I bought two pairs of these. One pair red and black and one pair yellow and black. I have tried many shoes for Crossfit and these seem to be what works for my 200lb frame. These shoes are super light, I believe 7oz and they give great support. I love minimalist shoes for their light weight but some of the most popular ones for Crossfit don't give me a wide enough heel for support when jumping etc. The Reebok YourFlex had everything I was looking for, heel support, light weight, and super flexible like most minimalist shoes. I have done numerous Crossfit WODs in them and I am very satisfied. At first I was worried that lifting might be an issue but after several heavy WODs I was sold. Even though they provide ample cushioning for running they are very stable when lifting.

The only thing the shoes need is:

A) That little loop sewn on the tongue your laces go through to keep the tongue straight.

B) Higher Quality laces like the ones by "10-Seconds®"

Since I have used these for Crossfit the whole time I have only one complaint. Short Sprints are sluggish due to the soft flexible sole. Seems squishy. Great for long runs, but bad for sprinting. Same deal with the Nike Free.

Gonna try the NANO 2.0 next.

These are some great running shoes. Comfortable, light, and the soles aren't too thick. I got the yellow ones so sometimes people bring up how brightly colored my shoes are and ask me why "I put tennis balls on my feet". This leads to new friends and good conversation. 5 out of 5, would buy again.

The shoe looks decent so I ordered a pair.

After trying them on I almost put them straight back into the box. They are way uncomfortable and awkward. Nothing close to what I expected. Trying to make due, I purchased a $30 insole set from Dicks and that still didn't help. The design of this shoe is just terrible. My advice to you is to Keep Looking, these shoes aren't worth diddlysquat. I returned my pair today and feel relieved that I can reselect.

My son and I both have wide feet only in the front, I got him a pair, black, to see how they felt to him. He loves then, they are light comfortable, awesome flat laces and he says they help him run really fast. So I got myself a pair. I wear a 7 1/2 in women's the 5.5 is great but not as wide as I expected through the toes in the larger size. They are comfortable lightweight easy to move in. I will be getting my son another pair.

Best shoe I ever found. I've had 15 pair of Brooks Addiction in 15 years. Wear out a pair a year walking. I have straight not curved feet and this straight lasted shoe is the only shoe I can wear anymore. The super thick soles absorb all shock, and the shoes are light as a feather.

The Addiction 9 is a great shoe for over-pronators. The only reason I rated a 4 instead of a 5 star was the wearing of the soles. I am a heel stricker and have always been tough on the heels. But the Addiction 7 soles never presented a wearing problem for me. The 8 & 9 models evidently have some different sole material. Brooks has not answered my question concerning the issue. Bring back the Addiction 7 soles and slap it on the Addiction 9! I will log about 1800 miles this year and try to change the shoes every 500 miles. My current pair is at 300 miles and the heels are badly worn. Amazon did their usual great job of getting the goods to me before the expected arrival date!

I have had these shoes for only 6 months and I don't wear them daily. It is very dissapointing that they have developed a hole where the mesh meets the front of the shoe. I have 2 other pairs of Addiction Walkers and they have been excellent.These shoes are comfortable and true to size, but they clearly lack durability for a $100+ shoe.

I figured that after having these shoes for a year, it was time to write my review. I personally get tired of reading reviews where the owner has only had them a few weeks, or worse a few days. For me, it is how it holds up over time. Overall these are fantastic shoes. I cannot give them a five for one reason, mine make noise. They made noise ofter only a couple of days. I think it is from the stabilizer bar. It is not a lot of noise, most of the time you don't even notice it. However, it is very noticeable when you walk through a library, which I do often. That is my only issue. These were comfortable straight out of the box, and still are. I know these are running shoes, but I wear them daily. I am also a big guy, 6' and 275lbs. I am very hard on shoes. These have help up very well. I ordered them last August and I currently have them on my feet. I have recently ordered another pair of Brooks shoes to replace these. I am keeping them however to do yard work. They are starting to have holes wear in the mesh around my pinky toes. This wear is great considering that I literally where them every single day. The stabilizer works great. After a year of usage there is almost no difference in the way my foot gets planted as I walk. The mesh is nice too, very cool in the summer. However, it also lets the cold air through if you wear them in colder climates (not a complaint, just saying). I also still have the original laces in them. This is a little thing, but it is good to know that the laces that come with the shoes lasted me over a year with daily use. Despite the wholes rubbing in the mesh, these are too good to throw out, hence them being yard work shoes now. If their other shoes are as good as these, then Brooks has found a loyal customer. Overall, these are very good shoes, and well worth the price.

