I bought two pairs in different colors the black pair I bought from Amazon, and the other silver pair from a shoe store. I wore the black pair for 1month they were very comfortable and fit great, but then the sole started to come apart. I figured it was probably a defective pair, but my 2nd pair, the chrome silver, just did the same thing. I was very dissapointed because I thought I finally found a pair of comfortable shoes I could wear to walk on campus.

I purchased a pair of these, silver/purple, about four months ago. Thought they were the most comfortable shoes I'd ever placed on my feet. Being the summer, I didn't wear them much, though, as sandals are my preference in the heat. That being said, I was very surprised to notice that on not one, but both soles, the gel part on the outer back sole, had come loose. One actually fell off that day, with the other not far behind. Needless to say, I was very disappointed as they are quite comfy.

Bought these for my girlfriend who loved the comfort they provided but caught her 2 weeks later super glueing the soles back on. Even though she claims they are the most comfortable shoes she's ever had, she continues to have to pull out the glue. Definitely don't buy these without a JUMBO sized tube of glue.

Long-time Ryka fan since 2003, when I got a puppy that was crate-trained. So I needed a slip-on shoe and that was my first pair of Rykas, through years of walking to cross-trainers to completing a half-marathon, Ryka set me off on the right foot. The fit of this pair is wonderful and the mesh areas allow plenty of air circulation. Very stylish with my turquoise peddle pushers and black tee-shirt.

Ive had these shoes for awhile. They are comfortable and great shoes all around. Don't get my 4 star rating wrong i love these shoes but i have to rate them accordingly.

1) The soles wear extremely fast.

2) While they are netted and vented nicely they do not promote very good air circulation.

3) Reebok was sloppy with the glue, but what non-sewed shoe isnt now days.

Would I buy another pair?

The shipping was super fast and I opted for super saver shipping. I was worried the shoes would be too bright but they were nice and pastel like. The problem is they were too narrow even openning the laces. Also I ordered a size 8 my normal size and even with a very thin sock they were too tight. Even with all those problems I thought they would be the most comfortable shoe (like on a cloud) they were not. I returned them very easily and was refunded promptly. Ive ordered other things from Amazon with ease. Clothing and shoes seem hard to order online in general atleast for me.

First, I have to say that these shoes fit like a dream and look so very good on your feet. Yes, they look a little strange in pictures and in real life, but they look so great on! Many Reebok shoes have been getting too narrow, but these are just right. Now for the bad part... I have only had these one month and the inside back of the heels are totally worn through. At this price, I expected the shoes to last a lot longer. To be fair, I walk 3 to 4 miles a day so I didn't think they would last 6 months. I just think that one month's wear is not enough. So, if you are a casual walker and want a great fit, these will work. If you want to do a lot of walking or running, these are great for that but won't last long.

I basically wore nothing but these shoes, when they were made by Adidas, back in the 1970's/early 80's. The fit and quality was great and you could really move in them. Of course, after they stopped making them and my last pair wore out I was out of luck. I've had many other types of running/athletic shoes since, but always wished I could find some forgotten stash of that old Adidas model again. When I saw these shoes I was pretty surprised and hopeful, but when I found out Adidas owned Reebok I got excited! I have 3 pair now and I'm completely satisfied with them. Same fit and feel, with the added bonus of remembering good times from the past each time I wear them. If you remember these and liked them back then, do yourself a favor and get a pair. You won't be disappointed.

The only thing I do not do is sleep in them (well not usually). It is very hard to find shows as light as not wearing anything. I cannot stand shoes that form fit and are all fluffy and hot. I have run the gambit in color as they became available and not in my size. I used to let them ware out completely but now I use the new ones for work and the old for play and the garden. There is a pair that does not seem to want to wear out I keep hanging from the treadmill.

The only thing I regret is they did not even ask what I would pay for them to be made in the U.S.

I am giving serious though in having a backup pair.

