When i received these i was quite amazed. They're very solid shoes and and they have a sexy look. I break a ton and these are awesome, they provide good traction and they're extremely light for my size (Size 11). I'd highly recommend to buy.

I never had high tops before these and I didn't know if I could pull them off because a lot of high tops are a combination of weird colors but these are the perfect color combo and the shoe laces make it pop. I miss plain old running shoes. Nowadays it seems like whenever I go to buy a pair, all I can find are "minimalist" shoes which offer little to no arch support. Maybe I'm in the minority but I really have no desire to wear neon colored foot gloves. I liked my basic, neutral running shoes the way they always were solid and supportive. As a person with "difficult feet" I have to spend entirely too much time hunting to find something that works and it's frustrating.
So here we have this new model from Asics, which offers a more traditional design with some modern updates. Like a minimalist shoe this one is lightweight and snug. However, like my favorite running shoes of old, this model also has a firm arch (check that silver arch plug that keeps it from bending in the wrong places) as well as solid springy cushioning. It's also got a removable insole which allows my medical orthotic device to slide in neatly. The material breathes well too. Plus for those of us in the over-35 category the colors are subtle and basic. No neon!
For the price and these are very reasonably priced I haven't found a better buy. If you are looking for a basic neutral running shoe that supports your feet and looks like something an adult would wear, look no further. Good job, Asics.

If you run or walk more than a couple of miles per week, do yourself a favor and do not buy there shoes! Their soles are too thin and they do not offer proper support for running. If you only use the shoes for driving and an occasional visit to the mall, then they are fine. The shoes are well made and they look good. Bought these at the beginning of this season because I loved the color and they seemed perfect for my events (hurdles/sprints). I bought them from running warehouse because they had the lowest price and I could return them just in case they didn't fit, and I was so excited when I got them! They are gorgeous and so many people have complimented them. They're also very lightweight and the laces tie tight and stay put. I also love what they're made out of because the outside is very easy to clean and so it stays looking brand new. I've gotten countless PRs in these.(: My only (minor) complaints would be that the built-in plastic spikes on the bottom wear down quickly, and since I hurdle so much in them the inside (where the heel is) has kind of broken in, toobut it hasn't gotten too be a problem yet. I would definitely reccomend these to any sprinter/hurdler.

This shoe has it all! As a sub. teacher, I'm on my feet all day, and this shoe felt good all day. It's light-weight, too. It's just a great shoe!

My wife bought a pair of Saucony Pro Grid Guide 5's for her marathon last spring. She loved them, and they held up to her training.After one marathon and around 700 miles, she needed a new pair. I keep coming back to these shoes over and over. They provide the best support for my flat feet and bad knees. And I put them through the ringer. They have stayed strong through boot camp, long runs, and all sorts of fun activity. Right around the 6 month mark I can always tell I need a new pair, so I come back to amazon and get another!

Mizuno Unisex Wave Musha 3 Running Shoe Reviews
These shoes are designed for one of two specific purposes:
1) Minimalist running (these shoes are light and have virtually no support)
2) Road racing or speed training (yay!)
I'm training for 5Ks right now, but am a 1600 3200m runner. I still do a lot of speed workouts, and these shoes offer much more support than spikes without adding much weight at all. I'm not really into minimalist running I do a lot of my runs on rough trails or pavement, and I can't risk being injured just to run in shoes that weigh a bit less.
But let me tell you, after running in my mega-cushioned asics or trail shoes for a few days, strapping these on and going to the track makes me feel like i can FLY.
They also look awesome. The glittery laces were a bit much at first, but I've grown to dig em. They're sweet to look at when you run...although I don't recommend looking at your feet for too long :)
I have a pretty standard foot. Not wide or narrow. I run with neutral/normal pronation and have a moderate foot arch. When I wear these shoes, I mainly mid-foot strike, but they feel great with forefoot strikes too if you are so inclined. I wear a size 12 in Asics, a size 12 in NB, a size 11 in adidas, and an 11.5 in these fit perfect. Like a wonderful wonderful protective sock!
As a last note someone mentioned their feet hurting after walking around in these. Duh. They have absolutely no cushioning, although they do mold to your foot after about 20-25 miles. I bought these at my local running store, and no shoe was lighter although some shoes were very comparable (Mizunos just fit my foot perfectly). If you want a shoe to stand around in, or for walking, BUY WALKING SHOES or some crocs. Crocs are neat. Wouldn't recommend them for speed workouts though...
Soon enough you'll get over the giltery shoe laces.

