I have very wide feet. Even though I am a woman, I have tried men's shoes, and other extra wide women's shoes but have never tried ASICS. I got the widest size and they are still a little snug, but are definitely more comfortable than most of the athletic shoes I have purchased. I do like the support they give. If they were not as snug as they are, I would have given them a 5 star rating. Seems like I cannot get a shoe to fit the way I want, but these are absolutely better than most I have purchased.Review of ASICS Women's Gel 170TR Cross-Training Shoe

I am quite active doing a lot of cardioboxing, zumba, and strength training per week. As I have a high arch, I was looking for a pair of trainers with good cushioning, ankle support, and traction (to work out on slippery hardwood floors). I tried Nike Free Fit and New Balance Minimus and each was good in part, but not overall. The ASICS GEL-170TR did the trick. The first time I tried them on they felt right. The reason I'm not giving them full 5 points is that they are a bit heavy and thus not 100% comfortable when doing cardioboxing kicks. One more point: I read in other reviews that they run short. This wasn't the case for me. I have a normal width foot (medium) and I just purchased my usual size in trainers.
