Had these for about 2 weeks now. We are so happy with the fit as we have been worried about our girl's feet. Really tend to lean in. Ordered these and some Stride Rites and watched her walk in both. The best part are the inserts. Although you pay a bit more (and in some cases the same), but you basically are getting 2 pairs of shoes for the price of one. Machine washable, durable. Fantastic shoes

I ordered these for my boyfriend because he started running and was still using really old shoes. I researched running shoes for men with back pain and this was on the list as well as a few others. These were the best priced and he loves Adidas. He said he instantly felt relief in his feet and he loves the ventilation factor as well. He said that he has not felt too much of the relief in his back yet but he can tell from the affect it has on his feet, that the back relief will soon come. Great shoe, great price, great look.
Anyway, this shoe is quite light and looks good. It has a lot of cushion in under the ball of your foot, but not much arch support. I will probably try and get an arch supporting insole and give it another shot (my arches are a little high). When I run I very quickly develop a pain on the outside edge of the sole of my foot that I haven't had with any other shoes. Like, within the first mile. I'm not sure exactly what causes it but I simply can't use these shoes for running.
Anyway, since I don't like running in this, I use it for walking and everyday use. It's quite comfortable and works well for that purpose.
I'm not saying this shoe is not good, only that it was not good for my foot. Kind of sad, actually, because I like everything about is except the way my feet feel after I run. Unfortunately I could not have told you it wouldn't work for me without actually going for a run. Just trying these on they feel quite comfy.

I bought this shoe because I'm seeking a cushion shoe for running. The last shoe I had that I really liked was an adidas climacool, first generation. It was actually quite different from the current climacools, with a pretty soft cushion and it doesn't try and prevent pronation. If anything I tend to underpronate. ASICS Women's Matchplay 33 Golf Shoe Review
I wear an 8 1/2 wide or 9. Got them in a 9 and they fit perfect! Very well made and nice to look at. I bought them to play golf in and they are awesome. Lightweight and very comfy from the first day. I've had them a little over a month now and they just get more comfortable. I play 18 holes 2 times a week and have never had a problem. Just like wearing you favorite comfy tennis shoes. Ladies if you want a nice pair of comfortable golf shoes that look and feel good these are them!

I am a big fan of ASICS shoes--especially the Gel type. However, the ASICS golf shoes are lacking good arch support and are hard on the balls of my feet. This was a huge problem since I usually walk the golf course instead of using a cart. I needed to purchase gel inserts and had to use my orthotic inserts to make these shoes "more golf friendly." I ordered both colors of this golf shoe. The sizing runs the same as the Asic running shoes. A very comfortable and light weight shoe to wear on the course! I am a 25 to 30 mile a week runner, I was a loyal (any) running shoe fan, But decided to give Brooks a shot after my wife was such a fan.... I wear neutral shoes so I thought changing shoes would not be a big deal. So my first pair of Brooks I purchased the Ghost 3,I ran in these for about 6-7 months going through 2 pair seem like a great shoe light and felt great. Then I purchased the update which was the Ghost 4 and I immediately noticed the difference, did not feel the same as the Ghost 3 .... Not to be critical of the Ghost 4 model but, my feet had comformed to the Ghost 3 and the change was noticeable. I decided to look for a couple of pair of the Ghost 3 to buy could not find my size ....I went to a running store to try on different shoes to try and get that feel again of the Ghost 3, after trying on different brands I tried on the Glycerin 9 by Brooks and this was the greatest feeling shoe I had ever tried on...Any avid runner will know what feeling I had because it was almost therapeutic. I know this is my experience and may not translate to anyone else but, if you are looking for the best ride you ever had in a neutral running shoe the Glycerin 9 is the shoe for you. Insanity and P90X workouts require lots of jumping in every direction. The main reason why I bought these over other Brooks and Nikes was because of the front cushion that almost all shoes under $85 don't have. My arches were killing me doing Insanity and now they don't. There are many other positives including long shoe-life, comfort, breatheablity, etc that other reviews say.Highly recommend to friends and family.

I put these shoes through some abuse and they are hands down best shoe for me. I will start with a little bit about me. I am 5'6, 170lbs, 8.5 shoe size, an 11:20 mile and a half, I have P.F, regular archs, with heel spurs and under pronantion. I took a huge risk buying these shoes before Officer Candidate School (OCS) but I did a lot of research and these shoes kept popping up so I bought them with a pair of Asics. In OCS we run about 20 miles a week and go through very intense training. I wore these the first 8 weeks and all of my aches and pains were gone, it was like running on clouds. I love these shoes! I have run this series since the Glycerin III and have always had good luck. The Glycerin 9 is by far my favorite yet. It provides lots of cush and comfort without being too soft and is still relatively light. The shoes also look as good as they feel. I may buy another pair now I like them so much.

my friend still wears these, they're more for fashion than running though so if you were buying these for running shoes you should look into something else

The curvature of the sole and its tread gave me the extra push.

They feel as if they are part of my foot,
-And they look better than most running shoes.
In my humble opinion.
Overall: Out of all the shoes Ive owned these ranked highest in comfort and functionality. They are so good I just had to share a positive review.

