Shoes fir perfect and are very light. They breath very well and the toe box gives just enough room without causing your toes to slide around.

This is the first pair of shoes in recent memory that I have gotten NUMEROUS unsolicited compliments on. "Hey, I really like those shoes!" says a co-worker. They feel great; really light and flexible, yet cushy. Saucony is my new favorite brand of running shoes.

As soon as I put this item on I knew that I had made the right selection. They were so comfortable! I also felt a bit taller, which, being height-challenged, was an extra benefit I didn't expect. With my feet being so flat and narrow, I was taking a big chance ordering these sneakers through the mail. I didn't want to pick the wrong size, and have to go through the hassle of returning them (probably at my own expense) for a different size. The width isn't the problem (a B or N), it's the length. I can wear sneakers anywhere from 8.5 to 10, depending on the style. My last pair was a 9, and they are actually a little bit short. I went with the 9.5 this time, and they are perfect. I haven't worn them too much yet, as I try to avoid inclement days while they are new. They are very comfortable all day long, and at $41 with free shipping, they were a great bargain.

I'm a big man, 6'8" 390. Peripheral neuropathy and a condition called 'hammertoe' in my feet. I'm also on immune suppressants for another disease I have in addition to diabetes. I can ill afford nail infections.

These shoes are awesome. I can feel my feet in them in a good way. I've worn them for about three months and no infections. No problems with 'hammertoe', in fact my toes look better.

The toe area is very wide, enough so my toes dont feel squeezed. My toes actually extend in these shoes. Notso with all shoes, some my toes feel crammed in but not these Drews. My shoes are now broke in and there is no slipping in the heel area like when I first recieved them. Love them! (this paragraph added about a month after the shoes were 'broke in')

I rotate these with a pair of ASIC gel walkers, one day Drews one day ASICS. Love em both.

I wish this was a better shoe. First, the tongue of the shoe is not lose. The tongue is sown down so that you can't lift it to get your foot in or out. Secondly, I know that computer screens vary and colors can seem off but the peachy color is actually really pink. Needless to say I will be returning :(

The shoe looks great in person. I love the toning action the shoe implementations I can feel it working on my calves. I wear a 7 wide, so I ordered an 8M and it's still a little tight. Also the height of the shoe once your foot is in it is a little short...the tongue gaps a bit between the lace sides at the top.

I've been wearing the Mirages for a few years. I absolutely adore the new Mirage 3, and I like the changes that were made. The shoe is very light. It breathes well and provides just enough cushioning to make for fast and comfortable runs. I think this is the perfect link between traditional and minimalist running shoes.

I have had a history of running injury (bilaterial tibial stress fractures). Relearning how to run has been a difficult process for me, slow and arduous. I have spent a lot of time working on my form and decided it was time for a new pair of running shoes. These are great for me -they have support and a minimal (4 mm) drop. Making them the perfect transition shoe (for me!) to dropless shoes or barefoot running, which is an eventual goal.

They look great and fit well. I am grateful for this investment and my shins thank me too! Since purchasing them, I have consistently felt better while running. Granted, we're all different, so anyone looking at running shoes, I would recommend a visit to your local running store to be properly fit.

Bought these shoes a few weeks ago, usually go for the Nike Frees or 5.0 as I love the light weight, more natural feel of them. After sustaining an impact injury on my heel after running a half marathon shortly after having my second baby, I had to find a new shoe with more support for my heels. I love that they provide the extra support while not weighing me down or feeling too heavy on my feet. Overall I love them, and I love the bright colors as well

This shoe is the closest I could come to when wanting a shoe that fits and feels like a running shoe. The heel fits very snugly and you can feel the cushion in the heel and forefoot, not just the heel alone. I have been looking for a court shoe that provides stability for lateral movement yet wasn't super heavy (all leather) and had plenty of cushioning. I FINALLY found one that I love as much as my Asics running shoes. I should note that I didn't start off with only trying on the Asics even though they are the shoe of my choice. I tried on every brand and model I could find of all the brands so I could truly not overlook any court shoe. I tried on just about every single court shoe I could find from local sporting good stores to three different tennis shops. This shoe fits the bill perfectly for me! KSwiss, New Balance, Nike, Prince all felt like the toe box was too wide for me and Babolat felt much to tight in the toe box. Additionally none of them had the same cushioning as these Asics do. The toe box on these court shoes aren't huge so my foot fits snugly. My feet are very average in width. I would also mention that when you walk in the shoe you don't feel like it "buckles" around your toes. It's a very flexible shoe and doesn't need any "break in" time.

