Brooks Men's Dyad 6 Running Shoe Review
At first, my doctor recommended New Balance 883 with wide toe space, to relieve arthritis pain. They worked, no more anti-inflammatory drugs. BUT: NB discontinued the 883s (as stupid manufacturers do). NB changed the excellent 883 to the questionable 840 design. The 840 were OK, just OK, at first. Then the 840s became a painful switch from the 883s. So I hunted until these Brooks Dyad 6s. So far so good, no pain medication needed. For the last 30 years avid runners have complained about shoe companies discontinuing or changing models. These shoes are $70-100, not exactly "tennies" for ten year-olds. These are presumably made for avid runners, are they not? It's exasperating to find good shoes and within a year, they are discontinued. Manufacturers drive avid people away to, in my case Brooks. Let's hope Brooks keep these for a while (unlike their Hugger GTs, which they ruined).
