I wore these shoes almost daily for little over a year, logged about 1-2 hours a day in them, and still only replaced them in the end because they started to take on a bit too much "gym funk" and the heel support was beginning to go. I originally purchased these shoes after reading extensive reviews for a good all-purpose trail shoe. I try to run on grass and dirt as much as possible, but often I find myself on cement or ice/snow. These shoes are not slip-proof, but I felt fairly confident in my winter run while wearing these. The salt didn't destroy the soles, and the mesh actually stayed in one piece for the duration of ownership.
These shoes are definitely not for everyone. If you have low arches or high arches they're not going to give you proper support without an insert, and they can run a teensy bit narrow, which may cause discomfort for some. The only real problem with these shoes was that the heel wears down faster than the rugged trail grips. If not for that, I could have probably held on to these longer. I used them on and off trails, in the gym, and even to run little errands. They're really good if you like to do a bit of urban running, and jump up and over all sorts of man-made structures. Definitely try them on first though, and be prepared not to like them. I can see why they're not for everyone. If you've got fairly average feet and stride then these should be fine.

After reading all the reviews, I decided to buy these trail running shoes. I must say I like these shoes but I wished they were 1/2 size bigger. All my shoes are in size 8 but for some reason, these are a little tight. While they feel alright for walking around, when I run on a trail with elevation or use the elliptical for cardio workout, the tip of my toes get really sore. I was hoping they would loosen a little by now, but they still annoy and hurt my toes after 2 months of use. Maybe I need to get them stretched out professionally.

I purchased these shoes because I have a job where I'm required to stand the whole day. I needed a shoe that would not make my feet hurt or tired by the end of the day. So far so good with these. My feet have not hurt yet! And that's the best thing I can say.

I was mostly looking for a waterproof stable trail running shoe. It was described as waterproof on the product description. It was stable and VERY cute but definitely NOT waterproof. Look for the one that says OUTDRY in the title if that is what you are looking for. If not, it seemed like a really nice little shoe!

These shoes arrived quickly, are super comfortable and are holding up well. Didn't need any breaking in. Quite light-weight too.
