I order this shoes in size 9.5 since my daughter is wearing 9 right now, and reading the description and reviews I thought 9.5 would fit like a size 10 since I wanted room for her feet to grow, but it didn't, it barely fit her, I'm thinking maybe could be because of the width, they only had M left and I usually buy the W, so that may be the reason why they didn't feel bigger. But I sent them back and ordered size 10.5M and they fit great! With a little bit of room for her feet to grow and very comfortable. The customer service representatives that helped me with the return/exchange were very helpful and when I went in to order the size bigger, they had gone $5 cheaper so I even got the refund for the price difference, we are very happy with how everything turned out. Durable, long lasting. Makes for a very decent looking pair of school shoes. Has velcro straps. Runs half size big and wide. My toddlers love them because they are available in good colors (my daughter owns them in the red) and are so easy to put on and remove. Also, the tongue is stitched to one side and makes it so much easier for the kid to put them on. I have occasionally put them in the washer with cold water and air dried them. They clean up very well. The only disadvantage is they are a little pricey compared to similar shoes (New Balance had similar shoes but not in these sizes). But they seem so comfortable and I have never seen my kids trip in them when they are running around that I think they are worth the buy. Between my kids they have 4 pairs of these shoes at any time, and each one of these pairs have withstood the test of active play and kicking around over the years.

Last summer I bought 2 pairs (1 in navy and 1 in black) of this brand of shoe for my then 4 year old grandson. I bought them at a local store. He loved them and thought they made him 'go fast'. They lasted all year long, never looked worn, and were only replaced because he outgrew them. This year, I went back to the same store. I was disappointed that they did not have more choices of color combinations. So, I bought 1 (brown) pair there, and then went to Amazon to get this 2nd (navy) pair. They are very easy for him to put on all by himself, and he does go fast! As far as the price difference, Amazon was less than $10 more than the store, but Amazon had many more choices, and delivered them to my door. However, I'm very glad that I went to the store to have his foot measured for this brand so I could be sure when ordering online.

Perfect fit, light weight, have had lotsa compliments about color and style (I bought the lipstick.) And oh so comfortable! Stable, great grip (though a bit slippery on tile). I am a serious runner (1200 miles a year), run in minimalist running shoes (no arch support or cushioning), and have flat feet. As a result, periodically I get pain in one of my arches. Over the years I have collected an assortment of products to deal with this problem, and am always interested in trying new products. I recognize that everyone's feet and needs are different, but for me the Mueller Arch Support relieves my pain immediately and works just fine. Here is what I like:

1. This is more compact and less bulky than products that support both the ankle and the arch. While those products come in handy when my ankle is also bothering me, I like to wear the smallest support possible when I run to deal with whatever problem I have. The Mueller Arch Support takes up very little room in my running shoes, and also is comfortable to wear in regular shoes.

2. This is very simple to use. Just place the small blue pad under the center of your arch, wrap the strap on the inside of your foot (not shown in the picture on Amazon) around the top of your foot, and while holding it in place, wrap the strap on the outside of your foot (which is shown in the picture and has the word "Mueller" on it) over the top of your foot and secure it to the neoprene. Doing that will also keep the first strap in place. While another review notes that there is a "lump" where the two straps cross, for me it is neglible and no different than other products that I own. It certainly has no effect on my comfort in wearing this, whether barefoot, in running shoes, or in street shoes.

3. While the picture shows this support being worn over a sock, you can also wear it directly on your foot. This means that you can wear it while walking barefoot in your house (which I like to do), or under a sock when you go to the office, so nobody will know that you have it on.

4. For me the blue pad is comfortable and provides the right amount of pressure (which is listed as "moderate" on the package), and the two straps are well secured. This also stays in place without slipping when I run, walk around the house, or go to the office. And most important, it relieves the pain. I have read the negative reviews, and can only say that I have not had the experience that they describe.

5. As another review notes, only one comes in a package, which is fine with me because I usually have only one arch that bothers me. Also, the straps are definitely long enough so that one size fits all. On the other hand, I have relatively small feet (size 8 street shoe), but the straps are not excessively long for me.

IMPORTANT: This is NOT returnable. After I ordered it, I saw something else, and decided to return this. But when I clicked on a link to return this, I got a message that it was not returnable, which I confirmed with Amazon customer service. I am glad that I kept it, but just keep the no return policy in mind, which is nowhere mentioned on the Amazon site.

Bottom line: This is relatively inexpensive, and certainly worth a try if you have arch pain. While it may not work for everyone, it does work just fine for me.

