The larger your feet the better chance you will need to go one size up. I normally wear 13 and I got 14 and they were perfect. Other reviews have suggested a 1/2 size larger but I had to use one size up. Cool looking comfortable shoes.

Now that I've had these for a few weeks, I think I can give a pretty fair review.

I get new shoes about every five years, but went a little longer this time. After the doctor ordered I get new shoes, I decided now was a good time to replace my Pumas. It wasn't long till after I perused Puma's website that I found these. I instantly fell in love.

I normally get white or blue themed shoes, but I wanted something black this time--but not too black. These were perfect.

First, the colors. The black isn't too black, more like a charcoal in person. There are areas of the shoe that have a glossy black. The neon green makes everything pop, and the blue trimming and inside--which is my favorite shade of blue--really seals the deal. I've wanted a pair of Pumas with the puma on the sides, but I still like the old Puma logo. These are perfect in that the cat is placed on the inner sides of the shoe, where the classic Puma logo remains on the outer sides. Two for one.

The white on the bottom is bright, but will get dirty right away, as you'd expect. The "Cell" line name is on the bottom as well. The shoelaces are black, but have a gray line running in the middle of each.

Also, to ease the process of putting them on, each shoe has a rubber tab on the tops of the tongues. Lastly, there's a nice little white puma on the fronts.

Now, the reason for the one star off. I'm a 9.5 in shoe size, and have been getting shoes ranging from 9 to 10.5. As I reasoned that Pumas are mostly true to my size (though many claim they run half a size small), I ordered a 9.5 when they were on sale, and I also had a coupon. They fit perfectly around the house. It wasn't till I wore them a whole day that I realized my mistake. I should've listened to the other people and ordered a half size bigger. My feet were killing me.

But it was too late to return them. I was going to have to tough them out.

What makes this pair unfortunately tight was that they had extra padding on the inside. Which is a good thing, obviously. But know that that extra padding will force you to order a half size bigger than your foot size.

But after a few weeks, the shoes have stretched, and they are nearly perfect to my feet. They're still a bit snug, to be sure, but I'm certain that after a little more time they'll stretch a bit more. I like my Pumas true-to-fit, anyhow.

Plus, since these are running shoes, they have that extra sole on the bottom, which make these all the more comfortable.

I use them for casual wear instead, and I think they're great.

I choose this rating because they are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. I've always had big feet, and have been unable to find ANY shoes that fit me perfectly. But these came in an 11.5 in Womens, AND THEY ARE LIKE HEAVEN! It barely even feels as if I am wearing shoes. :D

Honest reviews on Pearl iZUMi Women's Iso Transition Triathlon/Train Shoe

I bought these shoes not only so that T1 transition would be faster but also because I needed some new minimal running shoes with a little wider toe box than I had on my Asics. I was having some problems with Morton's Neuroma on my right foot. I have had no problems since I switched to these shoes. I will warn anyone who is looking for a cushioned motion control shoe that this is not the shoe for you. It is closer to a racing flat than a cushioned road shoe. That is perfect for me. I am a neutral, high arched runner. The only reason the shoe did not get 5 stars is because after only about 50 miles there is already some slight wear showing up on the sole near the heel. These are pretty expensive shoes and I hope they hold up longer than a few hundred miles.

I call them my Spidey Shoes as they are great on a trail. No slipping ever. Unfortunately they don't make them any more. I usually wear a women's 9 1/2 or 40, but in these I needed a men's 9. It should have been closer to a men's 8...

I recently bought the ASICS size 5.5 (USA size) for my child. Very happy with the postage and arrival times. Please note: buyers should add about 1.5 shoe sizes over normal trainers. My child wears size 4 ASICS trainers but wears 5.5 in the spikes. Good product good price.

Runs about half to full size too small.

My son wears between a size 1 and 1.5, I ordered size 2 and it fits him perfect.

Has great stability (considering it is not a single plate) and support.

Built well for the price.

Great value for the beginner track star.

I work out a lot, but I'm built kinda like a linebacker, and find that after doing stairmaster or treadmill, my feet are usually pretty sore in the arch area. So, I'm a prime candidate for needing more arch support, something that Superfeet are supposed to give you.

They do cup your heel just about right and follow the shape/last of the shoe well. Properly-sized, they will give you MODERATELY more support/less soreness, though they certainly don't eliminate sorenessthey're no magic bullet. Still, better than other inserts I've tried.

