I have faithfully purchased ASICS products for 10 years but I am very disappointed in these shoes. I've never had trouble with my ankles, knees, or hips while running, but after just two runs in the GEL-Fluent I was sore throughout my joints. I run about 15 miles per week and do 2-3 half marathons per year, and have never had problems until I started wearing these. These are fine if you merely intend to walk in them.

Disappointed. My first run in these shoes was about 6 miles and my legs were shot. This shoe has very little forefoot cushioning which I had never had a problem with other ASICS running shoes or any other quality running shoe.

I found these shoes to be very comfortable. They would likely even be good for light hikes, but would not want to mess them up with more strenuous hikes since they are very stylish too.

This shoe has an extra thick insole which gives you comfort and support. However,the back of my heel keeps trying to come out of my shoe so I have to tie the shoelaces very tight. The top layer of the mesh is thin and creases easily. The shoe is also a little heavier than I expected and not as flexible as the name sounds. Other than that it is a pretty good shoe.

A friend bought me a pair of sand-colored, regular-height Uggs for my birthday last year, and I love them, especially in this nice fall weather. They're so warm, soft and comfy ... perfect for tramping around the neighborhood, admiring the changing leaves and winter scenery.

Since I never tuck my jeans inside the boots, I saw this shorter length and decided they would be even more practical. I was already sold on the comfort, so decided to go for variety of color.

I chose distressed blue--perfect complement to jeans--and when I strolled over to the park, I was the envy of all my friends. I hope they make these in pink, like the regular height. I can't wait to get another pair.

I used these for hiking in Yellowstone in June... First I wore them 'around town' to break them in.

They really didn't need break-in time, though. Really really comfortable.

I know when I get a good pair of walking shoes~~when I do not have to 'think' about how my feet feel while I am walking.

That's what these shoes are like.

I own about 4 pairs of Keens now--different styles--and I just ordered a pair of Winthrop Keen boots online.

I am a Keen fanatic now....

I have two other uggs, one is the classic short and one is this classic mini. Both of my others are of the same high quality, the outside has the same feel and the inside has a very thick lining of sheepskin. This pair feels like velvet on the outside, not the same as the others. It is also much thinner in that the sheepskin lining is very thin and it feels like synthetic too. I am very dissapointed in the quality, but since times are tough I guess Ugg is cutting back as everyone else is.

We were so glad we found these because he is required to wear all black shoes to school and they are the most comfortable shoes, he says he loves them!! And so far they{re his favorite ones!

The material (suede) is very soft and of great quality!

After reading some other reviews on Ryka footwear, I was worried about the sizing of these shoes (narrow and shorter than standard sizing). Based on what others have said, I went and ordered a size up and in a wider width (since I have big, wide feet). The shoes fit absolutely perfectly with the sizing up. My toes have lots of room and the heel is the perfect width for my feet. This isn't a super cushioned shoe, but it is padded well enough to protect your feet and give a good, cushioned feel. I would buy these again when my current pair finally wear out. I'd recommend these for light hiking or just walking around town. These aren't meant for heavy duty running.

I've bought Ryka's in the past and have enjoyed them. This pair, I wouldn't really call a "Running Shoe" since it doesn't feel nearly as padded as other running shoes I've owned. I'm used to having a nice bounce to them, but these feel more like slapping bare feet against the pavement. I probably wouldn't buy this style of Ryka's again.

Also, they really are waterproof while letting your feet breath at the same time... Which is weird but it's true. Skechers Sport Men's Energy 3-Punisher Sneaker are comfortable, stylish, and provide good traction whether hiking or wearing them for casual purposes. I have had mine for about one month and have gone on three 5 mile hikes with a 16 pound backpack. After these hikes my feet felt fine and did not feel fatigued. I did not develop any blisters or hot spots. These sneakers are great for hiking on trails or casual use. I have used these Skechers with thick wool socks for hikes and thin cotton socks for general use and the shoe felt great with both types of socks. If you don't like untying and tying shoes you can easily slip these on and off with no problem. The tongue stays in place and does not shift to the side requiring constant repositioning to the center.

