I noticed that the average reviews for the second generation SyncroFuel are lower on average than the previous gen. I think i know why. The previous syncrofuel; my all time favorite shoe of which I wore out 3 pair, ran a little small so I wore a half-size bigger. I received these today and to my dismay, they feel a full half-size smaller than the previous generation. There is noticeably less room in the toe. I think I will still end up in a pair of pearls, but now I need to try on a pair of 12's to see if they fit.

I was very please by the weight and cushioning of this shoe, but the heels wore down very quickly. I do about 3 miles a day 5 days a week and after 4 months I had to replace them because the heels had become so worn. While they last, however, they were great.

I love every pair of Pearl Izumi I own except this one. The the size feels a full two sizes to small.....completely unusable. the problem appears to be in the toe box, but it is actually so small that I am not absolutely sure that it is limited to that area. I tried to pass them to a friend with smaller feet, but he found them too small as well. The appearance and weight seem great, but are irrelevant if you can't get the show on your foot comfortably.

I have owned many pairs of this shoe, or the past version, and have been very happy with the model and company. These are very lightweight yet still provide some stability when I run. I typically run 20-25 miles per week and am 5'8 165 lbs. I would keep buying these as long as they keep the model similar to this version. Another great part about these shoes is the fact that the upper is seamless and never rides up on my ankles a big plus.

I've owned my fair share of Puma's in this similar style — probably a total of about 7-8 pairs in various colorways mainly in the Voltaic style. I must say though that this is probably my favorite to date and I think it really has to do with the all-leather construction rather than the mesh style of the Voltaic. The mesh on the Voltaic gets dirty quickly and is difficult to clean. Keeping these clean and sharp looking so far has been easy with a little magic eraser or even just a wet rag. If you're familiar with the Puma Voltaic or Cell styles the fit/wear is very similar. Obviously there is a lot of personal preference but I think they are a very comfortable casual shoe. Being a part-time runner, I definitely wouldn't consider this a good running shoe however just due to the lack of cushion on the sole and the overall weight of the shoe. If you're looking for a good running shoe, I would look elsewhere. But if you want a comfortable shoe to wear with jeans or shorts, this fits the bill!

Review of ASICS Men's GEL-Frantic 6 Running Shoe

This is my second time purchasing this shoe. I have run 3 half, 1 full marathons and trained around 15-20 miles a week in this shoe.

Overall this shoe is a good running shoe for many different surfaces. I train on concrete, asphalt, and gravel surfaces. This shoe is very lightweight and super forgiving on your heels. I tend to have an outside-in gate when I am at marathon pace and this shoe really lets me run in my natural stride without rubbing my ankles or heels. If you are heavy on your heels and light on the push-off this would be a good shoe for you.

The only slight downside to this shoe is i feel that it needs to be replaced more quickly than other asics I have owned. But, it is not the most expensive shoe either so I feel it is an even trade off.

The looks are conservative and not flashy at all, (the shiny silver area is not that shiny) overall a good running shoe and I am purchasing again.

First, these shoes look great! I loved them the moment I opened the box. Today, I decided to try them on and cruise over to the gym. The first thing I noticed is the lack of forefoot cushion which is apparent by simply looking at them. Secondly, if you notice the heel design, the raised areas that would strike the ground first are shifted slightly forward. So, if you're not running and just walking around, it feels like the pressure point is shifted slightly forward on your heel. I'd compare it to standing on a padded roll of quarters running across the middle of your heel. When I came home, I switched back to my Asics Kayano 17s and they feel nice and cushy throughout. But, for the money and appearence these shoes are fine for the gym.

My husband works at an auto assembly plant is on his feet all day! He's tried many, many different brands of shoes and bought his first pair of Asics about 3 years ago! Needless to say, he's never bought anything else since then! He loves these shoes, and you have NO idea what it means for him to say something like that! LOL

We highly recommend these shoes or any pair of Asics, for that matter!

These shoes are very comfortable right out of the box.

I had worn-out a pair of Puma Fast Cat's and didn't like the way the fabric heel area separated from the foot bed. These are both more comfortable than the Fast Cat's and the leather-like inner heal area shouldn't have the same issue (I hope).

