I love these shoes. They are however very tight and if I could go back I would have gotten half a size bigger. My Nike free run 4.0 were tight at 10.5 and somehow these are even tighter. Regardless they feel awesome and offer a lot of stability for quick movements. They also feel durable and built to last.

Saucony Women's ProGrid Mirage 2 Running Shoe Reviews
I was fitted for these at a reputable running shop that's fit me for several different pairs before. These are good quality shoes -however, they are NOT for somebody with high arches or who underpronates (foot turns outwards when I run). I've run maybe 25 miles total in these, and within a week I developed severe plantar fasciitis in my right foot, and then in my right foot. I have rolled my ankles 5-7 times in these, and not ever done that in the past. In fact, I sprained my right ankle while running in these.
I do not recommend these if you're an underpronator or need arch support.
I do find that the Mirage runs about a half size big. I take a 9 or 9 1/2, but I ordered a 10. It's a good roomy toebox but the heel is just right. I think a 9.5 would have fit, but I'd recommend going a half size up if you are on your feet in these all day and experience any foot swelling, or if you wear cushioned socks, or if you just want a little more room in the toe box.
The support in this shoe is very good. The sides are well constructed and tough. The soles are thick and give a surprising amount of support to minimize shock, more than any shoe I've worn. I could even feel the difference through my knees.
Three things worth noting: (1) With the roomier toe box, I experienced some side-to-side slipping. I added a gel insert to the forward part of the shoe, one that had a nonslip top, and I now wear a cushioned sock. There's still adequate room for comfort and a no-pinch stride, and this has taken care of the slippage. (2) This shoe has breathable mesh on top. It's durable (no rips or tears in my first pair even with tough use), but if you plan to walk or run on a messy trail or wet road, you had better be comfortable with constantly damp feet. For me, occasional wet feet were worth it when I had cool feet from the ventilation in dry conditions. (3) The lugs on the soles are not quite as deep as they appear to be in the photos. It does not have the grip I expected. Even so, it's a better-than-average sole.
Tip: if the Mirage 3 (or any subsequent models) are too pricey, search for the 2 or the original, get a color nobody else is ordering, and save 70%. :)

I was fitted in this shoe at a well-respected running store. I needed a shoe that could carry me through miles of road running (I usually run trails in minimalist shoes). During the first run, my right heel hurt. During the 2nd run, the right heel hurt, then the left one, too. A few hours later, I could barely walk, my feet hurt so badly. It was as if plantar fasciitis had returned to my right heel. I hope to return these and continue to seek out a shoe with good running support. The shoe that I sing praises about? The Saucony Kinvara 2. I absolutely love this shoe!! I've been in the military for 12 years and was in desperate need of new running shoes because my previous shoes soles were completely worn down and rocks were breaking through... My first replacement shoe was the Brooks Ghost5 because they got vote best shoe in runner's world. When I ran in them I would keep hitting the other foot, I've never had this happen before, thinking it could possibly because they are so bulky... The shoes also felt a lot heavier then my previous shoe, so I went to a running store near me and they actually had a scale so I could weigh my previous shoe and the shoes they had on hand. My previous shoe weighed about 8 ounces per shoe and the Brooks weighed about 12 ounces per shoe, so that made the Brooks 8 ounces more altogether. So I pretty much was wearing the weight of 3 of my previous shoe, which may be why I was running differently and hitting my other foot. Well they ended up recommending the Saucony Mirage II and I asked them to weigh them as well, they were approximately 8 ounces each, I was a little weary of them because I had never really heard of Saucony as a running shoe, and they are 4mm heal to toe (I really screwed up my Achilles tendon when I tried the 5 finger shoe Vibram's, which was my fault for running too much too soon). Well I've been running in these for 3 months now and I think they are best running shoe I have ever run in. I recommend them to everyone. I have a normal arch, and I tend to land on the outsides of my feet (my shoes are all worn down on the outer edges). The Saucony Pro Grid Mirage was the first one I purchased to address this, at the advice of a long-time runner. I wore those for about 9 months and replaced them with this, the Mirage 2. While the shoe feels a little more shallow than the original Mirage (does not come up quite as far on the back of foot), I still find it to be a comfortable fit.I do find that the Mirage runs about a half size big. I am extremely happy with these running shoes. I am using them indoors on a treadmill until the weather warms up. I will, eventually, be using them outside. Currently they are exactly what I need. I had developed a calloused hot spot on the ball of my right foot, most likely from worn out shoes. However, these shoes are perfectly cushioned right in the exact spots I need to relieve that pressure. I feel my foot healing already. I currently put in around 16 miles running miles a week.