The one thing I don't like (aside from them being a bit pricey for what they are) is that Superfeet's idea of what is a high or low-arched foot is a bit off. No matter what it says on the box, the various Superfeet models actually work out like this (as of their early '09 lineup):

GreenSUPER high-arched insoles, only good for ppl with REALLY high arches, will be torture for anyone else who has 'em on their feet for more than a few minutes. Gitmo-approved. o_0

BlueIt says "ideal for low to medium-arched feet" on the back of the box, but its more like 'ideal for medium to high' arches, actually. I have fairly low-arched (but not flat) feet, and while the blues felt okay in the store, after using them for a few days it was quite obvious that these were *not* it. I felt like I was walking around in high heels or something... definitely TOO MUCH arch support, to the point of being mildly painful. Not good.

BlackThese are allegedly for 'flat or sensitive' feet. I'd say instead they're the TRUE Superfeet product for low-arched feet. These are the ones that ultimately ended up working for me, but I am annoyed that I wasted money on the blues. In fact, the salesperson had tried to talk me into the GREENS at first, even after seeing my feet, but a few laps around the store showed me the horror of that. WTH?

Basically, what I think is going on is that what Superfeet is trying to sell you is SUPPORT, so they want to get you into the highest/'most supportive' insoles they can, so that you go, "Gee, wow, what a difference, so much support."

The problem with that, of course, is that you end up basically KILLING your feet, because going too high in the arch on these things will just mess you up, ESPECIALLY if you're heavier-than-average, like me. What feels about right in the store will seem TOO HIGH after a few days, trust me.

In short, these are moderately helpful, and deserve kudos for being better than most other insoles out there, but go one support/height level LOWER than what the box tells you, particularly if you're heavier than average (muscle or fat).

Again, IGNORE THE BOX, the REAL sizing is:

greens for very high arches

blue for medium or high arches

blacks for low arches (anything even slightly below medium, really)

Flat feet, I dunno, likely just a *shoe* with good arch support, no special insoles.

Hope this is helpful.

I benefited a great deal from reviews. So I want to contribute this feedback to help people who suffer the same heel pain.

I suffered from heel pain and didn't know what it was. I kept buying jell shoe insert to no avail. I finally went to my family doctor who quickly diagnosed it to be Plantar Fasciitis and prescribed Superfeet. (I am not a podiatrist, so take it as it is worth: the telltale of Plantar Fasciitis is that it hurt a lot when I got up in the morning then it became better after a few steps.) I took a look at Superfeet and didn't believe it because Superfeet was simply a "piece of very hard plastic" for close to $40 while other inserts were only $10.

Furthermore, when I gave Superfeet a try, buying exactly my shoe size, selecting a random arch, it hurt even more. Through trials and errors, I found a method that will help.

Some other reviewers wrote about ignoring the shoe size and going for the right fit of the foot arch. I cannot emphasize this enough. It doesn't matter what the size of Superfeet is, when you have the right one, the contour of Superfeet should fit the curve under your foot arch perfectly. The rest of Superfeet could be trimmed.

There are two critical factors: 1) the right arch (flat, low, medium, or high arch) and 2) the right fit of the foot from the heel forward. Superfeet has different colors for different arches. It is too much trouble to define whether you have a low, or medium or high arch. Just try on several Superfeet sizes and several colors (for the arch) until you find the Superfeet that fits your heel and your arch perfectly. The rest of the insert can be trimmed. This is difficult if you buy online. So find a store that sells Superfeet to try out, and if they have a good price, give them the business. If not, there are Amazon.com and other online stores.

There are a few more conditions to make it a success and no pain: when you trim the inserts, trim slowly. You cannot untrim what you cut too short. The right way is to trim it so that Superfeet is about 1/16" to 1/8" *smaller* than your inner sole toward the front/toes. After inserting Superfeet, you can put your hand and fingers into the shoe to feel the gap around the insert toward the front. In other words, Superfeet will need to be able to move a little not a lot while you walk, so that it fits perfectly under your foot. You can experiment the exact size of the insole to find out for yourself. You can always trim it smaller. Also, please remember to remove the removable insole. Believe me. I thought leaving the insole I would get some cushioning to assist this hard plastic. Not true. Superfeet needs to rest on hard sole to provide the balance you need to relieve the pain.