I bought this product about a month back and really liked it. I have worn all kinds of arch support and have had surgery on both feet. I wanted something I could plod about the house with. I hate wearing shoes (live in FL)

The only problem I found was in the design. one strap curls around the other to fasten on the opposite side, leaving a lump at the crossover. I fixed this by cutting a small slit in the opposing side and I feed it through the center. Now in sits perfectly flat under my sandals too.

Beware. I figured they were a pack of two (I have two feet) Nope, just the one came..but! I am back for more! Easy wear, easy wash..I have one happy foot :)

This was not a comfortable fit for my feet because it had a groove around on the side of the arch that did not fit well. I found that buying these online was too risky and went back to the ones I first purchased at the shoe store.

I purchased these orthotics after having them recommended to me by a local specialty shoe store that I trust. I have them in a pair of neutral New Balance running shoes that I liked except they lacked sufficient arch support. These Aetrex insoles definitely provide enough arch support for me, almost too much in fact. I am 6'2" and 201 pounds and run about 20 miles per week and am therefore pretty hard on footwear. These have proven to be quite resilient and durable and I recommend them to anyone who has an appropriate foot shape to need the level of support they provide. I have noticed that my feet and knees feel better after running with these in the shoes (versus the stock New Balance insole,) but they do take some getting used to. I find the arch support to rise and fall without much subtlety under the midfoot area, which feels a bit akin to having half a tennis ball under your arch for lack of a better analogy. I'm not discouraging their use in any way, but I think my arch shape is a bit less highly sloped at the margins for these to be quite perfect. I plan on using these until they wear out (which at this rate could take a while; I've been running with them for two months now) and then trying something else. I have no objection to them other than they feel quite pronounced in my shoe, especially while standing or walking.

The shoe would be great if the toe box was wider. My feet are EE and I usually wear New Balance, but they changed the design. I got these because the reviews said they had great fit. It's not for people with arthritis, though. The toe box in the EEs was way too narrow and tight. It seemed more like a regular wide than 2E, and my arthritic big toe was SERIOUSLY HURTING. The old New Balance design fit perfectly, until they changed them. Progress sucks!

This was my first Ecco shoe purchase and I am definitely going to be a regular customer! This by far is the most comfortable walking shoe that I've ever worn! These shoes feel like they were custom made for my feet. I have very narrow, long feet and they fit perfectly. They provide the most comfortable, and solid feeling arch support that I have ever felt on any pair of shoes. They are great for running, jogging, basically any type of exercise you do. However, they are also superb for an everyday shoe if exercise is not your thing. A bit pricey perhaps to some, but WELL worth it. Your feet and back will thank you, they improve your walking posture with no conscious effort on the wearers part (in my opinion). My ONLY problem is lack of options in the color department. Otherwise just a great set of footwear.

I have been buying Vasque shoes for years and years. These are the same quality that I have come to expect. Durable and comfortable, they breath well and are not heavy like some of the other brands of this type of shoe. I will continue to buy Vasque in the future and recommend these to anyone who does day or weekend hiking over stable terrain. Get a boot if you want to go up and down steep inclines or over rough, rocky areas, but for trail hiking this is the one.

I'm a size 10.5 and have wide feet, usually a 2E, but these shoes are just right; I'm guessing they are made with a little extra wiggle room than a lot of other shoes. I'm quite please with them.

This is a fabulous day-to-day walking shoe. It's got excellent heel cushioning for those who like to take care of their knees. It's also super breathable and cool, for those who don't enjoy sweaty feet. For such a lightweight shoe, overall support is quite good, although you might want something more heavy duty for seriously rocky trails. On the other hand, for walking around town and for light to medium summer trail use, the "Mindbender" is the best shoe I've found anywhere.

I had been wearing K-Swiss tan shoes for about 20 years, and never saw anyone else ever wearing them. They finally started to wear (I developed a bad case of Metatarsalgia wearing them while walking around SF one day!) so I decided to get a new pair of shoes that I've never seen anyone wear before.

I couldn't find the K-Swiss anywhere, so I just searched "tan sneakers" and found these. My daughter let me know that they are very trendy, and I let her know that I doubt anyone is buying the tan shoes!

These shoes are MEGA supportive. The sole is firm and just pliable enough to be comfortable. These are walking shoes, even though they were probably designed for the court. They are pretty stylish, too, as I have received several compliments from my middle school students (in spite of the color; which I love!) If you are looking for firm, solid, supportive and stylish shoes, you'll love these!