These shoes are a bit snug-fitting, but that's usually to be expected with new ones. The color was composed of more of light-greenish shades of grey than the picture indicates. The quality seems to be very good, but that along with the corresponding fit will be indicated more clearly with the ensuing break-in. They are a cool-looking, albeit maybe a bit retro type of design; that was actually what attracted me. They look nice: not overly flashy, but not too subdued, either. I look forward to long life, like Reeboks and New Balances I have used in the past. These Reeboks do seem to be a bit tighter than similarly-sized New Balances, which are usually too roomy. The sock liner/inner sole is not removable, and the soles of these shoes are stiff (board-lasted), unlike Nikes and New Balances I have had (better for casual use than running or a lot of walking). The shoe laces are very nice: they are adequately long enough and have a little bit of elasticity; they have a reassuring grip or "cinch" when you tie the bow. Overall, I expect to get long and good use out of these shoes. By the way, I wear these types of shoes everyday and everywhere, including for walking and exercise sessions.

I was very excited to purchase these spikes because of the cool coloring, light weight, and my previous satisfaction with Saucony. However, these spikes had an odd curve on the bottom that I landed on when I ran, throwing me off balance. I ran the 800. Luckily, it was only two laps because my entire race was wobbly as I landed on the odd ridge on the bottom. I never wore them again. The one star is for the spike's awesome colors.

Buy ASICS Men's GEL-Speedstar 6 Running Shoe

I shopped around a bit before deciding to go for this. As with all ASICS, get a shoe that's half a size bigger than what you typically use. I am usually a size 9 in Nike shoes and I went for 9.5 in this. At first use, you will notice that this shoe is very lightweight, it fits perfectly to your foot, and it is very comfortable to walk around. I immediately tested it outdoors for a 5K run on the road and I have to admit, I was very impressed. It felt very comfortable, the impact was sturdy and it was easy to modify my running gait as the shoe fits like a glove. Just remember that the shoelaces tend to run a little short on this so I had to leave the last hole empty and double-tie the shoelace so it doesn't come off during a run or a workout.

I also used this shoe in a TRX / boot camp class and it did really well with jumping activities as well as sudden motions like skips, hops and twisting. It's a perfect pair for either running or working out. I also did get compliments from the design!

On a related note, I am on my feet at least 8 hours a day (I work as a Physical Therapist) and I use this shoe as well (I rotate it with 3 other shoes to avoid overusing the shoe). I swear I could wear this at work and in the gym and just for lounging in the house (although it may not smell so well after!) Just a good choice if you're looking for an all-around shoe that's lightweight and will not be as flimsy as a Nike Free Run or as Hard/Stable as an Asics Kayano. I've never been happier with the balance of this shoe. I highly recommend it. Just remember that this is more of a Neutral Shoe. If you need more support on your medial arch, I recommend getting the Green Superfeet insoles to replace the current one (http://www.amazon.com/Superfeet-Green-Premium-Insoles-Womens/dp/B0033BPBD4/ref=sr_1_1?s=shoes&ie=UTF8&qid=1366180820&sr=1-1&keywords=superfeet+green).

These shoes are top notch. Both in looks and function. They are very comfortable and extremely light and breathable, offer excellent support for athletic activities, and they also look great (in my opinion, FWIW :) I have worn just about every brand of running shoes, for sports only, not casual wear, and my next pair will definitely be from Asics again. I'm using these shoes for ZUMBA (I'm an instructor and teach 3-4 times a week). I was pretty much in love right away, but disappointed that a rubber piece came loose on the bottom after only like 3 hours of use. I decided to glue it rather than return them. I thought it was surprising for such an expensive shoe, but ever since I fixed it I haven't had any problem. I'm able to twist and turn like I need to for ZUMBA but it also give my feet and my knees a nice cushion. I would recommend them, but I wouldn't spend more than I paid (about 60) since I know it varies here on amazon.

