I've worn Karhu Strongs for two years -for crossfit workouts -and find them the most comfortable. It's almost like they propel me forward. I recommend trying them on; after only a few steps they'll probably feel different than any other shoe you've used.

Cheap ASICS Women's GEL-Equation 5 Running Shoe
I am really picky about shoes but I needed a new pair of casual shoes and decided to order these. They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I was a Skechers fan forever. For years that's all I would buy/wear but I have a new shoe now! The main thing is they are light and well made.

I really like these shoes and like that I can purchase a half size (not available in stores near me). I do a lot of high impact aerobics and have had problems with heel pain and these seem to support, but give me enough flexibility to comfortably move around. I bought these about 6 months ago. I love Asics and am happy with these (although I wished they hadn't stretched out quite so fast.) I run about 6+ miles a week on the treadmill and do aerobic dance or ellipticals at the gym occasionally. I underpronate slightly and have medium-high arches and after doing some research online I decided these would probably work well. They are comfortable and cute. Like I said before, they have lost their original stiffness and the cushioning has worn done quite a bit but I laced them a little tighter and still get some use out of them. I bought this very same shoe about 2 years ago. Loved them. Couldn't find the same shoe when it was time to buy another so I bought another pair of asics. They were good, but I kept going back to my old shoes. They are way too worn out to be walking in. Someone suggested looking on amazon to see if they still had this shoe and was so happy to see them. And, yes, they are just as comfy as the first pair, except I need to break them in a little. This is a good walking shoe for someone with a wide, flat foot.
Onitsuka Tiger Tai Chi Fashion Sneaker Review
I bought these shoes for my Tai Chi class, because no other shoes I own seemed to work right to complete the movements correctly and balance myself comfortably on the wood floor surface. The thin sole of these shoes lets me feel the floor effectively, while also providing sufficient cushioning so my feet don't ache. I wear a women's size 6 and the men's size 5 fits me just fine, with enough room to wear socks. I would recommend these shoes for anyone who's taking Tai Chi.
They even work well as driving (manual transmission) shoes as its better to have a certain amount of feel through the pedals, and a thin shoe allows that.
As for sizing, I would personally recommend 1/2 a size smaller than your normal shoe size. A word of caution for those of you with wide feet.. the shoes are much wider towards the front, so you don't want the widest part of your foot seated too far back. I think if you get them too large, your feet will not fit the contours correctly and could potentially create some width issues. I have wide feet and 1/2 a size smaller seems to work just fine.

Right off the bat. These shoe's are as light as a feather and perfect for what I bought them for.. Parkour. Although they may have been made for 'Tia Chi', they make excellent shoes for Parkour and Free Running. They are light, grip really well, and have a thin sole that allows you to really 'feel the ground'..... However, if you plan on getting these shoes there's something you should know about the sizing. I was very confused and scared about ordering a size 11 when I range from 10.5-11.5..... I figured I'd be safe ordering in the middle, but I should've gone with 10.5. They still fit perfectly fine, but I have some toe room. Which I didn't really want. So I was extremely angry at shoe companies for being so inconsistent with sizing, 10.5 converse, 11 Vans, 11.5 in a lot of other shoes. These shoe sizes would most compare closest to Converse. So If you own a pair of chuck taylors, then use that shoe size as a guide. I wish more people on Amazon clarified the sizing. Either way, a little toe room or not, I'm still able to do what I want in these shoes and happily. Not only is this one of the best martial arts shoes available. But fits the definition of an everyday minimal shoe. The leather is soft and lasting and the sole has decent traction. Don't be put off by the thin rubber contact patch, its by design minimal. This is a wonderful shoe for Tai Chi. I have narrow feet so it is hard to find shoes to fit. I was pleasantly surprised to find how this shoe hugs my feet. It is a must for anyone practicing Tai Chi. They are comfortable, light weight and help to feel the movements without being clumsy. Recommend them highly.

I really loved the look and concept of these shoes. Neutral shoe with accent colors that pop! I'm used to the vibrant five finger shoes and thought these might work well for hiking and trail running they have a sturdy griping sole. Unfortunately, I found the fit terribly awkward. I am usually a 9, but a 9.5 in running shoes. I first ordered the 9.5. The ankle and mid foot area felt snug just standing, but the toe box was too wide. As I walked it would cause an uncomfortable slip forward. I ordered up half a size thinking this would prevent my toes bumping and rubbing the front of the shoe. But experienced the same problem. I have not had this issue in other minimalist style closed-toe shoes. The toe area was so wide I was concerned it would lead to tripping on the trail. They appear to be high quality. I'm sure they're great for some, simply didn't work for me!

