My son has only wore his shoes two times so far but he says they are very comfortable. He wears a 1.5 which is what we ordered and they fit great. The material on the shoes looks like it's going to be durable and last longer than other shoes we have had with mesh. And they are just good looking shoes!

I just looked at these shoes at a specialty store since my son wears a wide width and they were over $50. I got them here under $30 so it was a great find. However, a few days later I went to order another pair in a different color and the price went up to $40. I guess I learned my lesson and will purchase then next pair sooner.

First off, I do not run in these. I bought these shoes purely for casual wear, since I wanted a laceless sneaker to slip on. Therefore, take this review with a grain of salt as I have no idea how these shoes perform when used for their intended purpose.

As casual shoes, these have several strengths:

1. They're extremely light and comfortable.

2. They breathe very well; they're perfect for hot weather.

3. For laceless shoes, they fit quite securely.

However, there are definitely some negatives that you should be aware of if you're considering buying these:

1. If the weather is cold and/or wet, do not wear these. The same ability to breathe that makes them so comfortable in the summer will absolutely soak your feet within minutes in the rain. These are not water resistant in any way whatsoever.

2. They are not incredibly sturdy. I've worn mine for about nine months now and there is quite a bit of wear. They're about halfway between a solid, sturdy shoe and a disposable paper slipper.

3. The colors are just ridiculously loud. I opted for the blue ones, thinking they'd be a more solid blue, however they're very light grey and baby blue. I can't wear these with jeans without feeling utterly ridiculous. Actually, I can't wear them with shorts either, unless I pretend that I've just come from a run. Then I don't just feel ridiculous, I am ridiculous.

I do like them, overall. I just don't find them to be very practical for day to day wear.

Great attempt by Puma at a triathlon type running shoe. I wear a 13-14 typically and this shoe was too small at a 14. I also googled and googled to try to find the heel toe drop on this product and couldnt find it. When I tried it on at home I thought it to be fairly high 10-12+ mm differential (based on feel) for how "low profile" the shoe appeared to be. Could be good for someone just starting out in triathlon/running if it fits your foot. Seemed to have good flex and good cushioning for the price point.

The shoes are very good for running and sports, they are very soft and flexible. Overall they are comfortable! Quality is good. However I recommend to take one or a half size bigger because the elastic stripes on the upper side are very tight.

The sole is thick and the shoe may fit snuggly but the material "puffs" out, losing that sleel look I prefer.

They were well made but lok bulky when worn.

The shoes are super cute. The laces are very slippery and they don't stay tied all that well, but I am sure once they get some good wear they will tie just fine.

I have a pair of these that i bought from a nike store the other day and I love them! They fit so well and definitely arent tight and certainly do loosen up a bit over time unlike other people said. I got a black pair with red triangles and they look sooooo cool. Make sure to get a pair of elite socks of matching color for something that looks cool.

They look great at least hv very solid appearance. I did praise the shoes few times until the sole fell off after 11miles hiking... Yes, it did happen. After only TWO weeks, these shoes absolutely fell apart. I had read another person's review that her shoes broke right away and couldn't believe it. But the very same thing happened to me. First the front treads fell off, and three days later, the back treads fell off. I was hiking the Appalachian trail and literally had to duct tape these terrible shoes during my entire hike. They are AWFUL. DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER BUYING THESE SHOES. I am sorry to say that they arrived with tags only in Chinese.

I bought these silver on black New Balance 740 size 4's at the start of the '10 school yr for my actve 7 year old 2nd grade boy. Within the 2nd week of school in Aug, the soles separated and chunks started carving out from the bottoms of both shoes. By the middle of Sept, the rubber pieces were flapping from the sides and the bottoms were down to mostly foam on the balls of both feet. As compared to other New Balance kids shoes, these turned out to be the most poorly made and held up the least of all that we've owned (and I've got 3 boys, and my husband and I are both runners). Although the colors are cool, I do not recommend these shoes.

I bought this in the chocolate/champagne color although the champagne trim looks more like silver. It's a striking color combination.

I purchased a Saucony walking shoe last month but it's leather and presses right under the bone below the big toe of my left foot. Because these had so much mesh, I thought it would work better for me. I bought these in my regular 7.5M size, given the reviews of other ASICS athletic shoes but they don't feel wide enough. I used them this afternoon to walk my dog and by the end of a short 25 minute walk, I had red spots on both sides of my feet. Since our walks normally average 45 minutes, I can only use these for occasions where I will be walking very short distances or I know I will develop blisters. Hopefully with all the mesh, the shoe will eventually stretch out and they'll be more comfortable to use.

I'm giving it 3 stars, more for the appearance than for their utility as walking shoes.

Because I wear walking shoes most of the time, I look for different colors and styles to match my clothes. This shoe (penguin/silver/coral) caught my eye because it would look great with an outfit I'd planned on wearing to Disneyland. I ordered my usual street shoe size of 7M because my feet are shallow/bony and I prefer to wear thin cotton socks. They felt great from the first time I put them on and it's obvious they'll need no breaking in. There's room for my over-the-counter arch supports and the bunion on my larger foot is comfortably accommodated by the mesh fabric. The coral color seems more like a soft orange (to me). They match my orange clothes better than my coral ones.

After Disneyland:

These shoes are less supportive than my other walking shoes, which is fine most of the time since I walk almost exclusively on level ground. On the inclined paved areas of Disneyland, I felt the my foot moving in the shoe more than I would prefer. I wore them 1 of the 4 days and did not have this problem on the other 3 days when I wore my New Balance 760 walking or Merrell CTR Cruise shoes.

I also bought a pair of these shoes for my daughter who wore them on 2 days of the Disneyland trip. She got a small blister (not too annoying) on the underside of the middle toes on both feet, so obviously these shoes don't fit her as well as they do me. She is usually very easy to fit in all shoes so I was surprised, and a little disappointed.