I ended up returning this and going with the Ronin 2's, which are the non-supportive sister of this shoe. I normally have lower arches but it turns out that minimalist shoes WITHOUT support are better for folks with slightly lower arches. For years I ran with Mizuno Nirvana 4's. Ofcourse that is a very different shoe for carious reasons. However, it opened my eyes to the superior quality that you will find with Mizuno. The shoes on topic are very light....heavy sock! To my surprise, the arch support was surprisingly good. I find that shoes of this type are pretty spartan and your feet pay the price. I have noticed some tightness in my calf muscles since I started using these. I think its because there is far less cushioning than my previous kicks! Ill just get used to them. They are a tad big for him, however it leave plenty of room for the socks and ankle guards so they worked perfectly.
Cheap ASICS Men's GEL-Nimbus 15 Running Shoe
I have extremely high arches and suffer from planter fasciitis. The ASICS Gel-Nimbus is the only shoe I have worn that has just the right amount of cushion and support that doesn't aggravate the symptoms. Very comfortable!!! If they could just get a handle on the color options. My last pair was the 12. Took 3 models for a descent color combination.
I ordered my normal size in 4E, largest width. Surprisingly, the shoes felt a little loose, so I ordered another pair a half size smaller with the same width. I ended up keeping both pairs and use the smaller size only for running and the half size larger pair for more casual activities.
I guess the price for the Nimbus could be considered steep, but if I can get in a few more runs each month without pain then it is easily worth it for me. My only complaint would be that Asics only offers one of the Nimbus color schemes in the wider options. I even ordered last year's model, the Nimbus 14, as an alternative style, but those shoes don't have the same outside forefoot cushioning for road running.

For big frame, high arch runners I cannot imagine a better cushioned shoe. I am 6' 190. I have had consecutive multiple generations of these shoes back to GEN I-don't-know-what ( I think 3). Ultimate cushion, large toe box, great flex. Every pair has been race ready out of the box. I am 51 and have run multiple or at least one duathlon, 1/2 or whole marathon every year for the last 12 years ( year of my first gel nimbus). There has always seemed to be a color combination that looks nice too. I run with orthotics an the there is ample space to insert your own foot bed unlike higher models for pronaters. I was a New Balance guy for since high school (many moons ago) until I had my first pair of these. The fit of the shoe is as expected. The first time I tried on a could definitely feel the gel move. After going for my first 4 mile run I don't feel it moving anymore and feels broken in. They are definitely more comforable than my year on Nimbus 14 that have been put through the ringer. Based on my recolection the structure of the shoe is a little stiffer than the 14. One annoyance of the 14 that appears to be fixed is the heal. The 15 feels more firm and secure whereas the 14 had a problem where the structure would roll down inside the fabric. I'm a solid guy in my 40's who's generally athletic but I have high arches, a wide forefoot, and wear a small sized running shoe. I am not one of those effortless, injury-free runners. I land on the outside of my foot as I run and my feet and lower legs take a beating as I pick up speed and mileage. So my running career has often been a start and stop affair. I've purchased New Balance running shoes for the last few years, particularly since they routinely offer more width options. These were okay, but as I started back into running this spring I was looking for another option. (I had followed the recommendations at our local go-to running store, but I think they default to New Balance for wide feet.) After a good amount of research I bought the Nimbus 15 through Amazon and it has been the best running shoe I've ever worn by far. I'd never run in Asics before although I've tried many other brands in the past: Nike, NB, Saucony, Brooks, Adidas... The difference for me was immediate and striking. For underpronators (supinators) with high arches the cushioning in this shoe is ideal, yet responsive.I ordered my normal size in 4E, largest width. I ran with it yesterday and it's the most comfortable shoes I have had in a while. I was running on the Kayano 18s and the Nimbus beats it for me. Maybe because I'm an underpronator and the Nimbus is more for it than the Kayanos.

The advertisements do not mention anything about climbing treacherous water-slicked waterfalls. I tried them out climbing several waterfalls. They gave excellent protection and traction under the most difficult of terrain. Highly recommend these.