My son really likes the look of this shoe, however, after 2 weeks, the toes are really scuffed, the design on the sides of the soles is rubbing off & the black part of the tread is separating from the rest of the bottom. And yes, my son is extremely rough on his shoes, but what 8 year old boy isn't? Also, we had to replace the laces due to them being too short for him to be able to double-knot. I love New Balance but am very disappointed with these. They definitely won't be around for very long.

These shoes are flexible and lightweight. They also look really cool. My son loves wearing them. They do run larger than his DCs and Sketchers though by about 3/4in. I was surprised at how big they were when we got them. But He's a growing kid and he didn't want to wait for a smaller pair in the mail so we held on to them.

This is a very pretty shoe and I so wanted it to work. This is a pretty shade of pink and a very nice Nubuck finish with a comfortable low heel. I have narrow feet and am a true 7.5, but these would really need to be an 8 to work comfortably for me. I love t run and also to try the different brands and models. I have been running with Mizuno lately but this model it's very heavy. If you walk or run short distance is fine, but if you run long, you should try lighter ones like wave nirvana o wave creation. I'm also a size 9 in adidas, asics, etc. but here (with all the mizuno) I'm a 9 ½. I run 15 -20 miles or more every other day.

These Solomon shoes have great support, waterproofing and a cool look (better than the photo), and Amazon has the best price.

As soon as I put them on I realized how little support I was getting from my old shoes. I'm not a runner, but wear these for brisk walks and walking my dogs in all types of weather. That's why the waterproofing is so important to me. Plus, the quick lacing system is a real advantage, keeping shoes snug and eliminating messy shoe laces in wet conditions.

I first tried these shoes on at Dsw and loved how they fit my feet so I went shopping online for a better price and found them here slightly cheaper. I normally wear an 8.5 or 9 in athletic shoes but surprisingly I felt fine in the 8. I have wide feet but the shoe fabric hugs my feet just right, it is stretchy and flexible. I wear them all the time from exercising to running errands so I definitely love em and would buy again.

Corns, calluses from many years of working on feet have made it difficult to find a good pair of shoes that are both comfortable and allow me to get through the day without feeling exhausted. I actually love crocs for the same reason, but since they are considered a clog am not allowed to wear them at my current job. These sneakers best points are their flexibility and that they are extremely lightweight but do have enough thickness in the sole to give you the stability and protection for the workplace.

Bought three pairs of these laces directly from welovecolors all three pairs have such fat tips that they wouldn't fit through the eyelets on ANY of the shoes (Nike, Reebok, etc) that I tried. Their customer service person told me that ALL of their laces have the same tips. So if you have normal eyelets on your normal shoes, it's pretty much guaranteed that these won't fit your shoes. I'm awaiting their return label so that I can send back these useless laces.

Colored laces for some reason have become impossible to find in a retail store so I'm very thankful for finding these laces & the variety of colors available. I love asics. They fit my foot the moment I put them on. I run 20-25 miles a week. I train for every distance. I had the DS Trainer 16 & 17. I have tried other asics in between (2170's and Kayano 19) but returned each for the trainers. They are lightweight and have lots of room in the toe box. I have bunions so that is a plus. I wear a 9.5 in regular shoes but buy my trainers in a 10.5 because I do get blisters on top of my toes. If you are not prone to blisters, then a half size up would probably do well for you. The color is awesome. The last two pairs of trainers were UGLY and drab. These are beautiful, hip and colorful. You won't forget me as I pass you by! I DO have custom insoles so I am able to put them in and go. I ran 6 miles this morning and have decided to run my half marathon in 3 days in them because they felt so good. In regards to the new styling. I love it as well. Again, the past versions were not so pretty to look at. I wore them ONLY to run in. These I wear all the time which is a no no because I can't track milage but they are so darn cute, I can't help myself. No matter if you buy them to run in or just want some really great looking bright shoes, you won't be disappointed! Go for it.

I love Asics running shoes this was pair #6. But this shoe was not true to size it had to be a half size too small. My other Asics all still fit so my foot hasn't grown but I couldn't wear these. :-(

I've been running in DS Trainers for more than 10 years. They're good stability shoes and I find that they have wider toeboxes than Nike, Brooks, and Mizuno. I trained for the Twin Cities Marathon with the DS 17s and then switched to the 18s for the last couple weeks, plus raceday. The 18s have a slightly looser fit, especially in the heel area of the footbed. I felt as though my ankle slipped out a little bit on each stride. I didn't get blisters, so it wasn't problematic, just a slight variation I noticed between the 17s and 18s.
