I was a runner before I had children. I wanted to start running again. I was concerned about buying these without trying them on, but I read all the reviews and bought them anyway. I had a chance to go to a high-end outdoor store, so I tried on every shoe there I didn't like any of them. When my Scarpas arrived I tried them on I loved them right out of the box! I have been trail running, track running and street running these are AMAZING!

See my review about the Zen Lady shoes too. Simply put, I have worn them silly every since they came in. Perfect fit, light weight, have had lotsa compliments about color and style (I bought the lipstick.) And oh so comfortable! Stable, great grip (though a bit slippery on tile). But, as I said in the Zen Lady review...I was super glad I had taken the time to compare and read ALL of the reviews. Took a lot of worry out of buying online!

These shoes are so comfy that I can wear them without socks. The special cushioning on the side wraps up the foot in a way that makes them extremely comfy. If you have approach shoes by Scarpa, you might find that the sizing is not consistent (my approach shoes are 1/2 size smaller).
