No cushioning for short distance running. Also fits very narrow. At least it looks good but. I never expected this from reebok. Now I use this shoe for casual wear only.

I run with Glide 5 for two marathon races, and I think it is the time to let it to retire. It perform perfectly between 50 mile and 250 mile, but after that, the cushion in the fore feet area is down, which hurts my feet. I use it until 300 mile, then switch to other new shoes and let it be my walking shoes. Another reason that I like it because it is quite wide. Btw, I run 20-30 miles per week.

My son was so excited to get a pair of New Balance with the "z" type strap. He loved them so much, that despite the fact that he could barely get them on, he tried to talk me into letting him keep them. I was very disappointed that the measuring and sizing chart provided by amazon did not work for us. According to the chart he was a size 6, so I ordered him a size 7 so they would fit for a few months before his next growth spurt. When they came, he was just barely able to get his whole foot in. He's really not old enough for the styles, but sadly I have had to go up to men's sizes, because apparently his feet are just too big for even "big kids" shoes.Despite the problems, I gave these a 4 because they really are very fun looking and well made. I love love love these little t-straps for my son! I wanted his toes to be fully covered without rocks getting into side cutouts, but still wanted them to be breathable for warm days. Best ECCO Men's Yucatan Sandal Deals
I have plantar fasciitis which means that walking creates heel pain unless I use my orthopedic inserts. Orthopedic inserts and sandals are not an attractive combination so I sought out sandals that were built to accommodate "problem feet". I have several pairs of ECCO shoes that were recommended by a podiatrist and they work exceptionally well. Extending this train of thought, I went and purchased these ECCO sandals to see if I could obtain good results. Having worn them daily for a few weeks I find that they work great without the orthopedic inserts and I don't have any heel pain. They are more expensive than other brands but they are worth it in my opinion. Nice styling, superb build quality and great comfort pretty much sums up my experience with these sandals.
Let me tell you, they are worth every penny. The arch support is amazing. The material used to make the treads doesn't slip, even on my back porch after it rains. The leather straps are first rate. My feet don't hurt, even after walking a mile on my neighborhood streets.
I may ultimately go back to my hippy-style, slip on Birks, but for now, I love my ECCOs

ECCO needs to really do some value reengineering on these. It can be done. I have a pair of Montrail light hikers and they have lasted for over 15 years or heavy use and are just starting to show their age. KEENS, although not as comfortable, wear very well. Just such a disappointment with these ECCOS I really feel like Charlie Brown and the football after three successive years of failure with these sandals. Can't say I didn't give them a huge chance.

I bought some El-cheapo sandals at a chain shoe store, and after wearing them for just a couple of days, my feet were killing me. I have a slight issue with a piece of material poking my left pinky toe, but I think that's because my left foot is slightly bigger than the right. This shoe is like walking on air. It is very comfortable and gives you a cushion type but sturdy support. My husband loves them for walking any kind of distances. They ran a little small so I recommend ordering at least a half size larger than normal.

I have been running in Mizuno shoes (road training & flats) for about 15yrs and needed a pair of trail running shoes and tried the Wave Ascend 7s. I really felt like they gripped the trail, I never felt like I slipped or lost my footing. I've always been very happy with the fit/feel of my road Mizunos and these are no different.

Easy five stars here. I broke these in on six miles of muddy trail straight out of the box and I couldn't be happier. I wear a 10 1/2 D and have neutral pronation. I ordered these in 10 1/2 and they fit perfectly. I really like that there is plenty of room in the toe box but the sole is still firm. The traction on these is great and really stick to the trail. The shoes also feel really light as far as weight goes. On paved ground, you can feel that you are running on thicker tread, but it is still a smooth ride on pavement while trying to get to the trail. I think the color does look good on these. The last 2 pairs of trail shoes i tried were Pearl Izumi and these Mizuno shoes are much better, a nicer fit, and much more comfortable. I have owned several pairs of the Mizuno 9 Spike low top metal spikes over the years, so I thought it would actually be safe to order a new pair on line since I have been unable to find them in stores. Well, much to my dismay the 9.5 size that I have always bought and were wearing at the time was way too small when it arrived. Not even safe to purchase shoes on-line when it is the same model worn for years. Minor tweaks in the design which all would've been fine, except the sizing has clearly changed drastically. For those that have worn these in the past, you probably need to go up a full size for them to fit properly.

A previous review had noted that the sizes as listed were no longer correct and were off one size in the too small direction. Unfortunately I didn't rely on this and ordered shoes to fit anyway. They were a size too small. Since I my choice on the return ticket was "wrong size" it was considered my error and I had to pay return shipping when I fact I ordered the correct size but the shoes were not the size marked. Ok before you think I'm completely off my rocker let me say this is a terrific shoe and is one of the most comfortable shoe I have had to wear. I don't run unless I'm escaping from somewhere or being chased so I use it for work (I'm a nurse) where I am on my feet all day. I have arthritis in my knees and need shoes that don't make my life totally ,miserable. These are very comfortable and really good to wear. I read the reviews and one said they " run big in size" well I ordered my size 10 1/2 and found it was small for my feet. Had to send them back because I had to put arch supports in and if they're already a bit small this didn't bode well. I normally need a 6.5 wide. I ordered these shoes in a 6.5 wide only to discover that they do not come in special widths one width only! I decided to try them anyway they felt very snug when I tried them on at first, even with bare feet. Once I got running I was very impressed! The flexible shoe upper is perfect (once I got going I realized wide would have been too large). A few blisters formed while breaking them in, but now they work great for medium to long distance jogging. Afterward I remove the insoles for faster drying time.
When I first tried them on I could feel the insole rubbing against the arch of my foot and I thought, "That's a blister waiting to happen." So I proceeded to get these ready for a return to Amazon. I never actually sent them back due to my own laziness. So I thought I'd give them a try on my most recent vacation. After all, I'd spent a pretty penny on them!
For whatever reason I cannot tell you, these have never rubbed my arch or any other part of my feet since the initial tryout. I wear them all the time for anything up to 3 miles walking, jogging, running through airports, sailing, etc. They've become my favorite summer shoes.
The reason I gave them four rather than five stars is that they don't breath as well as I'd like a slip-on shoe to breath. Other than that they're great little Zoots!
NOTE: I tend to have bigger feet than most. Like a C/D width in some brands. I thought it might be too challenging to get my feet into them. Not so. These are a snug fit but not uncomfortably so. I don't need the lacing that is on the shoe by any means, but I can see how the laces would offer a more snug fit for someone with less bulky feet. Also, they're true to size. I typically wear a 9.5 shoe sometimes I go to a 10 in running shoes. I bought these in 9.5 and they're perfect.

So I decided to get the zoot Ultra kapalani2.0 and have no issue running at all.
