I bought these shoes for many reasons. I have been a runner since I was 13 (now 30) and I know that I need a shoe for a moderately high arch and I need a stability shoe (which this is). **NOTE: don't buy a shoe if your stride hasn't been evaluated--just because mizunos have a good rep doesn't mean that any of their shoes will be right for you--most running stores can evaluate your run and let you try out running in different types of shoes on a treadmill.** I just received these today and ran in them tonight. They didn't rub, my feet don't hurt, no pain anywhere in fact. I am very pleased with this shoe--but that's because it's designed for my a foot like mine! Highly recommend if you are like footed! This is a really comfortable shoe. After a week break in it is nice. Feels light but has plenty of cushion.
