Brought these for bootcamp and they are very comfortable for running. I would recommend these gym shoes to anyone who is looking for a good running shoeI love the fit, color and comfort. I'd been looking for a pair of shoes for work and these are perfect. They are flexible yet durable.

Saucony Men's Progrid Omni 11 Running Shoe Review
I was a little late updating my running shoe. I had the Omni 7 and they were too worn. I had ramped up my exercise too much too soon lately and developed what feels like plantar fasciitis on my left foot. As soon as I put these on the discomfort was noticeably less. I am still treating the foot gingerly for now, but I even ran a bit on it to see where I was at with the pain. Felt great, but I don't want to push it. For now, I am mostly exercising with eliptical trainer, but I hope to be running 3-5 miles again soon. Zero pain and shoe feels great.
I was originally turned on to the shoe at a shoe store where they analyzed my shoe wear pattern and watched me run on a treadmill. I am an over-pronator who has had a lot of difficulty running in the past. Years ago, I developed a stress fracture with regular shoes and had to lay off running for a long time. (My family has terrible foot problems.) The Omnis helped me get back to running. They are much lighter than the Omni 7 and feel great. Definitely recommend. Just don't wait to long to get new shoes!
Edit: Foot rehabbed in month on boring eliptical trainer and back to normal. I've been running 5 miles at a time with no problems for the past month. Great shoe.

After reading how important a real running shoe is, I bought a pair of Omni 11's yesterday. I wore them for the first time today and I felt no pain at all while running. They are extremely comfortable and give my weak overpronating feet amazing support. I don't know if this is only because I have never worn a proper running shoe or because this is truly an excellent product but I suspect the latter. Definitely recommend it.
My only gripe is that I have the White/Blue/Citron model and that combination of colors looks a bit silly. Buy the red ones if you can.

This is my first running shoe so take my review with a grain of salt.I started running about 2 months ago and I always wore a pretty old, simple sports shoe. Last year when I decided to try running for the first time in my life, I was fitted for a pair of these from a local running store. I went from suffering horrific shin splints to being able to run 4-5 miles on the treadmill pain free. I used them in my daily boot camp classes for a year until it was obviously time to replace (lost the cushioning and grip). I decided to buy a new pair on Amazon since it was substantially cheaper than my local shop, and am not remotely disappointed. The only tip I'd offer is that if you have wider than average feet (like I do), you may want to get a wide pair. The Omni 11s are a great shoe. The only thing of note if you're used to the Omni 10s or 9s, is they seem lighter. Not quite the minimalist shoe experience, but definitely not the heft of the older models.

These shoes arrived in the advertised amount of time, but after wearing them a couple of weeks the tab that hold the laces pulled out. It was only glued in place. I assume the other tabs would also pull out. I was so excited to order these. I thought they were really different and cute. I wish I had read the reviews first. When I received the shoes it was obvious from the quality of construction materials that they were not really Nikes. The sole is thin and inflexible. The logo stitched on the side does not seem accurate. The label on the inside of the shoe had bleed over from the black dye on the shoe. There is zero support for the foot. When I put them on and tied them they assumed a really strange shape. I should have looked for this shoe elsewhere on the internet before ordering to verify that it is not counterfeit. To return them they must be sent to London, which costs almost as much as the shoe. I have decided to hold the shoes as evidence and will contact both Nike and Amazon to alert them to the fraud.

These are still the best trail running shoes available for my kids in junior high school cross country. However, they are not as good as the previous model. The toe box on the original is roomier for splaying their toes and the upper on this model is much stiffer than the original which inhibits some of the flexibility. Also, the original had a nicely padded heel counter and softer upper materials for greater comfort. All that aside, my kids still love these shoes and the colors available. Hopefully v3 will return to softer, more flexible upper materials.