Pros

-------------

1) Tried and true NB fit. I have always worn a single NB size and this shoe is no exception. Perfect fit to size provided you already know what New Balance size fits you.

2) Soft as a pillow. At first I was expecting some rough feel since this is a fairly heavy shoes and meant for trails but after wearing it for a week, it's quite amazing. Extremely soft feel on every step during trail hiking.

3) Never got tired feet with this shoes. Great feel and wears much lighter than the picture would indicate. It looks bulky and the specs shows a normal to heavy shoes but wears like a feather.

Cons

------------

1) Not the cheapest of shoes.

2) Bulking looking.

Note

-----------

This review is based on my walking/hiking experience in this shoes and not running.

I picked these up as really my only option. I like a wide toe box on my shoes, most shoes have gone away from that so that leaves me buying a 2E width. This was really the only trail runner I could find in that size. Its got too much padding/stability built in for my tastes and too much heal lift. I knew that going in, but it was my only option. Took them on my first hike this weekend and the tread blocks are already ripping off or pealing. Given, this was a rocky wash and would be tough on any shoe. But this is the worst wear I have seen on any of my New Balance shoes. The quality and fit have been heading down hill for the past two years. If you don't want a barefoot type running shoe, you have almost no options. If you are going to stick to roads and dirt/light duty trails, they may hold together. But you better like all the stability stuff built in, I actually find them a little odd feeling on pavement.

So I bought these shoes knowing that I would eventually use them to do some trail-running.. eventually. As in after they got a little dirty. They are great shoes with a lot of support and a solid look. Only ran in them a few times and they have not disappointed. Also great support and traction for hiking. Check em out. Good shoe. Also they are true to NB size

Honest reviews on New Balance Men's MT910 Trail Running Trail Running Shoe

I have flat, wide feet and have always had trouble finding shoes that fit. The best I could hope for is that the shoe would not hurt for too long and that it will eventually stretch out. These shoes, though, fit great right from the start. It's amazing, the extra little grip I get as I scrabble over moss-covered rock and root and they make all the difference when it comes to trail running (these are not hugely technical trails, but they can easily twist an ankle). My only complaint, for which I will not remove any stars, is that they are a little gaudy. Luckily, a few trips through the swamp took care of that. Besides, if I trip, fall, and am eaten by wild things, at least there's a chance someone will spot my shoes.

I have now purchased two pairs of this shoe, one from another seller and the second from Amazon. First let me say that I love the fit it cradles the foot nicely without being too tight. When my first pair started to come apart on the outside of the shoe where the foot creases during push off, I thought, "Well, I've put in 400 or so tough trail miles with a lot of climbing, I guess that's enough. Prior to these, I had had a pair of Montrail Mountain Masochists that I must have put 800 1,000 miles on! Too many I know, but they lasted really well. I ordered a second pair of Fluidfeels as they fit so comfortably, and these ones have split in exactly the same place on the outside at the foot crease. Except these ones have done no more than 250 miles. That's just not enough out of a shoe, especially when I am already going through a pair of shoes every couple of months with high mileage. So, 2 stars for very poor value for an otherwise comfortable shoe.

First let me sayI love these shoes.

They have great cushion and grip. I've ran in rain, snow, mud, etcthey stood up to everything and performed well. They do well on moderately technical trails and long stretches of road/ hard packed trail. Comfortable all over with plenty of room in the toe boxnever felt stiff like trail shoes sometimes do. Could not ask for more.

But...

6 months into having these shoes and running in them once to twice a weekthe upper near pinky toe area blew out completely. tried patching them up with some moleskin but it was a no go. I had to talk to local run store I bought them at and luckily got a new pair. I also agree somewhat with what the previous poster said about the construction of the inner. There were definitely some rough spots. Felt like some of the stiff plastic was uncovered. I took the laces out and trimmed it down and never had an issue.

Bottom line: great shoe that has it's issues. I hope the next version has some improvements in the areas I mentionedneeds more of a focus on quality. Gave it three stars because no shoe should blow out after six months of moderate wear.

Best Deals on Montrail Men's FluidFeel Trail Running Shoe

Definitely like the fit and comfort. Good cushioning support. Alot brighter than expected but with a lace change they should be fine

Honest reviews on Montrail Men's FluidFeel Trail Running Shoe

This is a nicely made shoe with good volume in the toe box. The sole is a dense, light, blown rubber running from heal to toe. The top of the shoe is a weave which allows the foot to breath. There is a good solid feel with the ground. This is increased by the heal to toe elevation which is very moderate. Styling is good and it appears a quality shoe. I returned the shoe because its straight design did not accommodate my pronation and I was looking for a more active sole. If your looking for a rather traditional sneaker feel to your shoe I would give these a try.

Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Montrail Men's FluidFeel Trail Running Shoe

As soon as I put these highly rated shoes on my immediate impression was these are the worst feeling shoes I have ever put on. What is wrong? What is wrong is that the tongue is poorly designed and sewed onto the inside of the shoe so that it digs into the top side of your foot. The material is not finished and it is very rough. Thicker socks help somewhat, but.

Not only were these shoes mad in China but they must have been designed there too.

I have feet that were born to hurt. I'm 6'5" and much of my life (though not now) I have been overweight. To make matters worse, although I wear size 13-14 shoes, I have a very light bone structure and a high arch. This is a recipe for plantar fasciitis, which I have "enjoyed" for more than twenty years. In that time, I have tried custom hard-plastic orthotics from a couple of podiatrists. Without exception, they were horribly uncomfortable and the slow, patient adaptation process recommended by the prescribers did not help me tolerate them. I then went the other way, to ultra-soft Dr. Scholl's silicone inserts that felt great in the morning but provided no support as the day wore on. My next attempt was heat-molded insoles from Sole. I found that those didn't really mold well to my feet despite my meticulous attention to the instructions. Further, they were seriously stiff in the midfoot and, at least for my feet, the arch support was too far forward. Not as uncomfortable as the hard plastic orthotics but still no improvement over plain shoes.

I was at the point of giving up when a shoe salesman suggested that I try the Superfeet footbeds. I selected the Copper model and they arrived promptly. I removed the thin foam rubber liners in my shoes and used them as templates to cut the Superfeet to size. If you do this, you need to know that the forefoot of the Superfeet insert is made of some very tough stuff. You're going to need heavy kitchen or shop shears to cut them. Attempting the trimming process with ordinary household scissors will leave you with sore hands and sprung blades.

Having cut them to size, I slipped them into my shoes, laced up, and walked tentatively around the room. OK, let me cut to the chase. They felt great. The insole is quite firm in the midfoot but, unlike the model from Sole, the arch is far enough back so that it gives me real support instead of making me feel like I have a big, smooth rock in my shoe. I had no break-in period at all; I just put them in and walked away.

To summarize: The Superfeet copper footbeds appear to be well made of durable materials. They are quite thin in the forefoot and I have not noticed that they have molded to my feet, as advertised. There is little room for molding when the footbed is at most 3/16" thick under the metatarsal fat pad and toes. The heel cup is deep and improves stability for my relatively week ankles. For me, they required no break-in; they were comfortable from the first moment. My plantar fasciitis, while not completely gone, is much better and I no longer feel like my feet have been beaten up after a five mile walk.

But note: Feet are all different. I am enthusiastically positive about the Superfeet Copper footbeds. However, I have not compared them to every competitor out there, nor have I tried the less expensive models in the Superfeet range. In particular, I have not tried the store-molded custom inserts that one can purchase at ski shops and outfitters. Further, no footbed will help if the shoes in which they are worn are not properly and sturdily made and accurately fitted. I encourage you to try a variety of footbeds/inserts/insoles in your shoes before making a purchase decision.

My disclaimer: I have no financial or other interest in the manufacturer and I have received no inducements of any kind for this review.

An ex-football player past his prime (6'3", 360 lbs, size 13D, medium arch), I was recently diagnosed with plantar fasciitis. My orthopod recommended daily stretching exercises and Orthoheel slippers to wear indoors (no more walking around in socks). What a difference! The slippers and exercises lessened my symptoms from the start and, over time, eliminated most of my discomfort, so I decided to find some orthotic inserts to improve my street shoes.

So far, I've tested:

1. Dr. Scholl's Massaging Gel Extra Support

2. Aetrex Copper Medium Arch

3. Spenco Polysorb Total Support

4. Superfeet Copper DMP

5. Powerstep Pinnacle

each for two hours' total walking time over a few days in two pairs of my favorite shoes: New Balance 606 hikers and Cole Haan loafers with Nike Air.

