Great looking shoe but if you order the wide width, the shoe will look huge on your kids foot. One thing that I have noticed is that with children's Saucony you will get a comfortable enough fit if you get the width a medium. The wide toe box on this shoe makes it look out of proportion with the rest of the shoe. I would have returned them but my kid had seen them and wanted to keep them.

Cheap NEW BALANCE Men's MX 506
I bought a pair today on sale at jcpenney for $36. Fit seems ok won't know more until they are worn for awhile. I have bought new balance for the last 10 years due to wider widths being available and have always had a good experience with fit, comfort and wear, Never paid this little for a pair but my budget is limited at the moment so I'm trying a less expensive pair.
I'd guess the chinese made this change without even telling NB here in America about it. I went through this when I used to wear Converse/Chuck Taylor's all my life. When Converse sent the shoes to me made in China, the heal was narrowed, and the shoe rubbed the back of my foot raw. I had to stop using the Converse and I eventually wound up with NB. Now, I will have to start looking for a different shoe again. The one in the picture (white/back/red) is no different than the grey/blue ones I bought in April/2011 at Fred Meyer in Seattle. The white/red/black ones I bought on Amazon, but NB has not corrected the problem.

I've had several pairs of MX505 and MX506 over the past several years. They were great shoes, and every comfortable. I always buy the same size 10.5 4E. But the toe box section of this shoe has changed. It seems to me it is more pointed than round or else the length of the shoe has changed--I'm not exactly sure. I bought this shoe in a grey/blue color in April/2011, and it had the same problem that this shoe has in that it is too crammed in the toe box area. I walked about 5 miles/day on this shoe. At first I thought the shoe just needed to be broke in, but after a while I realized NB had changed the fit of this shoe. After 6 weeks they actually broke the toenail on my right big toe right in half. I got callouses on top of all my toes on the right foot. I own these in the women's version and my husband wanted a pair in men's since I love mine so much. Due to a comment on here, we were able to get them for $36 at JCPenneys, so we got a great deal. Such a great deal I also bought a pair of the men's version! I have tried them on and although I have not worn them, they feel just like the women's version that I wear everyday, so I think they will be great! I bought these shoes for my husband since he's owned several pairs of New Balance tennis shoes and they've always been comfortable. However, this pair is not. He's worn them several times and said the heel portion is very painful. He's hoping they'll be more comfortable after they're worn in a bit but I would think tennis shoes would be comfortable from the start.

Oboz Men's Lightning BDRY Trail Running Shoe Reviews
Critique: I have been trail running for years and for about the last 3/4 of a year I switched to a minimalist shoe called the brooks pure connect because I also do a decent amount of road running. Those shoes are ultralight weight and extremely flexible. They don't have a raised heel so my stride can follow through better. However they have rounded relatively smooth soles so when I go trail running if the trail is the least bit damp they love to slip. I saw these shoes and I really like the sound of the company and was intrigued by the off set lacing system. After watching a youtube review and seeing the other reviews on this shoe I was sold. lightweight, doesn't retain moisture, great trail runner, ect... I took these out the first day for a short 2 mile run with the dogs and it was the hardest run I have run in a long time. My heels were hitting too soon and messing up my stride, my calves were working overtime to compensate for the stiffness of the sole, and over all it was extremely difficult. In addition it weighs a substantial amount. I have some Merrell hiking boots that I normally use for backpacking and hiking. These shoes and the Merrell boot are pretty much the same weight. I kid you not! I handed them to my roommate to see if it was just me, but neither of us couldn't tell which weighed more.
Upside: The shoe does seem to be very well constructed. I do like the offset lacing system, it lets the toes bend more naturally. It has a sole similar in stiffness to a backpacking boot meaning it doesn't really bend past the ball of the foot which will help prevent arch fatigue. It is lighter than a lot of hiking boots. The shoe is very solid. I have been looking to get away from boots because after a while the higher boots tend to crease and rub against my ankle bone. I would have returned these since they are definitely not a running shoe in my opinion but I think that anyone looking for a good hiking shoe should check these out. It is a quality shoe, and it comes from a good company.

This is my third pair of Lightning and sixth pair of Oboz in general. Got them, put them on, ran 15K on a trail in Napa and they fit like I've been wearing them for months. Strong support, fantastic fit, it's like they were made for me. I just love these shoes, they keep puddles out and stay breathable. Really like the fit and style. Was looking for a lighter weight shoe for hiking and general use. These feel good and breath well feet don't get too hot. I found the sizing to be very accurate and they are not too narrow like a lot of shoes seem to be.

