I purchased this from JCpenney for around $40+tax. Pricing wise, Jcp is the lowest unless Amazon runs a deal on this listing.
It's a good light running shoe from Adidas especially for folks who like to run on hard surfaces. Also, a comfortable shoe for walking long distances. It has adequate heel support and good shock absorption, so your feet dont feel achy even after an hour's worth of moderate running.
Comparing this shoe to the previous brilliant Adidas trail running offerings such as Supernova TR series and Response TR series, the Thrasher TR 2 seems a bit of a disappointment in terms of performance and comfort level (especially breath ability of the shoe). However it could have to do with that Thrasher TR line of shoes are supposed to be half the price of aforementioned shoes.
If you are looking for top of the line Trail running shoe from Adidas, you would rather go for the pricy Response Rerun TR.
Important Information for prospective buyers : This run really really small and narrow. I usually get size 10.5 M(normal width). However, for this shoe I had to get 11.5 EE (very wide). So make sure you try it on at shoe carnival or any other outlet that carries this shoe before ordering it.

Recomend runs a little small but worth getting it . Not a fan of the new styles but this one was one of the better looking but bought it for the comfort !

I went to Kohls and they had the last pair on clearance for $26. Probably a manufacturing defect, the right shoe curved up more and made my foot ache within seconds. If it did not have that problem I would have bought it at that price. The shoe fit my usual size. It was very flexible. What surprised me the most is how soft and quiet the soles were. While most rubber shoes make some clopping sound when you stomp your feet, the outer soles on these were as if they were made of foam and felt like I was walking on foam. I think the lug arrangement aided in this awesome feel. I ended up getting the Adidas Kanadia TR which is similar.

I bought these as a replacement pair for my son. He loved the pair we had that we bought in the store, but this pair was much too narrow, so we sent it back. The original pair fit well.
