I love VIBRAMS and this shoe definitely met my expectations. They are extremely flexible and comfortable. I have not had occasion to wear them in a stream situation yet, but in a pool they are fabulous. I am curious to know if sand particles will filter into the shoe. If they do, I have my Injinji socks to protect my feet if needed. This shoe is easy to slip into and very comfortable.

These are not for heavy duty play and will not last long. I like the look, feel and construction, but could use some additional rubber for protection under foot. The shoes did not dry like I believed they would, but work great in water and on hot rocks. The option for sharp or jagged surfaces was a painful experience, but no cuts to report and the foot was protected. I also think more colors should be available since the sun felt like it was concentrated on the tops of these black Vibrams and my feet were cooking on the top. I like this style of shoe and know there's plenty of room for growth and improvement. I will look for the upgraded version to release and give them a try!

I have had a number of different Vibram's and I really like the fit of these best. They remind me of the fit of Isotoner gloves and really do feel like you are barefoot. Maintain breathability and dry quickly when wet. I live at a house built over a granite creek so it really works with my lifestyle.
