Nike Men's NIKE LUNARFLY+ 4 RUNNING SHOES Review

Each year the LunarFly, as with nearly all running shoes, goes through something of a reinvention, originally known as the **'Nike Run Avant'** It's always, supposedly 'improved', by adding more bulk of some sort to it, of course to make it better. I started with the original model, the Run Avant, and have kept with the line since, because, as a light weight runner, I didn't need an average shoe. The shoe, over about five years, had evolved into a pretty average stability shoe, aiming for the center of the running market, I'd think--In fact, I couldn't tell much difference between it than the Lunar Glide. But the entire reason I had started to wear the shoe was because it was lighter than average, more cushiony than average, yet was still responsive and comfortable enough to wear the marathon distance. And so with the prior hefty-rendition of the LunarFly I had decided that they 'improved' it too much, and was going to try something totally new, to get away from the averageness in all its characteristics. Nike: If I wanted a Lunar Glide I'd have bought a Lunar Glide.

BUT THEN I searched the specs of the Lunarfly+4. It was as light as the original **Run-Avant** model. The sole looked even more responsive. I took a chance, ordered it while holding my breath, thinking, 'this is the last time I buy a lunarFly shoe!'.

Turns out Nike has finally designed **my** perfect shoe. It has all the qualities I originally enjoyed with the Run-Avant. It's more cushiony than the other models of LunarFly, and surprisingly, thanks to the trimmed down sole, is more responsive, yet just as stable. AND, the shoe is now made with more breathable materials great for summertime running. For me, this is the perfect running shoe, and without a doubt the best of the LunarFly series.

I suppose I will need to order more before Nike starts 'improving' the model again.. because it looks like any changes they make could only have an adverse affect. I just hope they don't start bulking it back up, making it more average..I will be quick to switch models next time.

Review of adidas Men's A.T. 180 Cross-Training Shoe

I know it is annoying to read reviews that do not really help in choosing whether or not to purchase an item so I held off on rating these shoes until I had a decent amount of time to assess them. I have used them for a week now doing various workouts and am loving them.

Right out of the box I really liked them due to really cool color contrast and sleek design of the shoe. The pictures do not do justice and I was blown away with how they looked. A common complaint from people ordering online is that the shoes they get are too tight and need to be sent back. This was not the case with these shoes, though they did feel a bit snug at first. The length of the shoes were just right, but the sides felt like they were pressing a bit too much against the sides of my feet. After spending a bit of time wearing them however, this tightness went away and the shoes were extremely comfortable.

I have used them for running and a bit of weightlifting and have yet to feel uncomfortable in these shoes. The breathable material that these shoes are made out of keeps your feet cool and the lightweight build feels incredible, whatever you are doing. There is a great amount of support in the back for when you are lifting, while the front is curved just right to make running a breeze.

My only concern is with how long these shoes will last. The tongue design has it fixed to the bottom of the shoe, wrapping around the foot instead of being secured only at the toe. I am not familiar with this design and hope it does not prove to ruin the integrity of the shoes.

All in all a fantastic shoe that I am extremely happy with. I would most definitely buy this again if asked and will be recommending it to others.

I have never heard of these shoes and have never seen them, one of the reasons I got them. Getting shoes only happens about once a year for me so I choose a shoe that I will love for a while. This one is defiantly one of my favorites. When I first got them I thought "These look sexy". And it is true, I got the black with blue stripes. I absolutely love the design of the shoes. The inside is a little weird though. The top part of the shoe below the laces is attached to the place your feet are so it creates a sleeve kind of thing but it was fine. I am a size 10.5 U.S. for Nike and got 10 for these Adidas'. The white strip on the bottom is very easy to clean. I just take a bounty, put some water, rub, clean. It is so simple. Another reason this shoe is great is it is very comfortable. My feet can breathe and it feels a bit bare foot although it is not advertised like so. Not only is it a great shoe, but a magnificent price. I go to a shoe store and they are selling some okay looking, kinda comfortable shoes for $100-130 on average. THAT IS CRAZY! Who wants to spend that much money on shoes. $70 is a much better price. Paying $70 for a nice, comfortable, stylish shoes like these is totally worth it.

They are honestly like walking on air. The fit is snug, but breathable, and that's the best part, these breathe so well you can feel the air flow around your feet. I've since retired them and use them while commuting back and forth to work, since my feet tend to sweat, but not any more! These shoes go a long way, the mileage is good, and the feel of the air going through these is really refreshing.

I bought these for Zumba as I had been wearing my Nikes' Musica for over 3 years. The little 'sweet spot' on the bottom has now worn down and I don't have as much traction, and too much slip and slide. These looked stylish, 'slender' and not clunky like the Nike's; but the fit doesn't feel as sturdy. The arch is odd and does not give me security (I have high arches). No problem with narrowing and the size 9 is the right size (Nike I had to go up a size). An odd thing: the laces feel like ribbons, and not cotton laces we know to be on sneakers. They are less expensive than the Nikes, so maybe that is why I feel they are inferior. Wish there was another Zumba sneaker, though. I will return them and get another pair of the clutsy Nikes! Sigh!