Hope your experience is as pleasant as mine and that you won't have to pay a lot for customed orthotics.

Best Deals on Superfeet Blue Premium Insoles

I spent a summer working on my feet 16 hours a day, 7 days a week and by September, had incredible pain in my feet. From the heels to where the arch of the foot is. So much that I was curling my feet, trying to walk on the outer edges of them to minimize the pain. I researched orthotics and found these, but decided to see my doctor first. Well I could have saved my $30 co-pay, because he recommended that I buy these from the hospital's drugstore!

It's very easy to fit these to your shoes. I just pulled out the insert that came with my shoe, and traced it onto the back of the Superfeet using a Sharpie. Then I cut it out on the inside of that line, very carefully. No problems, just don't do it hastily because you don't want to cut them too short and end up paying double.

They don't look like much, they're a relatively thin insert (compared to those 'regular' brands like Dr. Scholls that are heavily padded), so I was really skeptical that they'd have any impact. But they work! They're the only thing that's allowed me to be able to walk the 10 minutes to school without any issues. Before I used these, it was so painful just standing in the shower. I find that if I'm doing lengthy housework (barefooted) that my feet just begin to have a dull ache, especially in the heel. So sometimes I use the Superfeet designed for women's flats, and walk around in cotton flats.

I've been really surprised at how well these work. I didn't know why I doubted these to begin with, because the Dr. Scholls and others I've tried did absolutely nothing! It's been 9 months I can't imagine going anywhere without wearing these. If I'm walking for 1+ hours, my feet will ache a bit, but nowhere near where they were before. Well worth the $35, and this coming from a broke college student.

Honest reviews on Superfeet Blue Premium Insoles

I tried Dr Scholls and Orthpidics shoe insoles and Superfeet is far superior to both. But it is also 2-3 times the cost of either one.

I am an avid golfer and I like to walk the golf course as an exercise. Becuase walking through an 18 hole golf course is equivalent to walking 2 miles in 4 hours, the foot can be very sore afterwards. To allevitate my footpain, I decided to use Superfeet in a very comfortable Nike golf shoe.

Superfeet was way more comfortable than either Dr Scholls or Orthipidics in the same shoe. Furthermore, my foot was hardly sore after an 18 holes of golf.

The only downside of these soles is they are slippery, so your foot tends to slide within the shoe. But this can be ameliorated by tying the shoe little more tightly.

The bottom line: if substantially reducing footpain from a long arduous walk is your primary concern, then these are the best if you want to pay for them.

I was recommended these by my podiatrist for some joint issues in my foot. They've improved the way I walk immensely in the month that I've had them, and I'm in the latter half of marathon training. They hold up well, but they are not designed for wide feet. I'm a 2E-4E, and they don't take up the whole width of the shoe in the toe-box area. It isn't too bad, but is noticeable if I move my big toe the right way. Why, why, why not make the insole about a 1/2 wider at the end so this wouldn't be a problem? Just a heads up... this is not a cushiony insole. It's designed to force your foot to roll correctly.

As an underpronator, I'm generally told to look for a running shoe that is cushioned, flexible, and has arch support but no stability features. The cushion is to offset the fact that my foot is rather rigid (which is why it doesn't roll in to the neutral position). I need impact to be absorbed, so I don't hurt myself. The flexibility is to encourage my foot to roll inward in much as it is willing to do so. And the arch support reduces the affect of impact on my arch, and as a result helps me avoid plantar fasciitis (which I have suffered from in the past).

This shoe meets all the above criteria. Despite being incredibly well cushioned, it somehow also manages to be flexible in the forefoot. The middle section of the shoe wraps my foot snugly, lending arch support. I feel both secure and comfortable in this shoe. Also, this shoe is lighter than some other cushioned shoes I've tried. In short, I love it!

Sizing note: My non-running shoes are all 8-8.5. My running shoes are generally size 9. I need a 9.5 in these, to get the roominess that is recommended for when feet swell during running.

I wear these in a pair of Keen shoes around the house & in my running shoes. I have pain in the ball of my foot so have been looking for an insert that has extra padding in that area. You can't see it because the packaging covers it but these insoles have a gel zone for the ball of the foot. They have really made a difference and are helping to heal this pain. I tried other insoles but there was never enough padding in that area. I even bought the little gel foot ball pads & stuck them to the bottom of other insoles. That works but the pads can move around & it's just not a good fix. These insoles stay in place.