I liked these a lot, but they were a size too small, which was my own fault because I usually wear a 39 in an EU size. I ignored the measuring. I should have had a size 40. I did try them on and really liked the way they looked and felt. My purpose was to have a house slipper because I usually walk around on hardwood floors barefoot and have calluses to prove it. I wanted a shoe I could feel barefoot in and that I wouldn't have to put off and on like a house slipper. And I wanted to be able to move around the way I can when barefoot. Unfortunately, I had to send these back and have not found my size in them at a low enough price. But i highly recommend the shoe and am still looking for my size.

Like a previous version of this shoe I bought, there were some minor pressure points in the insert but seemed to disappear after wearing a couple of times. i bought these for my 10 year old. He is active but not overly active or crazy with shoes. I bought them in February so in Minnesota, we had snow through May. He alternated snowboots and these shoes. The right shoe got a huge hole on the side by the end of May. I just bought him another pair (although not through AMAZON because i bought them in February for 31 dollars and now on AMAZON they are up to 54.99 or so, and I will not spend that much on shoes for my son if they are only going to last 3 months. I bought the SAME exact pair, same size (his feet did not grow much) so I will see how long these last .. it is summer but if these get a hole, then it is the shoe. None of his other shoes ever had a hole like that.... could be a fluke. Overall though, he loves the shoe and they do fit pretty good. my AFO, but there is still enough cushion to make them very comfortable while wearing. I plan to by another pair, in white, for a future Disney vacation with my grandkids. All in all, a very good shoe for the price.

Having recently becoming an AFO wearer, I had to get some shoes that would accomodate my orhotic. My shoe size went from a 12-1/2 4E to a 13 6E. I had a pair of shoes that I obtained through my orthotic maker and covered by my insurance, but they are tie type and ugly. These Drew's (2nd pair I've owned) are stylish and easy to put on and take off, with the velcro straps. I have to remove all of the inserts, to accomodatemy AFO, but there is still enough cushion to make them very comfortable while wearing. I plan to by another pair, in white, for a future Disney vacation with my grandkids. All in all, a very good shoe for the price.

Cheap Zoot Women's Ultra Kane Running Shoe
I absolutely love these shoes! I learned about Zoot about 2 months ago and I don't think I will ever go with a different brand. I'm using these to train for a full marathon and my only complaint is that I feel like I need more cushion after 12-13 miles. I have unusually high arches so it may just be that I need a little more arch support. I highly recommend when training for a road race!

I love that there's no tongue to get shoved in when I pull on this shoe. The first time I ran in them, I did get a blister on a back heel but that was because my sock had ridden down and the skin rubbed. I don't run in these shoes sock-less and I've fixed the sock problem so that doesn't happen anymore. The shoes took a little getting used to, my arches were achy the first couple weeks. But otherwise, they're great. I was instantly able to jump up from my plateau of 3 to 5 miles and a month later, I'm up to 6-8, three times a week.
I will definitely buy this shoe again and look into this brand's other offerings.

Very happy with these shoes. They look great and feel even better. The upper is so soft and stretchy, good arch support, like walking on a cloud. I just slip them on, so they are easy, comfortable, and very cool looking. I don't run, but I walk everyday. You don't need to run a marathon to wear them. I've never heard of this brand but I guess these shoes are made for sock-less running and triathlons. They were on sale ($40) so I gave them a shot. People said they were snug with a really wide toebox and I'm a 5 1/2 but the only size left was a 6. My feet are flat but they're not considered wide. I was concerned since I think the shoe is flatter than the typical running shoe and that's where the concern about tight fit came in. My toes do have adequate wiggle room and they do offer great support. I purchased these because of the high ratings they received and the good (discounted) price. I am a triathlete and so I thought that these by Zoot would be perfect. While the fit was good and they look cool, I found that the medial toe box/metatarsal area was quite wide. What I mean is that the medial portion of the shoe sticks out and so when running and walking, I kept rubbing my feet together. Granted, I have a narrow gait, but this is the first pair of shoes I have ever owned that regularly hit together while running and walking causing me to almost fall multiple times. If you have a wider base of support/gait, you'll probably be fine. I have been using my new running shoes for a few weeks now and I love them. The only problem is that wearing them without socks is pretty painful and created some blisters in the inside of my heel but they are light and I bought them at a great price!

These shoes felt really good, light, comfortable and flexible for the first three miles I travelled in them. Then I felt like there was some gravel at the back outside of my right heel. Checked it out 3 times before realizing it was the stitching in the shoe there is a hard lump at the top of the shoe at that point. The other three similar points on the same pair of shoes are soft and not a problem. Can't use these because of that one flaw.
I will definately look for more shoes like these!

They are so lightweight which really helps me with running and there is enough padding for my feet and love the mesh that allows my feet to breathe! I bought these shoes because i wanted to start running and needed something that wouldn't cost an arm and a leg. I live in Texas hill country and i am running on concrete up and down steep hills constantly. These shoes are great! I used to get shin splints really badly with my old shoes but have never experienced that with these.
