Only down side with all J's the front begins to wrinkle a little not a big deal. I did change to the black laces though and it definitely brought the shoe out more. I love them!

This is a pair for my daughter and I have been running in a pair for a couple of years. If you love to run with good ground contact and not a lot of hoohaw padding, this is your shoe.

It's great that this shoe is lightweight and very cute, but I wear a 8.5 in Saucony running shoes and the 9 i purchased was still small and quite narrow. I didn't get a chance to run in them but the sole of the shoe was so thin that as I stood in the shoes, I could feel where the spikes were on the bottom of the shoes. If you must have these shoes, maybe up the size 1 1/2 times and wear an insert to offset the thin sole.Honest reviews on Saucony Women's Kilkenny XC5 Cross-Country Shoe
I ordered these for my daughter. They came with NO spikes. What's the point of ordering spikes without the spikes? This is very upsetting.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Saucony Women's Kilkenny XC5 Cross-Country Shoe
My shoes came fast and I was able to use them right away, but they have me really bad blisters. That may be because they might be a little too small. That would be my fault though.Reviews of Puma Men's El Ace 2 PN Athletic Lifestyle Sneaker

When i received these i was quite amazed. They're very solid shoes and and they have a sexy look. I break a ton and these are awesome, they provide good traction and they're extremely light for my size (Size 11). I'd highly recommend to buy.

Overall, I thought this shoe wasn't that bad. But it's a heavy shoe (13.1 ounces). If you are running with 9-11 ounces shoe, then this is not a good choice. Probably, you might want to try Odyssey if you want to use it for competitive marathon or long distance training.

I love this shoe! I've had it for a few months, and the cushion is exactly the same as it was from day 1. I've never had a running shoe where the cushion maintains itself past a month or so, especially one I ran hard in. I'd strongly recommend the Spira brand if you get sore feet!Best Deals on SPIRA Genesis X
Most comfortable shoe of this type that I have ever worn. The winter months present problems for warmth, but the shoe would never be this comfortable if made with leather.Skechers for Work Men's Shape Ups XW Athletic Shoe Reviews

On the advice of his brother, my husband wanted to try these shoes for his gym workouts. Now he doesn't want to take them off! My husband has a spinal injury, and is in constant pain. He said these shoes really relieve the jarring pain of walking. A great product!
Unfortunately, after about 3 months, I developed rather excruciating heel pain, which progressed rather steadily over the next few weeks. I discovered I had acute retrocalcaneal bursitis, which (according to the doctor) develops in some who wear these shoes because of the instability and the unique walking motion.
Sadly, I have had to stop wearing the sketchers. I made one change and to see if my problem resolved (because I didn't believe that it was the shoes!). After I changed work shoes again, my heel pain went away. I do agree that initially, they made my feet feel great over the work shift, but the heel pain eventually hobbled me. These just aren't for everyone. The irregular gait they create can really irritate certain feet!
I know a lot of people have been into the flatter shoes, thinking they are more natural: but here's the thing walking on man-made concrete and tile floors is not natural! Barefoot-like shoes may work well on natural surfaces like grass and dirt, but not artificial flooring. I love the Shape-ups for the added cushion so my foot doesn't ache from being pounded onto the hard, artificial flooring all day. I have noticed that after about 6 weeks of wearing them, I feel that my feet are starting to hurt a little more like they are wearing down (but then again, every shoe will wear out). Overall, these shoes are pretty good if you work on hard, flat flooring. I wouldn't wear them for much else they seem to unstable for hiking or running or something.
Oh yeah... and they are ugly :( I'm not really a fan of most Sketcher's designs, anyway and these just get worse with the clonky ugly heel. For work, however, they feel much better on my feet than more attractive shoes I have worn.