The color seemed darker on Puma's website, but I think it's accurately reflected in the picture here. These are borderline "old man" shoes (no offense to old men), but the nu-buck inserts break-up the monotone enough to give them some style. I work in a place that is traditionally business formal, but I will use these to dress down suits on casual days. They look good with jeans, as well.

The size does run small (as with most Puma's). I normally wear between a 10.5 11.5 and I ended up getting 11.5 in these shoes, and they are jsut ever so small. A 12 would have been better for me.

Overall, I'm happy with my purchase!

Cheap Reebok Men's Sublite Train 1.0 Cross-Training Shoe

I bought these to use fir the Insanity workouts. I was originally using a running shoe and wanted to try out a cross trainer. I noticed the difference right away. They feel more stable, have better grip on my concrete floor, and are very comfortable. They seem to have more cushion in the forefoot compared to my New Balance runners, I have what has been called a "low-volume foot". Basically my foot doesn't fill out too many shoes. Often, when I tighten the laces all the way on some shoes, the eyelets touch before I even get them tight enough. These fit great in that respect. There is plenty of room for stretch and adjustment of the laces. Not sure how long they'll hold up. Only time will tell. For now, I am very happy with them.

Update I exchanged the 10.5 pair for 10 and I now love these shoes! I have changed my rating to 5 stars! As always the exchange process with Amazon was super easy and low stress. I have put these shoes through some tough classes and they have performed great! For reference the classes include Body Pump, Body Combat, and various CrossFit WODs. I love the stability and minimalistic feel. I don't like a lot of over design. I prefer a minimalistic barefoot feel and these shoes have that.

I liked the look of this shoe. I have had Reeboks before and was fairly confident when ordering this shoe in my size online.

After putting it through its paces in a few cross-fit type classes, I feel that it is running a little on the big side by about half a size. I think after the padding squishes down a little more I will be stuck with wearing heavier socks to make it fit better. Besides the sizing issue, it has a nice supportive feel and it was a steal at the price I bought it at so overall it's okay.

I'm standing on my feet for over 9 hours a day in these shoes, and I've got to say, they wear as good today as the very first time I wore them probably a couple of years ago. They are so comfortable that the only time I don't wear them is when I have to dress up!

They are great with my uniform, great with jeans. Just about anywhere I have to go, they can take me! I think I had to replace the shoestrings, but other than that, they still look great, and feel better than barefoot. They have perfect support for my feet (and having had a heelspur, that's VERY important!) I'd have to say they are the best wearing pair of shoes I've ever owned, and considering what I've paid in the past for a pair of "comfortable" shoes, I could get 3 pairs of these for less and come out WAAAYY ahead.....lol.

I love this shoe! It's great to wear during hit days, especially in the summer, because it's light, air flows into the show and it keeps your feet from sweating excessively. I use it when working out at home or going to the gym and it feels very comfortable. I wouldn't recommend using it while running on a dirt track because it's easy for dirt to get inside your shoes. So far, so good. Needless to say, kids shoes really can't be reviewed well until they've been worn a lot. Because, lets face it, it comes down to how long they last the test of (kids) time. The construction seems good, as good as Nike, UA or Adidas, but again, time will tell. The shoestrings are slightly stiff, but I think this might be good in the end, because they tend to stay out from under foot. Many other, more 'limp' strings end up getting torn up.

My son is quite happy with the shoes, says they are very light weight and 'bouncy'.

I have owned several pairs of PUMAs over the years, and they have been great shoes for the most part. These particular shoes fit well, and were sharp looking, but they were not of the same quality as the other PUMA sneakers I have owned. They wore out after about 4 1/2 months, and I only wore these shoes a couple times a week (tending bar). Other PUMAs I have owned have lasted 3 or more years with similar use, so I'm not quite sure what the deal was here.

durability is quite poor ( Perfect for non sustained casual wear, However I used this shoe for everyday street wear and gym)

For the course of the shoes 3 months,

Comfort was acceptable, nothing special

Grip was adequate for pavement, gym most ordinary terrain apart from wet grass :P

Flat shoe proves useful for Gym, and motor sports (car)

Good shoe while it holds shape, after that the loose fitting shoe makes for a very unfit for use article

Great shoes, sizing was right on and got them at a steal for $31.48 plus my prime 2day shipping included. The only down fall of the shoes is keeping them clean; Puma should include an after purchase care insert with the shoes. All in all they are a light, cool looking shoe.
