I had looked at these shoes on the Columbia website many times but was reluctant to purchase them because I hate having to return online purchases. I looked on Amazon one day and noticed they had the shoes as well with Prime shipping and free returns so I figured I'd go ahead with my purchase. I was not disappointed. When the box arrived, I honestly thought they forgot to package the shoes. They are super light but have an excellent sole to them, making them great for everyday use or hikes. They also have a well made, strong exterior for hikes where your feet may hit against rocks in weird angles. Would recommend to anyone. They do run slightly narrow, so if you have wider feet, it may take a while for the shoes to fit right until they are fully broken in.

These are great shoes. Extremely light weight and I love that they are waterproof. They fit very well but are a tiny bit snug for the first couple weeks of wear. Other than that I love them

I bought these shoes as an all-purpose light hiker to take on rocky, muddy, sandy, and anything-you-can-name hikes. Amazon shipping as always was very prompt. I usually wear a comfortable size 13 (which is what I bought), and these seemed to have a little extra room. But this isn't too much of a problem since the laces allowed me to snug the shoes so as not to get any wear spots. The shoes were a bit stiff upon arrival but broke in quite quickly. They are very light and have a great look to them. Beyond that, I took these drudging through a muddy rain forest hike, and the colors hid the dried mud very well so that a day or so later it wasn't very obvious that I was nearly ankle deep in mud with them. They worked well also on rocky hikes, but might be a little soft for very long hikes on rough rocky surfaces. Over all I love this shoe as an all-purpose hiker.

I get compliments on the shoes all the time. They are pretty comfy and I enjoy the sock free experience. Only reason for deducting a star is I don't think they are going to last all that long, but then again I'm notorious for wearing shoes beyond useful life.

I couldn't find anything like this in any store around the area. I'm so glad I looked online before buying a pair that I really didn't care for. I was surprised at how light weight they ended up being. I'm just hoping they really are waterproof as advertised. I will update this when I run into water.