I purchased Skechers Shape Ups to help with a recent knee injury. Because of the comfortableness I have since purchased two more pairs. These are the most comfortable shoes I've worn to date and, at 57 years old, I've worn a lot of shoes. They're a bit hard to adjust to at first but after an hour or two you truly feel as if you're walking on firm sand. I workout on a regular basis so I can't gauge the toning aspect but can tell you that my rock climbing has improved as has my balance. I would recommend this shoe to anyone who enjoys the feeling of comfort.Best Deals on Skechers for Work Men's Shape Ups XW Athletic Shoe
I bought these shoes for waitressing on the recommendation of a retail worker who raved. When I first wore them, I was in heaven. My feet and back, which previously bothered me after six hour shifts, felt great. The shoes feel very cushioned. The non-slip sole was very good. I did notice that my ankles felt slightly unstable in the shoes, however, I knew that was one of the theories behind the "Shape Up" shoes, that the instability helps you engage your core muscles, sort of like walking on a balance ball.Unfortunately, after about 3 months, I developed rather excruciating heel pain, which progressed rather steadily over the next few weeks. I have a pair of Skechers "walking" shoes and ordered the same size "working" shoes. When it arrived, I was surprised to find that it was about a full size smaller. The bad thing is, Amazon would not exchange it and I had to pay for the return shipping because this (size difference) is not their fault. I understand, but isn't this the manufacturer's fault and why do I have to pay the penalty?Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Skechers for Work Men's Shape Ups XW Athletic Shoe
I am in nursing school and saw a lot of nurses wearing these, so I thought I would give them a try. I really love how comfortable they are! You can definitely feel different muscle work-outs while you wear them and you do have to walk kind of funny, which sucks. I noticed that when I tried to stand on my toes, to look up high or something, I can't really do it because of the way the shoe fits and works my muscle. I really like the extra cushion, however, to protect my foot from the hard, cement ground.I know a lot of people have been into the flatter shoes, thinking they are more natural: but here's the thing walking on man-made concrete and tile floors is not natural! I'm a mid-level runner (15-25 miles a week for over a year) who just started training for my first trail race in August (a 10K). I just purchased these shoes a couple days ago and am in the process of breaking them in. I have high arches and have a tendency to over-pronate. They are nicely cushioned, but light and have fantastic arch support for high arches like mine.
They also seem a little heavier than other trail shoes I've tried on (probably due to the extra cushioning in the arch), but given I have funny high-arched feet, my selection was limited (I'm a New Balance and Aasics fan so I have faith in them).
My only real beef with them is they are built long and narrow. I usually get 7.5 for running as my feet swell a little, but that size fit me like clown shoes and I found I had tons of toe space still going down a whole size. I also had to purchase wides (which sometimes I do) as they seemed super narrow--even compared to regular running shoes. I definately recommend trying a pair on locally before purchasing--unless you can get free returns.
They seem decent to run in so far. I will update my review in a few weeks to include more about their performance as I run a little more in them and get closer to my race.
These shoe are the 510 style seem to be a bit wider than the 501's and I that's fine. The tongue of the shoe seems a bit short. If I lace them up through all slots, the laces come up further than the tongue.
Other than that I'll wear 'em out as fast as I can!
The last shoes I purchased were not New Balance but were a name brand and they ended up w/ a hole in the top of them after owning them for two weeks. I was very disappointed and decided to return to purchasing New Balance shoes. My husband has had a pair a New Balance shoes for about 5 1/2 years, he wears them daily and has worn them on long hikes and w/ a quick wash they still look and perform great. New Balance is a great brand and I hope these shoes will stay true to the brand.