Pros:

+ Comfortable (probably the most important factor)

+ Good traction on trails

+ Lightweight

+ Stylish

+ Did not need a break-in period before hiking

+ Shoe tongue stays in place

+ Sneakers did not cause blisters, hot spots, or foot fatigue

+ Easy to slip on and off

+ Reasonably priced in a market where you can easily pay double the price for trail shoe by other brands

This is my second experience with Skecher shoes and I expect these sneakers to be a well made, comfortable product that will last a long time. My first pair was a casual work shoe that lasted eight years.

I highly recommend these sneakers. They are comfortable with a color and look that I really like in a trail sneaker.

I have worn Skecher's shoes for the last 5 years and I like them a lot. I purchased this model for several reasons and they are:

* I love the brown leather outside. I had a pair similar to these and I wore them basically every day for over 18 months and the outsides looked like new after all of that time. They didn't show dirt and scuffs as much as white tennis shoes. I literally wore out the soles before the tops looked worn.

* The brown color of the leather is stylish and the design of the shoe is stylish and unique. I feel comfortable wearing them with jeans or Khaki color pants.

* I liked the comfort of the shoes right away and they had no breaking in period.

* They came in large sizes and in wide widths and that is the only type of shoes that I can wear.

* I liked the rubber soles and the traction sole that is good for both indoor and outdoor use. I spend a lot of time outdoors and this is the type of shoe that I like.

* The heals of the shoes and the tongue of the shoes are padded and they fit comfortably on your feet. Since they are thicker and padded they don't slip and slide around on your foot when you walk and hike.

* The shoes are light weight and they breathe well and my feet don't get hot while I wear them.

I was glad to see this color of shoe available again. I have owned a lot of tennis shoes and this color and style of leather has held up the best of all the tennis and walking shoes that I have owned. These shoes are comfortable and the price is fair. I actually purchased two pairs of them at the same time. I like them a lot and I recommend them to you.

If I could give these kicks more than 5 stars, I would. Injured my knee training for half-marathon. Was just starting back up after a week off from training and had a rough first 3 runs with lots of pain. Got these in the mail, tried them, went out for what was planned to be 8-9miles an felt so great I did 13.1! Today (the next day) my knee feels decent, and the rest of me feels greatnot even a blister! LOVE these shoes!

I am a plus-size female runner (6 ft and over 300 lb), just starting out with run/walk intervals. I've tried various types of Asics (including the kayano, Nimbus, blur, GT) and Nikes (free runs). The minimalist shoes are nice for shorter walk/runs or cross-training at the gym, but they don't have enough cushioning and I tend to get very sore feet/knees/hips if I try to do more than a mile or two on the road in them.

Some other Asics have /too/ much arch support. Like, I am not flat-footed, I consider myself normal (neutral gait), but I just can't stand the arch pain that comes from shoes with tons of arch support.

I LOVE these shoes!!! These are the only ones I can run/walk in for miles without feeling pain. Just putting them on makes me feel like I'm walking on a cloud, and it actually motivates me to go longer and faster. Also love that they come in a women's 12.5 (I wear a 12 in most shoes but like to have a little extra toe room for running).

I love these so much I bought an extra pair for when they wear out :)

This is my second pair of Asics athletic shoes. the first were cross-trainers, this time I decided on running shoes as I wanted a little lighter shoe when doing corss-fit classes. They feel great. Prior to Asics, I always had a hard time finding shoes that fit me well as I wear an 11.5B and Asics is one of the only brands that actually carries 1/2 sizes over size 10. The Inov8 Terrafly trail walking boots have been an excellent addition to my shoe collection. I purchased them for a backpacking trip in the Smoky mountains expecting to wear them full time. One thing I found out, while these shoes are in fact very waterproof, if water goes over the top of the shoe, your feet are getting wet. Now this can be said for most waterproof boots, so I was not all that upset. Fortunately these shoes are extremely lightweight and I was able to switch to my backup shoes, hardly noticing these "boots" hanging from my pack. My backpacking partner meanwhile was considering abandoning his waterproof Merrel hiking shoes, which were much heavier and bulkier than these. I should also mention that I have started wearing these to work, as my feet often get wet and walking around with wet socks all day is no fun. So if you are looking for a waterproof shoe that you can wear day to day, are light and stylish enough, I would recommend the Inov8 Terrafly.