We are very happy with these shoes, as we were looking for minimalist runners for my son. Initially he thought they seemed a bit tight, but after running in them for a month, he reports they feel great! They are VERY light weight, which likely helps for distance running. So far, they have held up just fine. We are very happy with the minimal sole, and the wide toe box, particularly giving room for his smallest two toes. Nice, sleek sneakers. The minimal style is great for kids that feel like most sneakers are too bulky or heavy. My son loves them and he has a complaint about practically every pair he's owned. He also tends to be clumsy and these really work for him to feel more grounded. A couple things to consider before buying -Though great for running, they are supposed to mimic barefoot running so they lack the extra padding or support that he/she may be used to. Also, the thin fabric will wear down faster than that of other sneakers so think about what kind of daily "abuse" your kid will put them through. I only gave them four stars because I did notice that the stitching on some parts was starting to unravel a bit. I live on the island of Aruba and it is Carnival time. l ordered these because I will be on my feet a lot and wanted something fun, bright and comfortable, and they fit the bill perfectly. They can't be found anywhere on the island, and everyone is jealous.
Very good fit, size was dead on. Wide enough across the instep so they don't squeeze my foot but a snug fit around my narrow ankles so they don't rub and cause blisters. When worn with a thick sock my feet feel really good, and I have foot problems. Lots of cushioning on the sole to ease being on my feet for long stretches, while making quite an impression. They are funky, but fun, and that is why I bought them, but am also very happy with the fit and foot support, and they don't feel heavy, very lightweight.
They are light weight and very colorful. I have recieved lots of compliments on my new shoes. I wear solid color uniforms and the Confetti color really works to brighten up my uniforms.
I change my nursing shoes every six months and I will be purchasing these again in six months.

Still, love them, can't wait until it warms up a bit!!

I bought this shoe for my wife because she thought it was a fun look, even though our son told her that at 60 she was too old for it. She was a little worried about the width because she usually wears a wide width, but this medium worked out fine, although those with wide feet may need to wear a thinner sock with it. I am a full time nurse and am on my feet 10-14 hour days. I am very please with my purchase. My new Skechers are very comfortable, especially the heels. My son wore these shoes for approx 4 hrs the first day and the stitching that holds the sole to the front of the shoe came loose. This stitching was a major consideration for buying this particular shoe. My kids, everyone else's I'm sure, drag the toe of their shoes whether crawling or just playing, so the stitching seemed that it would prevent the sole from seperating from the upper. Bought these for my 10 year old son after seeing them at a store for $15.00 more. So far so good, like the color, my son says they fit good and I am happy for saving a little money! The blue is bright but it still says boy. Test of time will tell if they hold up, but for now we are happy.

Overall this is a great javelin shoe that really holds the ankle firmly and gives your block a nice solid feel. One problem is that the protective skin thing is not where it should be and as a result when I throw and my ankle is dragged the proper way it wears out, so I consider that a big mess up, but other than that its good.

Because I couldn't get any size smaller than a 6 "unisex" I'm glad these fit and did so perfectly. I'm a size 7.5 or 8 in US women's sizes and 38 or 39 in European sizes, so with the 6=38.5, I got a good fit. When I first put them on, I thought they'd be too small and narrow, but didn't feel like that at all when I started throwing and I would rather have them on the snug side anyway, rather than too big. The only thing I didn't like was they feel too cushioned. I run in minimalist shoes with no cushion at all and these have a rather thick footbed that you can't remove. That said, other javelin shoes I looked at seemed to have even more cushioning, so these were my best overall pick. I am an ultra runner who runs over 500 miles a month. I run barefoot style and have been using the Nike free line for over 4 years and have tried all the models. I like them all but the run 2, which feels like a slipper, is my favorite. They are also the longest lasting shoe I have ever owned which is important to me. The fit is exactly what I would expect for size 10. I normally do not like slip on style shoes, but these are easy to get on and off and are very comfortable to walk or run in.

Best Reebok Men's Yourflex Run Running Shoe Deals
I'm a returning runner and initially fell into the "minimalist" craze, with the expected results. After healing up I decided to try out a slightly more padded shoe and put on the Yourflex by Reebok at a local sports store. Fantastic. Immediately I felt how light they were, how comfortable, soft and airy they were and how much they flexed underfoot (this is a good thing!).
I now have about 20 miles on them and they are easily my favorite running shoe, and the shoe I am most likely to reach for out of my closet... period.
Pluses: Light, well ventilated, flexy underfoot but still padded, super comfy
Minuses: Not fancy looking, no toes, can't julienne carrots
Seriously, if you're looking for a lightweight, inexpensive mid-strike/forefoot strike style running shoe with a little fluff underfoot, you won't find a better one.
THIS SHOE IS WORTH EVERY DOLLAR.