Reading reviews somehow the shoes running `long' stuck, but somehow the narrow part of this shoe didn't stick in my decision making processes. The D simply was not wide enough, so I returned the shoes. Amazon does make the return process very simple. I took a chance ordering a shoe online without trying it on, but these were a home run. I love these shoes not only for comfort, but for the look too. This is my fourth pair of New Balance sneakers in the Minimus line. I love them. Use the sizing guide and order accordingly, rather than your normal shoe size, sneakers fit differently and you don't want running sneaks tight in the toe box. I am not overly fond of the current trend in sneakers that they all must come in fruit loop colors even the black ones have purple on them. Oy. However, ultimately, I run a lot of miles a week and the function of the shoe is most important to me, so the color is a side issue. (I'll be glad when the neons have run their course though, I admit.)
The Minimus line is awesome. Sock-like fit, I wear them without socks. The women's sole last is excellent for my feet. My toes can spread and hug the ground, but my feet are wrapped in a good fit with excellent shoe architecture. These are not meant to last forever they are meant to last through about one season of marathon-training intensity. If you don't run that much, they'll last you longer. The Minimus line is low drop, so if you aren't used to a lower platform, start slowly. Once you have deleloped your lower leg muscles accordingly, you can take them out for longer sessions. I wear these (4mm drop) and another pair that is a 0mm drop shoe, for different styles of run workouts, and I absolutely love how much more efficient my running is compared to three years ago, when I first started working on changing my form from the standard heel-strike to the midto forefoot strike.
Highly recommend the Minimus line and New Balance products in general. Great company. .
I'm generally not one to sport sneakers in what another reviewer referred to as "fruit loopy" colors, but I said what the heck, be bold! And I've gotten tons of compliments in the two days I've been wearing them even from total strangers!
I did size up a half size, but I won't hold that against the shoe because I often do go up a half size in running shoes. In a 9 my toes were hitting the front just standing.
I bought these to be everyday walkabout shoes, but I do plan to give them a whirl running since my new pair of [not cheap] old standbys finally left me with some plantar fasciitis and have too thick a heel for comfortable mid-foot strikes.
These shoes are unbelievably light...very comfortable..
I was suprised by the support they offered..
Normally my feet hurt a little after a run with new shoes but that wasn't the case...A+ for design and comfort...

I gave it 4 stars only because I can't in good conscience give it 5 as a running shoe... because I haven't run in them yet. But walking about they are super comfy. I've been concentrating on a mid-foot strike, so there's no discomfort in the heel from the minimal sole. There is some arch support, which made me more comfortable making my first minimal sole purchase.I'm generally not one to sport sneakers in what another reviewer referred to as "fruit loopy" colors, but I said what the heck, be bold! Just received the cleats feels very comfortable compared to my t90 strike. i wear size 8 on the t90. for theses i recommend getting a half a size smaller for a snug fit. the t90 is snug where i cant fit my finger in the back heal. these in size 8 there is room. instead of that. i know i'm grabbing another pair in the future.
So happy with them I bought the kids version for my son (Maracana MD).
Prior to purchase, did some research indicating this shoe as a great value. Time will tell on wear, but if they hold up, I'd have to agree.

Perhaps the best running/race shoe I've ever run in. Fits like a glove. Super fast, super comfortable. I highly recommend to anyone seeking a high performance trainer/racer.
The lacing system works great and does not come loose or undone. The tongue is not free floating like most shoes. It is attached all the way up the sides so you slip your foot in as you would a slipper. These are my first P.I. running shoes and I'm happy to report a new favorite.
You see a lot of these at races etc. EAsy to slip on, even with a wet foot. Laces are easy and effective.
Nothing inside to rub you the wrong way for blisters etc. Well thought out tri specific shoe.
I ordered a full size up and they fit a bit loose but just what you need for your feet swallow after running a decent distance.
Higly reccomend this item.

Very comfortable though not a cushy ride, or stiff sole so be aware. The only (semi)-complaint I would have it that the decals/logo feel a little cheap-ish. Other than that, these are my favorite part of heading to the gym (excluding the post-workout endorphins).

I'm 40 years old and very petite and I normally wear a women's size 4 shoe, of which there are none made in a running shoe in any brand that I found at any of the mall stores or online, so I resorted to buying a kid's size 3 running shoe, these ASICS Cumulus 12GS. For about a month now I've been using them comfortably for running/jogging. They fit well and are fairly cushiony, although I would've liked to have more cushion under the ball of the foot (up front). It's not something over which to return them, because, after all, there's nothing else worth choosing out there for running that would fit my petite foot!! At least they cost almost half as the equivalent in an "adult" size. I'd recommend them for ladies or kids.
True to size. Light weight and comfortable.