This shoe is made, so that when you pull the laces tight, they connect to strings that pull up around the side of your foot. Unfortunately, the top outer string was right at my pinky toe. It applied direct pressure to my pinky. I only wore these shoes for an hour around the house, and my pinky toes are throbbing. I will be sending these shoes back. I expected this shoe to be pretty, but they are just like other tennis shoes I have purchased, look pretty on the site but not quite the same when received. I wear them during my workout. They are that comfortable, well, not to me. The ones I purchased have stretched a lot. I looking for a really comfortable workout shoe that is not so ugly and look like men shoes. I want a feminine work-out tennis shoe. I just saying. Overall I guess they are okay.

Wow. I absolutely love these shoes and I never write reviews but I just had to. They are the most amazing shoes ever and I have told all my friends to buy themsome did and they love them too! The best thing is that they really dont look that bad, not nearly as horrid as the original shape ups just for walking...people rarely notice unless I tell them. The grey and pink help.. pretty standard shoe colors. I love that you can walk and run in them... so perfect for my kind of exercise. I also do circuit training in the gym in them and I swear they have made a huge impact in my workout. Lunges are producing better results, etc. Sketchers may not be the most attractive of the toning shoes but they are def the best!! Buy them! your but and legs will thank you!!

It took some time to get used to it... but over all i love them. They are more comfortable than some of my regular shoes. You can really feel it when you step. I'm a very active Mom who has invested in countless support shoe brands... LOOK NO FURTHER,SHAPE UPS ARE THE BEST! I have 3 lace up Shape Up sneakers (the slightly more fashionable all leather mary jane shape up styles are actually not as comfortable)and I have them on from the time I wake until I unlace them bedside. TRY ON THE STYLE YOU WANT IN A STORE BEFORE YOU ORDER ONLINE! This is VERY important advice, since not every Shape Up style fits exactly the same way. They can run a bit snug, I wear an 8 8.5, and when I ordered my 1st pair in an 8, it took quite a long time to "stretch" them out from wear.. The 8.5 fits like a dream out of the box! Go to a local shoe store and try on several Shape Up styles, keep a record of what size(s) that fit best for each style. I have been in 2 significant car accidents, one by a drunk driver who forever affected my back & hips. I cannot use a treadmill, since the impact causes great pain in my back/hips/knees within minutes. I wear the Shape Ups and use an elliptical trainer, go for my walks, do all of my daily activities, and my level of back discomfort is almost ZERO! BELIEVE THE HYPE! It's precisely because of the curved, thick sole that my body feels so much better. It may take some getting used to, but SO WHAT? Doesn't anything worth while take a bit of adjustment? And for you fashion conscious folks out there, I'm a TOTAL fahionista, a shameless clothes horse, and I will tell you that when you're actually walking/standing in these, the sole looks more compressed and not as bulky as they do when you're just staring at an image of them. I get stopped CONSTANTLY, and feel like a spokesperson for Shape Ups. I finally managed to convince my Husband to buy 2 pairs that look exactly like Keen's, and he's in Heaven. For men who won't wear the sneaker version, the Keen-style is the perfect one! Don't own just ONE pair, you need to alternate between 2-3 pairs to give them a chance to breathe and recover from wear. For me, these are an absolute investment, I have no guilt over having 3 pairs. My very 1st review on Amazon, I am so passionate about the benefits of Shape Ups for my physical needs.
Review of ASICS Women's GT 2170 Trail Running Shoe
I needed some better shoes now that I have taken to jogging on our dirt road. The first time was with a normal pair of name brand all leather running/workout shoes and my feet were in incredible pain the next day from the sharpness and impact of the gravel. I bought these shoes and had them overnighted to run in the next day and it was an amazing difference.
These shoes have rugged tread that keeps your feet from hitting large gravel straight on. The arch support is fantastic for my high arches. I began running in these shoes right out of the box when they were delivered and it felt like I was running on marshmallows! They are so light and comfortable and makes running a little more enjoyable for me. My knees didn't hurt after running in these shoes either, so I would guess that they have really worked at lessening the impact of the road as well.
I highly recommend these shoes!!