My 16-year-old is a shoe crazy kid, and he absolutely LOVES these tennis shoes. They're beautiful! They change colors from purple to teal when turned at different angles, and the bottoms glow-in-the-dark for an extra special feature. I believe I spent way too much money on them, but they're sold out in every store, Nike can't confirm that they'll ever release them again, and it was the first tennis shoe that my son's liked, that I actually liked too.

Really nice shoes. I ordered these in a normal width as I do in all my shoes. This shoe was a little narrow and hurt my toes for a while until they were broken in. Otherwise, love the quality, colors and would recommend to anyone. I get compliments on them all the time. Got them for a decent price on Amazon. Try one on in a local store first if at all possible before buying online. I could not find these shoes anywhere locally. Another shoe you may consider is the Air Max 2013. They are true to size, look great and very comfortable.I really like these shoes! Fit is great! The price was even better! I want these shoes in more colors.

Review of ASICS Men's GEL-Lyte33 Running Shoe
I have the charcoal /electric blue version, which has the white rubber sole. They are wonderfully light and fast, but also give good support. I was really happy with the way they felt, however after only 3x40 min runs there is substantial wear evident on the heel indeed, about one third of the AHAR rubber has already worn away. I am a light, efficient runner and a 20+ year ASICS user and have never had this problem before, even with ASICS lightweight shoes. Maybe the black rubber soles are more robust? Anyway, I will try a few more runs to see what happens however, if my experience so far is any guide they will have worn through the top layer of rubber within a couple of weeks in which case they will be winging there way back to ASICS for comment!

These shoes are ridiculously lightweight to me . They don't feel like they weigh any more than my Adidas flip flops. In contrast, my work boots weigh about 7 lbs.
They breath very well. All of the grey around the front is a mesh material that you can see your foot through.
If you need a reflective shoe, this is it. Almost all of the silver around it is reflective.
My one issue with this shoe is the sole. I think it's too soft. I can feel more through it than I would like to, such as small rocks, when running on the paved jogging path I'm on most. It was enough for me to give this shoe 4 stars instead of 5, but it wasn't so bad that I quit wearing it.

Just ran my first four miles in these shoes. Early take is that they are super light, springy, and comfortable shoe. Great cushion and a tight fit for the sides. I have wide, flat feet and these shoes felt like I wasn't wearing anything. The only complaint I have is the plastic on the upper and side. The design of the shoes where the first lace is threaded is a little brittle and rubbed in the beginning. I suspect that this will disappear as they are broken in. Overall, very good shoe. First things first, you may need to order one size bigger. I normally wear Men's 13, exceptions have been size 14 in Nike and Under Armor. Mizuno Men's Wave Cabrakan 3 Running Shoe Reviews
I was hesitant to purchase these at first in light of other reviews that suggested they might not share the same morphology as other Mizuno running shoes. I am a long time Mizuno running shoe wearer, having worn nothing but Mizunos since around 2001. I have trained for and run nine of my last ten full marathons in Mizunos and will likely continue to do so. This year I branched out a little and began running more trail races. I purchased a set of these Cabrakans and I have run trails in them for the last two months. I even gambled a little and wore them in a 12.4 mile trail race the day after they arrived, with only a short 2 mile run in them the evening before the race.
I can say that from my perspective they fit and feel just like my past road running Mizunos: the toe box is amply wide, the cushiony feel is there, and they are not overly heavy. I couldn't be happier. Esthetically, they may appear a little narrower in the toe, but I think that can be attributed to the additional rubber grafted onto the outside of the toe for protection from obstacles -the interior feels equally roomy to me. In any event, I have had no increase in blisters or other foot injuries/annoyances with them. I'm currently training for another marathon and have alternated wearing these with my road shoes on rail-to-trail runs (in addition to single track trail races), so I have quite a few miles in them already with no complaints.
These Mizuno Cabrakan's a good solid shoe, but a few things about it are just so-so..
1. the top part of the toe has a protective layer, which is sturdy but catches on stuff.