I was naturally curious about Dr. Scholl's Massaging Gel Extra Support, advertised for big & tall men. They didn't do much for me. While the extra cushioning helped at first, it helped less and less the longer I walked on them. I mentioned this to my orthopod and he told me the key to managing PF is not cushioning, it's support. Grade: D

Next I tried the Spenco Polysorb Total Support. Remembering my doc's advice, I chose these for the rigid heel cup and arch support. Though quite comfortable overall, the arch support was a bit too low for my medium-high arches and the heel cup was insufficient support for weight. While they worked reasonably well for me, I believe they would a be better choice for lighter individuals with lower arches. Grade: B

I chose Aetrex Copper Medium Arch to get better arch support. After wearing these in both pairs of shoes for a while, I could hardly tell a difference from the Spenco insoles. Eventually, I popped one of the insoles out and swapped it for the Spenco and walked around the block. Only by walking on one of each could I tell them apart. I found the Spenco offered a little better support for the midand fore-parts of my foot while the Aetrex offered a little better support for my arch. Grade: B

Coincidentally, I was in an Allen Edmonds store and noticed Superfeet insoles. I asked the clerk about them and she raved how many men my size have good success with them. I tried the Orange and the Copper DMP versions in the store. Finding the Orange too high for my arches, I later ordered a pair of the Superfeet Copper DMP. These are easily the most rigid of the insoles I've tried...and easily the best. Superfeet arch support sits farther back on the insole than other brands. This made a real difference in the support I felt walking long distances. I also found the medial post support in the heel did a better job than other insoles in combatting overpronation. Grade: A

Most recently, I tried the Powerstep Pinnacle insole. While it seems well-made and offered good support, it simply did not work for me. The gel-based arch support sits too far forward and in the middle of the insole. The insoles felt like I had lumps of soft clay underfoot. After a few blocks of brisk walking, my feet began to fatigue as if I were walking barefoot in sand. Again, these may work for some people but they didn't for me. Grade: C

Best Deals on Superfeet Copper DMP Premium Insoles

I have owned lots of different Superfeet insoles from the blue, green, black, and the custom form ones. These copper ones are much better than the other non-custom form Superfeet insoles.

Honest reviews on Superfeet Copper DMP Premium Insoles

After almost three years of issues with both of my feet, torn tendon, fracture and neuroma in both feet and I am still young in my early 40's I was wearing the blue superfeet until today and was fitted for the new copper superfeet. So far wearing them for about 3 hours and what a difference. With the proper shoes that were fitted to my feet and the inserts in just one day pains in my knee and feet have gone away!!! Make sure you have the right size shoes or insoles don't work!

Thanks to Dr. Toy and the Awesome people at Fleet Feet!!

I have ridiculously high arches and always buy the green inserts, lest I find myself with a very stubborn case of plantar fasciitis. I recently decided to try these for something different and feel they are fairly comparable. The cushioning is nice and appreciated in my work boots, though the arch support doesn't seem as high as the greens. I also believe that these are sized slightly differently I purchased the same size as I always do in the green inserts, but these feel a tad shorter. These are working well in my work boots despite being a touch too short, though I will probably go back to the greens for my purposes once this set has worn out.

Montrail Women's Sabino Trail Running Shoe

I am a trail runner and need a stability shoe due to a near fallen right arch. I purchased these shoes only a week before I ran in them 20 miles of my first 50 miler 6/11 and was very, very pleased with the fit and performance. I tend to get black toenails despite buying shoes one full size larger than my street shoes. I noticed when I kicked a large stone during the run, the rubber toe protection prevented me from feeling any reverberation in my toes. That was a first. My favorite shoe prior to this one was the Asics Trabuco but it looks like even that one has just been out performed. Not one blister either!

This is an excellent shoe, my second pair. Fits true to size, buy 1/2 size larger than your street shoe. I run on a mountain that is rocky and this shoe grips the trail and protects my entire foot including the front and side of the toes. The price was the best I found and delivery was very fast.

Honest reviews on Montrail Women's Sabino Trail Running Shoe

I own an older model of a Montrail trail runner, the Highline. They've lasted approximately 6 yrs and are still wearable but are faded/dirty. Unfortunately the model is discontinued. I wore a 8.5 in that model but probably could've worn a 9 comfortably as well. It was an awesomely supportive shoe with a well defined arch inside and held up well through many vacations, lots of walking, hikes, camping, etc. It wasn't my daily shoe but I wore it when I wanted comfort and support. This new shoe, the Sabino Trail, didn't feel as snug around my foot and didn't have the pronounced arch so I was disappointed. Although it's attractive, I returned it.

The colors on these shoes look great. The overall fit is similar to other Montrail shoes I've worn. Unfortunately, the cutout for the ankle on the outer side of the shoe comes up higher than the Badrock or the Masochist II, and it rubs on my ankle bone. This should not be a problem for anyone with normal ankles. Unfortunately, I have bony ankle bones and need shoes with a deep side cut. Please bring back the Badrock. It was perfect for me!