These shoes are really light and cute and I thought I might be able to wear them but they are way too narrow and they don't make them in wide. Too bad!! Had to send them back.

I bought these shoes for Zumba so they only really get worn a few times a week. I was a little disappointed when they first arrived. The leather is very stiff so I knew it would take a while to break them in. They are also rather narrow and don't have much of an arch. Plus the laces are kinda cheap, I'm always afraid to tighten them up too much because I'm scared the lace will break! On the plus side, they are very light which is to be expected from a dance shoe. They are now starting to break in and get a little more comfortable, but I don't think I would recommend them or buy them again if needed.

This shoe is truly amazing. The only true high top trail running shoe around, it provides awesome stability and support for the avid trail runner who likes to tackle tough terrain. I recommend these highly as I have a weak ankle and cannot run without them. I do 7 miles per day on steep, rocky terrain and these hold up excellent. May need insoles for comfort.

These shoes are great, I wake up with lower back issues between my paraformis. These shoes are amazing, theres springs in the heels that make it like walking on a cloud. I bought mine in a store in long island, I actually paid $140, the most I have ever paid. Im actually really glad I did because these have really helped my back. It is really like walking on a cloud, I don't feel the shock of hitting the ground.

I do have to say I have had them now for about 5 months, which is a really long time for shoes for me, and the springs are now starting to make clicking noises, like they need maintenance or a tune up. Im not sure if they maintain them, but I will find out. I have worn them EVERY day Monday thru Friday for the last 5 months. I work on ladders all day. I have told all my co-workers about these shoes.

Time to buy my next pair, but please find them online, they are a lot cheaper.

I bought a pair of these shoes. I walk 2.5 miles a day. The shoe lasted three months before stitching on top of shoe came apart. I bought a 2nd pair which lasted only 4 months. Thier CS department was of no help.

Cheap Salomon Men's XR Crossmax 2 Trail Running Shoe

Decent shoe but vastly different from Crossmax 1's. If you are looking at getting these because you love your Crossmax 1's you need to pump the brakes and go try them on somewhere first. The sole is 1/2" narrower which effects stability. The lower cut also makes you feel unstable. Sizing is 1/2 size smaller than Crossmax 1. Fits narrower than Crossmax 1. The new style tongue is awkwardly tall and looks kinda lame. It's too different from previous generation to call Crossmax. I run and backpack in Salomons and I would NOT recommend this particular model.

I was fearful ordering this after reading the various reviews, but as a former Crossmax 1 owner, I've not been displeased in the least with the 2. It's a bit stiffer right now, but no more so than I remember the 1. The grip is superior and does appear to have the increased durability it's supposed to. I find the fit to be the same (and I continue to switch back and forth with my 1s--I'm a forefoot striker, so I'm not particularly concerned with mid-sole break down in the rear--just the tread wear up front, which with the 1's is substantial).

I've been on these almost everyday for six weeks now, and I'm happy. I run only on trails, by the way.

I am a huge fan of Salomon shoes it's the only brand I buy. I fell in love with the orginal Crossmax guidance so when i found out they don't make them anymore i decided to try the crossmax 2. the over all shoe is nice but it fits completely different, it seems to sit a little lower then the previous model so it doesn't seem as snug. So far i've logged about 10 miles on the 2's and they seem to be ok. I don't know why if it ain't broke don't fix it....

The Crossmax 1 was an amazing shoe! This model, corssmax 2, lost depth and volume in comparison to the crossmax 1. My toes were more cramped and it felt like my heel was going to slip out of the shoe. I returned them and went with the XR Mission model which fits more closely to the way the Crossmax 1 did.

I found these sweet shoez for $40! I was looking for an all terrain so that I could walk across rocks and dirt without blowing out the pillow, I was wearing Nike Shapeups for a couple of years and the pillow blew out, Skechers has layers of air and pillow so that doesn't happen. I have owned Skechers for years now and I love them! I bought the Diamondback's to wear while hiking in Europe. They fit a little tight for there size, but other than that, I love wearing them. They are super comfy and the all terrain sole is excellent. They are supportive and work my leg and butt muscles. After wearing them all day, my feet don't hurt, but I can tell that my legs have had a workout. What a great shoe!!!

It is a pretty shoe. It was listed as a shape-up, it has a portion of the rock action of the shape ups but doesn't live up to the shape-ups reputation. It is not cushioned so is uncomfortable to walk in. The mesh and manmade material does not stand up to wear and tear. The quality is a big disappointment. They're not what they used to be. For the money they cost, I wouldn't buy anymore. I don't enjoy being negative but the truth is the truth.