These insoles have the added benefit of hard/flexible structure for heel and arch support.

They wear very well and I even throw them in the washing machine & hang dry. They are easy to cut to size. On the bottom of the insoles are lines for different shoe size. You simply take scissors and cut along the line. The fabric lining does not fray on the cut edges.

When I first wore these for running, it really felt like nothing. I didn't ever notice them or feel like they made a difference. The difference I did notice though was when I ran longer distances. My feet used to be a little sore after longer distances, but after running a mini-marathon my feet felt great. Would recommend for those who like running

I purchased these at Walmart for the same price. If you are looking to add a product for Super Saver this would be a good product to add to your cart. I love the cush that it adds to my walking shoes. They fit nicely into your shoes & don't add a lot of bulk.

Honest reviews on Dr. Scholl's Massaging Gel Sport Replacement Insoles (Women's Sizes

I am an avid power walker/jogger. Most of the pressure I put on my feet is in the ball of my foot. So I tend to rub through soles very quickly. These are by far the most comfortable soles I have owned. I was leery at first about whether or not the comfort in the pad would cause too much padding. But I was pleasantly surprised. These soles give me the needed support for the ball of my foot that I need. In addition, these soles have excellent heel and arch support. They are not too bulky and fit snugly into my shoes.

For those who aren't exercising and are just walking around for work or around the house, I would still recommend these. I went from having a ton of pain in my feet, ankles, and calves, to none at all. I love these!

These are super easy to insert and there is an easy guide on where to cut them on the underside of each sole.

I Highly recommend them!

I have one pair of these. I'm not impressed. They are kind of flimsy not much support or cushioning. I walk a lot and I need a good insole to combat the combined effects of age, chronic muscle fatigue and fibromyalgia. Also, my floors are cold and I need the extra insulation in the winter to keep my feet from going cold & numb.

I much prefer the Massaging Gel Work Insoles Dr. Scholl's Massaging Gel Insoles, Men's 8-13, 1 pair (Pack of 2). Those are much more substantial. I have purchased a pair of Work Gel Insoles for every pair of boots, shoes, and slippers I own even my sandals! They make a world of difference, like walking on a cloud!

The only problem is... they're only sold in MEN'S sizes! I'm 5'7" and wear a women's size 9-1/2 to 10 shoe, so I can cut them to size and use them.... but really, Dr Scholl's, women don't "work"? How about offering your MG Work insoles in women's sizes so I can buy them for my hard-working sister who wears a size 6!

I have run in this shoe twice so far with the longer run being 4 miles. I find the shoe a little too roomy in the width so if you have a narrow foot, don't buy it. If you have a wide foot, then it's probably good for you. Based on other reviews, I bought a half size larger and I don't know that I needed it. Wish I had bought my normal size. But other than that, it's fine; don't think I would rush out and buy every color.

Alghouth these were one of the pricey Callaway pairs out there when I could actually buy a pair for less than $50, I liked the cute color on the bottom and the sporty yet sophisticated looks. So I purchased them. They fit very tight in the shoe lace area when they arrived, and I thought I picked a wrong size (I usually do wear 8M). As I didn't have enough time to exchange them, I told myself these were pricey "Callaway"! So I went on to my first golf course lesson that was scheduled a few days after my receipt of the shoes. Once you wear them out in the course and start playing golf, you could tell they were made to fit to your feet perfectly. I could actually hit golf balls better (I'm still a beginner, and my golf instructor pointed that my feet were more stable. Really!). They didn't hurt my feet at all all day.

I love VIBRAMS and this shoe definitely met my expectations. They are extremely flexible and comfortable. I have not had occasion to wear them in a stream situation yet, but in a pool they are fabulous. I am curious to know if sand particles will filter into the shoe. These are not for heavy duty play and will not last long. I like the look, feel and construction, but could use some additional rubber for protection under foot. The shoes did not dry like I believed they would, but work great in water and on hot rocks. The option for sharp or jagged surfaces was a painful experience, but no cuts to report and the foot was protected. I also think more colors should be available since the sun felt like it was concentrated on the tops of these black Vibrams and my feet were cooking on the top. I like this style of shoe and know there's plenty of room for growth and improvement. I will look for the upgraded version to release and give them a try!
