I am editing my previous review after wearing these shoes for a little less than a week now. I had to go back to my Nike fusions bc I was having terrible pain in my ankle during walking/jogging and it continued after walking and during the day. I wear heels for work and I have never had feet or ankle problems but I am having a hard time walking without pain. I switched back to my Nikes in the middle of a walk last night and the pain instantly dulled. I will wear them out and about bc they are cute but not for exercise purposes. I haved removed 2 stars.

I ordered these to replace my old, off-brand sneakers that I wear while working in preschool. I spend most of the day on my feet, running after kids, etc, so I thought some quality shoes with a memory foam insert might be just the thing to make my feet and back feel a little better at the end of the day.Overall, I like the shoes. They fit exactly right, and they're comfortable. I think they look stylish, and they definitely look more presentable than my old white sneakers with the scuffs and stains! I feel like they're a little less "obviously casual" with jeans than my other sneakers, too, which is helpful because I like to maintain a professional appearance, even though reality dictates I can't wear more dressy shoes to school. (Have you ever tried chasing a dozen students on a playground in office-style flats? Forget it!)
I was disappointed with the memory foam insert. It's very tall and cushy in the middle, but the padding doesn't really extend to the edges of the shoe, so I have a sense that I've got something in my shoe (that doesn't belong there--like when a thin sock gets bunched up in the toe of your shoe and you don't find it until after you put the shoe on?...but this is right under the middle of the foot, which is a little off-putting at first). After walking around for twenty minutes or so, the cushion relaxes under the weight of your foot a bit, and it provides a nice little extra cushion to each step. I wish it was more evenly distributed throughout the underside of my foot, though, because, while not uncomfortable, I can't shake the feeling that I'm standing on something a little off-center.
My other complaint about the memory foam insert is that it is nice and cushy when you first put on the shoes, but it collapses SO much through wearing that, by the end of the day, I feel like I'm back in my old sneakers again. It's not uncomfortable... but it doesn't feel like it was worth spending $20 more than the old shoes cost.
I like the shoes. They are comfortable, they look great, and I'm happy to have them. I just wish I hadn't been so seduced by the thought of a memory foam foot saviour that I shelled out the money for a brand name shoe before doing some online research and reading reviews.