This was the first pair of wide shoes I had ordered online and was so pleased when they arrived. First, they shipped in a day even though it was estimated 2-day shipping. I was very pleased. When I tried on the shoes I was so excited. They are so comfortable and for someone like me who has wide feet, these are the first shoes I found that actually fit well. I have never owned a pair of "wide" tennis shoes, and am going to probably order another pair just to have a back-up. They are stylish as this retro sort of look is coming back. I can finally order shoes in my actual size, a 6 instead of a 7 or 7 1/2 just to get my foot to fit in them. I actually was able to stand up straight in these shoes as the arch support actually hit my foot on my arch. I highly recommend them.

I got these mainly for working out at the gym, but I find myself wearing them all the time. They popped out at me on the shelf with all the colors, they match all my workout clothes. I have an incredibly painful foot condition called plantar fascitiis. It is the name of a ligament in your foot located in your heel and arch area. I could barely walk when I first got it and so had to use some foot products to aid my recovery. This one is probably the best and I've used a lot of aids. I've also been to Urgent Care, xrays and an orthopedic surgeon. This insole gives you the most support where you need it for this injury, right around the heel and the arch of the foot. It is higher on the arch end of the insole on the inner part of your foot, as it should be. I can wear flat shoes again with these inserts. I was stuck in super sneakers prior to finding these and the gel cushioned arch insert, which I've also reviewed. I doubt I will ever wear a pair of shoes again without inserting these into them. I got 2 packages on ebay for a total of 4 shoe inserts, which cost $19.00 with free shipping, no tax.

These inserts are well made and durable. Anyone expecting instant relief from heel/plantar fasciitis pain by merely wearing these inserts (or any inserts/orthotics), however, will likely be disappointed. They are merely a very useful tool in an arsenal of simple and commonsense measures such as stretching and exercise of the foot, icing, and taping. There are plenty resources on the web and elsewhere concerning the best way to approach such treatments.

Over time, wearing good supportive shoes with inserts such as these coupled with aggressive application of other appropriate measures whenever we start to feel the pain returning should keep most of us pain free most of the time. That is probably the best we can hope for.

The adidas Gazelle is one of those shoes you buy for a weekend afternoon to wear along with your softest jeans and most comfortable shirt. They look really nice in person, and offer a bit more arch support (and heel height) than many other "old school" retro shoes but are still a low heeled shoe when compared to modern running and basketball shoes. Insoles are non-removable, so you can't upgrade the fit.

These are slightly narrow and slightly long for their given size. The extra length appears to be due to the rounded shape of the toe box from experience these will just be a hair long but not like a well known popular canvas retro shoe where you need to fall back in size.

Overall I'd buy another pair without hesitation, and recommend them to a friend.

The Gazelle is a "classic" shoe from Adidas, that has been so popular, it has been around since the late 60s. I have the Spy/Black version and am very happy with them.

The treads on the bottom of the shoe are essentially flat with a pattern of small, indented hexagons underneath (nothing fancy). This does not give you a lot of traction compared to regular athletic shoes. The relatively low amount of traction makes these shoes bad for outdoor running or other sports that are hard on your shoes (I started to play some outdoor tennis in my pair, and noticed that the rough tennis court was gradually starting to grind the sole off).

The outside is suede, which obviously means it's best not to wear these shoes when your feet will be getting wet. The stripes are leather and pretty typical. The tongue is long and thin, and bothered me at first, until I kept it moved to the side. The shoelaces are pretty standard and come untied about as often as to be expected (more often than those rounded shoe strings).

That's about all I can think of for these shoes. I think they are a superb buy since they come in a great 7 different colors, are not too pricey, and have a look that is ultra-stylin' !

What more can I say? this pair is awesome, just wore it for straight 8 days in puerto rico and island hopping and it has maintained its shape, its new looks, and I am surprised that it did considering its light weight and thin material, it doesnt seem like a sturdy pair, but it held up just fine and still looks new. having said that if I went running in them, i'd tear it in a day or two, but its not meant for that and you already knew that. so yeah, get a pair! 6 stars if I could give it that.

The title says it all: they are light, comfortable, look good, go with almost everything. As one prior review pointed out, these appear to have almost brownish hue on product photos, but in reality they are grey with orange. Incidentally, I prefer this color combination, since it goes well with black, denim and even brown colors.