They do, however, feel very light, comfortable at first, snug and supporting. They grab the trails like a magnet, your foot feels very steady and stable. I would totally give it 5 stars if it wasn't for the blisters that keep happening...

I'm very torn to give these 4 stars but I feel like I have to because they keep giving me blisters on the inner side of my heels. I got these because am in love with the Asics GT-2170 regular running shows and needed trail running shoes for my once a week long run in the trails. The first time I wore them the blisters were the size of my pinky finger. Changing more cushioned socks helped, but I still get the blisters I think the problem is that these are plated with metal plates to give you the needed extra support you need in trail running. Maybe they need to work on hiding them better behind more cushion?They do, however, feel very light, comfortable at first, snug and supporting. I have worn the Asics GT 2170 for three years and have truly loved them. They fit great and have helped me stay injury free (or close to it). I bought this pair due to their color and the reqular ones (non trail) didn't have any in my size left. I love the colors and after three months of running the shoes don't show any signs of wear on the top. My only problem is that they are trail shoes so they are made stiff to help balance when running on uneven ground (rocks, branches, etc.) which makes it a little tough and tight to use when running on the streets. I have adapted well and will continue to use them for street running but will not buy trail shoes in the future unless I am running trails!pros:

Got these for my daughters first restaurant job. She finds them quite comfortable. Fits true to size and she is glad I didn't get her higher heels due to the amount she is on her feet. They look professional as well. Shoes seem to be made well. I will update if they don't continue to hold up.

I have worn these shoes for only a few days, but I can already tell a difference in my feet. By the end of the day at work I was having trouble walking. I even had insoles that my foot doctor gave me. Now most of the pain is gone, I still wear my insoles, But I don't have as much of a problem walking. I had a pair of sketchers and they were not as comfortable as these are. They fit somewhat large but not enough to cause concern. I find the comfort to be great. I bought these shoes because of the CNA field I'm entering. I shall see just how well they hold up under showering patients. More to come soon.

I use these to run on concrete. The flexibility of the sole is great. Take out the insoles and you have a very thin protective layer between your skin and the ground. They are very minimalist, kind of like a VFF but without the weird toe hassle and strange looks.

This is the second pair of Inov8s I hav ordered. My first pair are the Bare-XF 210s. I bought those to replace my NB Minimus Zeros since I am military and needed something a little more conservatively colored. I bought this pair as my feet tend to sweat a lot and could use a pair to swap out while washing the other pair. I would say the ball of my foot is medium to wide in size. The 210s fit snug(not in a bad way) around my feet which allowed me to move side to side and turn tight while running. This leads me to the only downside to these shoes, the "toe box" is just a little loose so if you try to turn very quickly or stop to abroptly your feet may shift in them a bit. If your running doe not involve said motion these shoes would be great. Also this might be a good thing if you were going to run distance as your feet may expand enough to fit them. Over all these are very great shoes and I would not hesitate to by another pair.
Discount Vibram Fivefingers Treksport Sandal - Men's
After wearing Five Finger KSOs for a couple years, which I think are awesome by the way, I decided that I wanted something with a little more grip/padding for light trail/street running. My KSOs are size 41, so that's what I got with these at first. They were too big howerver, so I tried size 40 and the feel just a hair too tight. When I first was using them I didn't do any running and after a couple days they seemed fine. Then I decided to run in them and that was a big mistake. The ventelation on the sides is great, but the position wes just right that the forward inside vent corner began rubbing away the skin on my feet. After running only a half mile I had to stop and descovered that there were blisters on the insites of my feet and one of them was already bleading. Also, the stitchig on the inside tips of the toes is a little too thick and rough, and leaves red lines on the tips of my toes. I'd give it these two stars, but it's not Vibram's fault my feet don't conform to their specific sizes that seem to varry from one model of shoe to the next. They do look nice though.

The tongues that I had worried would rip have not yet done so, nor have they shown any signs that they will do so in the future. I am moving this rating from 4 stars to 5 stars. I've only wore them a few times since they arrived, and they are cummfy enough and all, and I like the feel when wearing them, as with all of the Vibram shoes I've ever owned, but the durability of that tongue on this particular pair is just so questionable. And if it rips out, the shoe is garbage. So far it hasn't happened yet, and I hope it never does, but I'm not very confident about it. I won't give these a bad review until they have actually ripped.
