would recommend this shoe to everyone I know. Great color and design I own 2 now, and who's knows I might make it 3!

So the shoe looks to be everything that it is, a nice casual sneaker. Nice material rubber and "mesh". I got the grey ones with the orange sole and they look great. All for a great price.

That said here are a few things to consider; as reported by other product reviewers, the shoe runs big. I wear a 10 typically and have a wide foot (EE). I instantly wore the size 10s out when they were delivered and they feel too big, however, having worn them I am not going to return them and try out the 9.5s. The shoe width is only offered in D as far as I can see on Amazon. It fits as you would expect for anyone with a wider foot, tight on either side. The first day of wearing they rubbed off some coloring on my white socks. Spent most of the day on my feet and these do not offer much comfort or support. Hard soles.

I'm still happy with the shoes. Again, they look great. Wish I had read about the shoes being big before I rushed to wear them out.

I always checkout the Amazon reviews before I make a purchase. It was my first time to buy shoes on-line. Depending on the fit, I usually wear a 10 or 10.5. In this case, after reading one of the reviews which basically said that the shoes fit on the large size, I bought toward the smaller length. I think I will keep them but I'm not very impressed with the fit. They aren't very comfortable length wise and they make dents if I lace them too tightly.

I do like the color and style of the shoe and the price, on sale, was great.
