Style and fit were not what I had expected from INOV-8 line of shoes! They should work on the styling more and it would be a great shoe!

The Inov8 Terrafly trail walking boots have been an excellent addition to my shoe collection. I purchased them for a backpacking trip in the Smoky mountains expecting to wear them full time. One thing I found out, while these shoes are in fact very waterproof, if water goes over the top of the shoe, your feet are getting wet. Now this can be said for most waterproof boots, so I was not all that upset. Fortunately these shoes are extremely lightweight and I was able to switch to my backup shoes, hardly noticing these "boots" hanging from my pack. My backpacking partner meanwhile was considering abandoning his waterproof Merrel hiking shoes, which were much heavier and bulkier than these. I should also mention that I have started wearing these to work, as my feet often get wet and walking around with wet socks all day is no fun. So if you are looking for a waterproof shoe that you can wear day to day, are light and stylish enough, I would recommend the Inov8 Terrafly.
