I love these shoes, period. I had foot pain and inserts and ect... and no more with these shoes. The Bare Access Arc first generation fit my wide(ish) foot, provides plenty of arch support (for a barefoot shoe), is flexible and has amazing breathability.

When I heard there was a newer version that fixed all flaws associated with the 1st generation Access Arc, I thought it could go either way, love or hate. To me there was nothing to fix with this shoe. So they could either improve or make it worse... I hate the newer version, they squish the middle sides of my feet and run too large.

I wear a size 6.5 in these shoes and they leave just a bit of room for my toes to spread when lifting weights and my feet to expand while running. I tried a size 6 in the newer version and they were still too large (long) yet tight on the sides. Admittedly, I do have wide(ish) feet, usually I can swing both ways (giggity, giggity, goo), but not with the newer version. Remember, every foot is different... I would try these on at the store first. Meanwhile, I'm trying to buy these puppies up before they are all out. I'm in love... they have replaced my Brooks and Saucony's.

Had the merrell's Pace gloveand they hurt! Like the idea of a zero drop heel to make me run on the ball of my heel, but needed more padding for the asphalt. Got this shoe for a good price and love that it does just what I want and is super light. Ordered the standard 1/2 size up for a running shoe (normally wear a 9.5 and got a 10), fits great!

I have only ran in them once and im currently in Afghanistan so I run on dirt roads and rocks; They feel soo comfortable I am definitely buying them again. They have become my new favorite pair of running shoes. Next time ill get pink!!!

These are great running shoes, I wear them every day. They are so light you can barely feel them on. Feels like running in bedroom slippers. I like that the inside sole is sewn in. I've washed these shoes several times. Only con is that since they are so thin, your feet get wet when it rains. Overall I love them and will buy again.

I have never owned a pair of sneakers that did not rub against my heels. I always end up with raw or blistered heels after a walk or a workout. I was hoping that a lightweight sneaker would not rub. I am usually a size 8 and got a size 8 and a half since other reviewers said they run a bit small. They fit great with a thin pair of socks. I love how lightweight they are. On my first walk in them, my heels were okay. On my first run, they were okay for about a half an hour until a small blister started to form on each heel. I was super bummed. Maybe I just have oddly shaped feet. I will still keep these as they are so comfortable. I'm hoping that the heel rubbing will stop after a few more wears. I'm not a fan of the color but it was all that was left in my size.

I really, really like Garmont shoes, so I was a little disappointed with this shoe.

1. The tongue has some raised sections on either side of it that really rubs into your foot initially.

2. I find the stock inner a little too spongy, so my heel rubs up and down on the back of the shoe. I replaced it with a much thinner inner sole.

3. There's too much play in the tongue, it keeps getting shoved down into the boot and creasing. I have to pull it out to keep it flat.

4. This is advertised as an ADD shoe (look up the Garmont literature) but I don't see it in the design. Granted it's just a walking around shoe, but I don't see extra space for your metatarsal, nor an asymmetric tongue, like the other ADD Garmonts.

I'm hoping the shoe will grow on me.

This was my second pair of the Puma Osuran, and I like the color scheme for these. They aren't bright white, which I hate white sneakers. The color is accurate in the picture as far as the sole goes. The other pair I got were from a discount shoe store, and I paid just slightly less than this amazon seller. This pair were slightly more narrow, but I'm not sure if that's because they were completely new and the other pair had been tried on a million times. I am satisfied with the fit and comfort. These are my work shoes, I work in healthcare and spend 12+ hours on my feet and these shoes are always comfortable.

Our 5 year old saw these online and was extremely excited to receive them. He has been wearing them daily every since (two weeks now). I've found new balance to be a true fit to size and good durability, important if you have boys that wear their tennis shoes daily everywhere. My 3 yr old has a different pair of NB and likes those as well. They haven't complained about how their shoes feel. The rainbow shoe is very colorful and fits very well with our excentric 5 yr olds personal style. I would recommend them.

Nice, durable, well-made product that absolutely does not work. The chains roll underfoot, and they slip on ice as though you were wearing skates. I don't see any purpose for these except as decoration, and dangerous decoration at that. They'll make you fall!

I got these after getting a pair that had spring and rubber on the bottom of my boots. Those worked well on snow and ice, but some of my walking is on a road which took a toll on the rubber. The ICEtrekkers work much better for me. If I need another pair of these I would buy the ICEtrekkers.

I purchased these to put on my Salomon winter boots to wear for snow clearing when my first pair of YakTrax broke. For pushing snow around I did feel they worked really well except that snow really balled up on the metal when it was really cold and Within a couple of weeks of use a metal rivet had pulled through the rubber and the chains were flopping. I'm not sure if this is typical or just a faulty pair, but I'm going back to Yak Trax this year because I was able to get a couple of pairs of Yaktrax pro from Eddie Bauer for less than the price of one pair of ICE Trekkers. I would have returned them, but unfortunately the shop in town had burned down!

