I bought these shoes last year and right away I felt that they would just be an "ok" shoe. They are very durable and stylish. I walk a bit NYC and Westchester county. None of the stitching has become loose and the sole is sturdy. Comfort is an issue. The tongue of the shoe bite into my feet. After a couple of hours of light walking, I can't wait to take them off. I thought that after a couple of months the shoe would conform to my foot much like my other sneakers. Nope.
Lately, after I have taken them off, I massage the grooves that the tongue of the shoe has carved into the top of my feet to ease the pain. I have found one solution lightly tie the shoe. I suggest wearing these shoes no more than two days in a row.I was schocked to find such a good pair of Columbia shoes for so cheap. They are perfect for me for work and I was hoping to get a good deal.