This shoe is fantastic, got the grey and white ones for $51 dollars, i have pretty average feet good arch and normal width and i got these in 10.5 they run true to size. as with all new running shoes i'll wear them for a day to break them in and get a feel for them then run in them, and these feel amazing, they really absorb any impact when you walk, if you're not a runner get these for when you go out on walks or your spending a day sight seeing. the upper is a synthetic mesh that is very breathable and keeps your feet cool and prevents blistering. running in these feels amazing, this is a lightweight shoe, not a minimalist shoe, you are getting a lot of padding, however it is extremely lightweight and comfortable to run in. the shoe is extremely flexible and allows for a lot of natural foot motion, which i find comfortable but other runners seek more stability.THIS SHOE IS WORTH EVERY DOLLAR.

I was drawn to this shoe because Nike's Lunarlon technology is really incredible and supportive. Throw in the new Flyknit technology and this shoe really feels like a snug sock on your feet. Review of Brooks Men's Beast '12 Running Shoes
I am a big big boy. 300+ pounds of pure love :-) No this is not a personals ad here. For the last few years, I have had lots of trouble with foot pain & have been changing shoes often to find something that works long term for me. I visit a Chiropractor once a week & was just randomly talking when he suggested I go to a proper shoe store & get my gait analyzed. I did so & after trying on 5-6 pairs of shoes, the shoe we narrowed down to was the Brooks Beast in 2E. What a miracle of a shoe this is. I am no expert on quality & no I do not run. If I did so, I would be much lighter. I need a shoe I can wear all day, walk around moderate amount & not have my feet kill me at the end of the day. This does just that. It comes in 2 colors & I own both. These are the only 2 shoes I wear everyday day in & day out.
Last year I bought the Brooks '11, which was the first time I've ever wore a Brooks brand shoe. At first I was unimpressed, but reviews said that it may take time to break them in and they were right. After a few weeks the shoes became the ...not sure if they were the most comfortable or second most comfortable shoe I've ever wore. New Balance 993's were also very nice.
Anyway, after 8 months, it was time for a new pair. I was going to order the same pair, but I saw that a newer version was available. The new version was a tab bit more expensive, but I liked the new style and figured it would probably be superior to my last pair in every way. But I was wrong.
I ordered a pair through Zappos, put them on, and went for a walk. I immediately noticed that they were more narrow and my feet felt a little cramped, but I figured I would break them in and they'd stretch out. And for the most part, they did stretch out, but not quite like I wanted. After about a month, they were still kinda uncomfortable. I could tell they were completely broken in.
They also seem to have tore up quicker. It's been about 4 months, and I think I need a new pair of shoes. The pleasing style of the shoe has maintained from the Brooks '11, but everything else seems to have diminished slightly. I think I'm going to try the Asics Kayano 19 next and perhaps try the Brooks '13 when it comes out, which I think will officially determine my opinion of the brand.
I think for $140 there are way better shoes out there.

I have bad feet and I tear up my shoes rather quickly, so I buy a new pair every 5-8 months. I don't make a lot of money, I don't have mush to spend on extras, but comfort is one thing I always splurge on. I figure $300 a year for something I will be spending nearly half my time in is money well spent. I am wide footed and wear 10.5 4E. Decent wide width shoes are hard to find. I seem to have aberrant ankles which attach to my perfectly flat feet and overpronate most of the time. However, my shoes wear out on the lateral aspect of the heel-as if I oversupinate. This is the first time I have left a review for an internet purchase. I am 6'8 and currently 375 lb, I hated running because it hurt my knees and feet so much, now the only thing that stops me is being out of breath. first time I tried brooks running shoes,bought the beast 12 they seem to have more cushioning than all the new balance I usually buy. I am a walker 2 to 3 miles a day and they seem to not bother my broken ankle of 1 year ago. great shoe and fit is excellent will probably buy another pair.

I bought these to use in my workout shoes and the contradiction with that is I'm too lazy to tie my shoes. Once you get them to the length you want you just use the little lock, cut off the excess and stick the knot in the little end cap and forget about it. My kind of easy! This makes it fast to just slip them on and the color energizes me. The shipping was super fast.

I bought these to put on my running shoes for TRI transitions. I was nervous with them being bungee cords but they work so well! There are two ways you can use them, for regular usage you can move the toggle to tighten and loosen them as necessary. Or you can determine a comfortable tightness and knot the cords so they don't come undone. I went with the second option so they don't become loose on my run. These were a great idea, but they broke after the 2nd use. Wouldn't purchase again, but I was dumb and threw away my original shoe laces. :(