This are great shoes. I'm a 10.5 with a some-what narrow foot and the 10.5 in these fits just right. The tread has great grip. Good for the trail. I had another pair before and I miss the twisted shoe laces, but the standard laces that come on these work good too. Very durable shoe, feels warmer inside, does not breathe as well as other shoes, a bit narrow at the toe box area, but otherwise the shoe looks great, and it seems like it will last for awhile especially on the trails

*Disclaimer: I love running in minimal-ish shoes. Thin, around 5-6mm drops, but with more cushion than an official "minimal" product.
I fell in love with my old Puma Faas 300. They became my best friends for training: I even ran a few races in them! When they became treadworn and ready for retirement they were replaced with another brand that was "highly recommended" for long runs.
The new other-brand shoes are great for long runs but I missed the feeling of my Puma Faas, their quick reaction, the way they lost themselves on my feet as I forgot I was wearing anything at all. When a pair of Puma Faas 250 (the slightly-thinner cousin of my beloved 300) showed up at a discount price on Amazon my heart skipped a beat. With a few clicks, they were mine.
These shoes are AMAZING for my quality workouts. They have the same Faas fit that I've come to love but with a (did not think it was possible) thinner, springier sole. I can feel the ground as I run which is what I crave. My feet can quickly correct for adjustments in terrain, my ankle is stable, and the shoe is so light it never weighs me down.
These are my go-to shoes for speed work, strides, splits, track training... all my runs except my long-mile runs. If you are a neutral runner (go to a running shoe store and find out!) that loves minimal-ish shoes, these are worth a look. I order my true "run shoe" size (which is always 1/2 size larger than my regular non-run shoesI don't know why) and they fit beautifully.

I love this sneaker, it is very light weight. not a whole lot of sole on them if you are a serious runner outdoors I wouldnt recommend this sneaker. the are very thin in material so a drop of rain and your soaked! but very stylist and true to size.

I enjoy playing with these shoes a great deal. There really comfortable. The inside sole can not be removed but its is one of the softest i have ever placed my feet on. The outside of the shoe is made of a sleek plastic material not the best but will do the job. The laces are not in the middle of the shoe, they are moved a little to the side in order to give mo room for making contact with the ball. Also there is not a lot of flash and color to them so if your the kind of person who likes to make a statement with having eye catching cleats, these are not for you.
These boots are not a tight fit and like i mentioned are comfortable. Thats why i prefer to wear them during skirmishes or when at the local park. You see i'v been spoiled rotten by my F50's, there super light and the unique feeling they give. I can not play competitive soccer in any other kind of cleats. Don't get me wrong tho these boots handle real well.

Review of ZEMGEAR Women's 360 Round
I just received a pair of these as a gift and have completed a couple of runs in them. I have been running in minimalist shoes for a couple of years and these are the best shoes I have tried so far. They are much more comfortable than my Vibram Five Fingers or Merrell True gloves. These are incredibly light weight and the bands provide a very secure feeling. The toe box is very roomy, allowing my toes to move freely.
Hitting the road in these the first time was great. They are so light, it feels like you have nothing on your feet at all. The road feel is great and very similar to my five fingers. My only complaint, so far, is they soak up water easily, however my feet have stayed warm despite this.over time.
Overall, these are the best minimalist shoes I have tried so far. I am curious to see how they hold up over time.
The soles seem very good for the job. I ran on loose gravel, chunky pavement and then on dirt/gravel and had no problems with the 'feel' of the gravel and loose rocks through the soles.
The looks, well, I don't care as I prefer function but I was stopped by one passer-by walker who was very impressed with the look and concept.
I don't know how well these will hold up over the long haul but so far I am satisfied. If there are any longevity issues then I will write again.
The one really good thing about these is that I have an odd shaped foot with the second toe being longer than the first (big) toe this is actually not too uncommon. I tried on a couple of pair of Five Fingers and those will absolutely not work for someone with a non-perfect shaped foot. My smaller toes did not even reach the 'fingers' so the discomfort just standing and walking in the store was ridiculous. With the Zemgear shoes this is not an issue. I believe anyone wanting to experience near barefoot running will be very pleased with these shoes if the sizing works for them. If it were not for the sizing I would have easily rated these a five-star but I know the slightly too large shoe will be an issue but at least one with which I can live.

Update 12/2012: Ok I found out that sockwa actually does sell on Amazon, but only their G2's. They only sell their G3's on their website for some odd reason. The G2's and the G3's are basically the same but the G2's are better for those with narrower feet and I definitely feel more comfortable in the Sockwa G3's. So I'm guessing that these Zemgear are probably better for people with narrower feet and ankle bones. I usually wear a size 7 regular width (B) in shoes, but I often have to break my shoes in a little bit because my feet are a tad on the wide side.