Unlike some of the other ice handling pull-ons, these have steel chains that cover the entire bottom of the shoe or boot. There is always some steel in contact with the ice giving improved traction. They go on relatively easily, although centering the chains can take some effort. The rubber strap keeps the chains tight on the boot without any protruding parts to interfere with walking.

Have three boys they have been wearing these for over 2 years now. The fit is great, the quality is great, they love them. Shoes usually replaced about every four months for the 10 year old twins and these have hung in there better than most. The 18 year old has had them for 1+ years and they still look great.

Just received my new Fila Shoes. I was looking at Vibrams but a friend had bought the Filas and said they were just as good. They were also less expensive. Took my dogs for a hike in my new shoes. It was like walking on air. My feet have never been so comfortable. For the first time I felt extremely well balanced as I walked. (I am a bit clutzy) It was amazing how much better I walked with my toes spread in the Filas instead of squished together like when I wear regular walking shoes. I felt compelled to apologize to my toes for all the years of confinement they had suffered!! Will definitely buy another pair. These shoes are awesome!!

PS When you first put these on, you will think they aren't going to fit or will be tight. They are stretchy. Use the loops to pull them on and get your toes lined up. Once on, they are quite comfy. They fit like a glove.

Like another reviewer, My sons shoes fell apart after less than an hour of simply walking on the sidewalk. The rubber sole separated from the fabric on top of the shoe. My son now does not have decent shoes to wear for the first day of school, as I wait for a return authorization, and then an exchange on the shoes. I hope the next pair is not defective. If they are, I guess I will forget about this brand.

The hard "rocker sole" promises to support a smooth stride, and maybe provide some additional exercise. The shoe is beautifully made, as are all Mephisto shoes. But the design has two serious problems: [1] the "rocker" sole makes standing unstable (perhaps forcing you to continually rebalance is part of the promised exercise), and [2] running is impossible. Of course, it's not sold as a running shoe, but if you have to run even a few steps, it will feel like you have wooden blocks strapped to your feet. I threw mine away.

I did a lot of research before making the decision to purchase the Vibram fivefinger Speed. As a martial artist, I use a minimal shoe that I like, but they fall apart after a few months of use. So, I was looking for a minimal shoe that would last longer. I heard that these shoes are well made and that they tend to last. Since my feet are already accustomed to minimal shoes, I really didn't need the 'adjustment period', which is suggested, but I do agree with easing into it, if you are not accustomed. I have worked out in them 3 times now and am very pleased. I had read that if you are prone to shin splints (I am) that these will help tremendously with that. I can report that they do, no pain in my shins! Running is easier and I can go longer. They are so lightweight that it feels like I am just wearing soft socks around town! I feel like I'm cheating or something! I do not recommend wearing these without socks. I can do all of my kicks and the shoes are so light on my feet. After I take the shoes off, my feet feel great (which I am not used to. I usually have soreness in my feet most of the time). After working out in these shoes, I feel like I have had a foot therapy session and my feet fell like I am walking on clouds for the rest of the day. I can see how people become addicted to wearing these shoes. I really think they are the future of footwear. As far as fit is concerned, measure your foot carefully. I usually wear a women's 71/2 and my foot is 91/4 inches long, so I went with the 38. They are a perfect fit. Also, I ordered these on a Thursday afternoon, from the seller, and chose the Free 5-8 business day shipping. They arrived that Saturday afternoon! 'So pleased with the service.

i bought these shoes because i am on my feet for 8 hours all night for work and i have had knee trouble. i saw the box and ripped into it with my box cutters. let me tell you it was WEIRD and FRUSTRATING putting them on at first because i am not used to that one bit! but i wiggled them in and tied them up and they feel AMAZING! if you ladies measured your feet against the wall with a ruler and came out with exactly at 9 inches buy the 37 they fit me like a glove! i walked around outside they feel amazing i even ran a tad bit and they feel amazing so light and not bulky. i know how to run properly and with normal shoes it can be a bit hard but with these its PERFECT! also i read a comment somewhere that these could be "nock-offs" and if they are they are the most comfortable "nock-offs" out there!

These shoes feel great, they have great support, breathe great, have tons of grip and I just feel like wearing them all the time. I bought this shoe to do running and crossfit. It has done very well in the running department. It is very light and is great for either sprinting or a little bit longer running. The farthest I have ran in them was 6 miles and I got a little bit of a blister on my big toe but that could have just been the fact I didn't work them in before doing that long of a run. As for crossfit they work well for most things I have encountered. This is obviously not the best shoe for olympic lifting with it's design but I have done that in these as well. Overall I am very pleased with this shoe.

Hubby likes these and likes this kind of Nike, however be aware that the blue part in these is a bit funky ~ to borrow an expression from him. Otherwise great shoes, and the color is not a deal-breaker. He liked the fit as always. Nike's are always good investments for him and the price is right. Just wanted to give others the heads up about the blueness of that part of the shoe ~ not bad, just a little different that what he's seen before in his shoe choices.