Ive owned a pair for over a year now and all I can say is that these shoes are my favorite. At first I thought these were basketball sneakers but they are made for running, however, they are actually good for all sports, walking and jogging.Here's a list of how great they are.

Buy Salomon Trail Gaiters Low
I have used these sucessfully for hundreds of miles of trail running through mud, rocks, sticks, weeds and even deep snow. They are very lightweight and pair well with Solomon shoes although I suspect they would fit well on any running shoe. One got torn on thorn bushes but it was easily fixed with duct tape. They have never fallen off or let any debris into my shoes. Highly recommend

Simple and functional. Wore these for the first time at back-to-back weekend trail races. They kept the dirt and dust out the furst day. On the second day they kept the mud and pebbles out. Discount ASICS Women's GEL-Kinsei 4 Running Shoe
The BEST athletic shoes EVER!!!!!!!!! I have a fused ankle, and wear custom orthotics...two things that make any pair of shoes uncomfortable....until I finally decided to give in and spend a fortune on my Asics Gel Kinsei shoes. Arch support = AWESOME; Comfort = AWESOME; Nice looking athletic shoe = AWESOME. To be honest, this is the best quality athletic shoe I have ever purchased! Yes, these shoes are VERY expensive. However, following 5 surgeries on my ankle if this is the price I have to pay for quality made/built shoes that will support every inch of my foot/ankle properly and help prevent further injury or trauma...well then the cost of this shoe is a small price to pay. And, for all of you out there who also have "problem feet" these shoes are endorsed by the American Podiatric Association, which means they have the seal of approval from foot and ankle specialists. If that's not enough, I went from having incredibly intense foot pain after beginning to walk following my ankle fusion, to having NO foot pain once I started wearing my Asics Gel Kinsei shoes.
You cannot go wrong with these shoes...I don't understand how anyone could have a negative opinion of them! If you're unsure go to your local specialty shoe store and try a pair on...but please make sure your feet are properly measured! Believe it or not many of us have been wearing the wrong size of athletic shoes for years!!! (even if they're our typical size). While you may wear one size to get a comfortable or "snug" fit in dressy shoes, when purchasing athletic shoes you should actually go up at least a half, to preferably a full size! Your feet need that extra room to allow for full biomechanical range of motion when walking or running. I didn't believe it either...but now that I've gone up a size, these are (even more so) the most comfortable shoes I have EVER put on my feet! I for one will be purchasing a new pair of Asics Gel Kinsei shoes at least once a year. Believe me I know they're expensive, but once you try them, you'll understand exactly what I mean! You'll never have to search the internet (or every shoe store in your state) again for the perfect athletic shoe! Your feet will definitely thank you! ....mine have! :-)
For reference: I wear a women's size 10 in other types of shoes besides sneakers. I have narrow feet, freakishly long toes, bony ankles and exaggerated arches. Because of the long second toe, I usually get a 10.5 in sneakers since sneakers dont have the same amount of room in the toe area as pumps, peep toes, or sandals.
These shoes provide enough cushion to support my arches, a low top that doesn't bother my protruding ankles, and are narrow enough that going a half size up didn't make them too roomy on the sides.
If you have normal toes and wider feet, I would recommend trying Brooks, as my boyfriend has this foot type and swears by them. However, if you have narrow feet I would give these a try and make sure to go a half size up if you have really long toes.

My 21 year old asked me to be her partner in the upcoming Disney Princess Half Marathon ... I have always been physically active, but knew that I had to step up my routine in order to be able to compete. A long time ASICS fan, I treated myself to the Gel-Kinsei after reading the reviews. From the very first time I laced them, I was able to run for miles no rubbing, or irritation no need to "break them in". Definitely worth the money, and the fact that they are different colors sparks conversation wherever I go. Bought these shoes thinking I had plantar fasciitis but Doc said tendonitis and that Asics Kayanos were the better stable fit. He was right. I'm keeping these just for short trips or casual wear but my every day workout shoes will be the Kayanos 18..better than the 19 even.

These run a little large (maybe 1/2 size) but that was great for me since I like to wear thicker socks. We have occasional golf outings after work and I can wear these all day, really comfortable. Second time out wearing these was an 18-hole game in the pouring rain. The shoes held up great kept my feet dry and stayed remarkably clean.

I wear a 10 and size 42 was perfect; size 41 too snug. Changed the insert d/t my high arches. AMAZINGLY comfortable shoes out of the box! I'm a walker on a hilly course no problem. Wet conditions no problem. More rounded toe box than similar styles from FJ or Addidas, which I like. Love not changing shoes & being able to wear them off the course helps to 'rationalize' the expense, so I bought another pair! I had been having trouble with my back and decided if it was good enough for Freddie Couples it was good enough for me. I asked for these for my Birthday in January and my sweetie was good enough to get them for me. They are perfect. I wear a 7 1/5 to 8 but the size 38 is perfect. So they run a bit small. I have worn them twice a week since January and they are so comfortable I forget I have them on sometimes.Have the white with blue cleats. They are well worth the extra money. I know a couple of other companies are now doing the same kind of shoe, but I found these to be the most comfortable on my back.