Twenty-five years ago I was in an accident and after many years of miss diagnosis doctors found a break in one of my vertebrae the nerve impingement from the break was causing chronic pain and numbness in my foot. Add to this that I work in a warehouse so I need my feet to work.
Someone (I can't even remember who) suggested minimalist shoes and I stumbled on ZEMs. I got my first pair about two years ago. I got the original playa round high top, the difference was amazing. I could feel and use my feet like a normal person. Unfortunately the playa weren't long lived. Fortunately they lasted long enough for the O2 and the 360 to come out. I got one of each last summer.
The O2s fit and feel very much like the playa, with more grip. They are awesome for a long hot days when my feet are tired and puffy. The deeper sole has meant a longer life so far, and they are the most soothing of my shoes. After a year there are a few marks on the soles, but nothing too bad.
The 360's took longer to get used to, or maybe they took longer to get used to me. These shoes offer a lot more support the new style bands seem to meld more to your foot they are a one person shoe, and it is a snugger fit than the O2 or the original so you may want to go larger.
I have these shoes on for about 6 hours a day of walking, running and carrying heavy objects over an uneven floor that is half wood with exposed nails and some areas of concrete, the soles are incredibly resistant the bottoms still look new. I don't think I've ever had a pair of shoes with such a strong sole, but at the same time you can feel the world around you. I recently had to get a second pair because I managed to cut one of the seams, but after a year of daily use I think that is acceptable.
This is probably the most important thing. Up until I found my ZEMs I was getting nerve blocked every three months to keep my pain stable. In the past two years I haven't had any injections and my stride has become cleaner and straighter. I feel like my ZEMs have gone a long way towards stabilizing my condition and reducing pain flairs.
I love my ZEMs
Hitting the road in these the first time was great. They are so light, it feels like you have nothing on your feet at all. The road feel is great and very similar to my five fingers. My only complaint, so far, is they soak up water easily, however my feet have stayed warm despite this.over time.
Overall, these are the best minimalist shoes I have tried so far. I am curious to see how they hold up over time.

I have only ran about 10 miles in these so far but I really like them except for the sizing. I originally bought men's 10 which was too small so ordered the men's 11 which are too big. It is a pity they don't do half-sizes as this would make them a far better product for me, at least.The soles seem very good for the job. I ran on loose gravel, chunky pavement and then on dirt/gravel and had no problems with the 'feel' of the gravel and loose rocks through the soles.

I bought these shoes because they look original, and I enjoy barefoot running. I've used vibrams and really enjoy the feel of running barefoot. The Zems arrived a day earlier than expected. They look and feel cheap. I wore them around the house for a few hours and they instantly began to look worn. After my first run, the soles showed huge signs of wear. The yellow part of the sole under the big toe has already fallen off, and I havent even had these shoes a week. I am hugely disappointed. I wasnt expecting vibrams, but this i rediculous. These shoes didnt last a week before they looked like i ran a handful of marathons. The workmanship is crap. I have to return these because the band around the ankle is too tight for me and cuts off my circulation. Maybe I have fat ankle bones. The shoe fits great everywhere else though. I got my usual size. Personally I prefer my Sockwa G3 shoes. Which are very simular to these but they come in more colors and have a more comfortable band at the ankle. They also have a more flexible sole than these do. Even thought these shoes are classified as a running shoe....they are far from it. They look great and you pay a price for looks.
The soles are extremely hard and the shoe is not at all forgiving. I've actually stopped running in them after only a week as my feet are always sore in them. I've never been more excited to purchase a shoe and then disapointed when I received them. Asics has made a terrible shoe and I'm going back to Mizuno.

The Rebel's are great shoes if you need a lot of room (if you a have a large sized foot for your particular size) AND have a neutral step. Also, there does not seem to have a lot of arch support. They are a soft shoe, but they do not have the hard plastic mid-step/arch support as do the nimbus and kayano's do. Ultimately didn't buy it. Good looking shoe just too big. I've always worn ASICS and I swear by them. I've always worn a size 10 but this shoe runs big. Having shoes delivered to your doorstep is very cool but having to return them is a pain. These shoes fit to size and are incredibly light. It took awhile to get used to the "flat" heel, but I enjoyed them for short runs. I wouldn't use them for long runs on hard surfaces because I don't think they have enough cushioning to protect the runner. I think that for the price, this is a pretty good deal. All other running shoes that have the same price tag are not as good as this one. The sole is pretty soft and that provides extra cushioning while running, which might help to prevent shin splints. I use those on a treadmill, running feels much softer than in my old adidas shoes. I have some knee and ankle problems from old injuries and even after 5 mile distance, knee doesn't remind me of itself. I'd recommend these shoes to anyone running on solid surfaces as gym floor, concrete or treadmills. And the top of the shoe is made of really thin materials you can feel some ventilation even as you walk.
