I only buy one pair of shoes at a time and wait until they wear out. I was looking through Facebook photos and saw these shoes in pictures dating more than 2 years ago. And they still look just like the picture (got the orange trim, you know what's up).Been through about 90% of trails in the rocky mountains and are now:
Not as water resistant as i remember
Tread has another 2 years in it.
Not one seam is bursting or frayed except one of the loop/tabs on the back is a little.
I'm considering getting new inserts for them but the originals aren't too bad yet.
My next shoe, if i ever need one, will be a patagonia w/ vibram.

I purchased this shoe for walking and hiking and am not disappointed. I purchased a half size larger than what I normally wear since I had experienced tightness with other shoes used for walking that were my normal size, and that was a wise decision. The sole is a bit stiff but for me that has been a good choice. These probably wouldn't be a good choice as a running shoe because of the stiff sole. The construction is exceptionally sturdy and that becomes apparent when wearing the shoe. I don't do a lot of long distance hiking but do take 5 to 10 mile walks and this shoe has worked well for that.Honest reviews on Patagonia Men's Drifter A/C Hiking Shoe
I normally wear a size 15, And these that good without socks. Just slightly too small.Love the look and design. Patagonia's normally fit large so I thought they might fit but they were slightly too small.
