My daughter chose these shoes because they look like lace up shoes, but do not require tying (the lace part is just for show, they close with a velcro strap). I was happy to find that the shoes were available in wide width. My daughter says they are comfortable, and they have very worn well so far (1 month).

Treksta Women's Edict Trail Running Shoe Review
This is an extremely comfortable and good looking shoe. It would be really great if it was offered in red like the men's version. A bit wider than normal but this is good for wearing a thicker sock. True to size. A really nice shoe both for men and women.

My son had seen these shoes in stores, but only in ugly colors. He found them on Amazon and ordering & delivery was easy. He loves how they feel, mom loves how they look. He, like my husband and me, has high arches. They support his arches and are comfortable when he's on his feet all day.

These are by far the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. They provide superior stability, the mesh upper keeps my feet cool, and the gel absorbs shock like no other running shoe. The fit is perfect even though I have a bit of a wide foot. Oh, and I never even realized how heavy my old Adidas were until I started wearing these, which are so light on my feet. First time buying this brand and quite pleased with purchase. The fit was right size (ie did not have to buy 1/2 or 1 size bigger than my normal shoe size). With socks the fit was just right. The sneakers are very light and provide good support for both heel and forefoot, the latter being important for me given I have a toe nerve problem...and they look good. Pleased with purchase. I have had this pair of shoes a year from buying this one pair. Maybe it is because I run more now, but I am not digging it anymore. Don't get me wrong it is a good pair of light running shoes. These shoes felt TERRIBLE!! I tried to wear them around my office a little bit, but after 45 minutes, they went right back in the box that they were shipped and were set back. They felt like $30 cheap shoes. I could feel the edge of a fairly flat rug under the ball of my foot while just standing still. And the hell was so square that you had not choice but to large exactly square, if it that's an unnatural way to step. The cushionis was horrible, if not non-existant. The stability was overpowering. And the back of the heel hit in the wrong spot. I would not call these "GEL" anything!! I am very disappointed in Asics. I was under the impression that they manufactured quality products. Way over priced for "cheapies".
Cheap New Balance Women's WR1224 Running Shoe
I've been a NB runner for years in this seriesfirst 1221, then 1222. I skipped the 1223 and bought 1224 this year. Be wary on buying from the internet b/c the sizing on this shoe is different than previously. In both the 1221 and 1222, I was an 8. In this shoe, I'm a 9! I ordered the 8.5 and now I have to return it-even that's too small. The toe box in particular seems a lot tighter than on previous shoes. So make sure to order the right size for you.
The 1224 has more cushioning that most stability shoes that I have tried, and rides very well.
I've logged my first 100 miles on these shoes and they're holding up beautifully. They are a bit more in price, but I figure I'll be able to wear these through 400-500 miles, versus trading out at 300, so it's worth it to me.

I typically run 15 miles a week and have plantar fasciitis. I've been wearing the 1224 for over a month now, and have experienced no flare-ups. If you're in the "Athena" category of women runners, this is an excellent running shoe for you. Most women's running shoes are designed to support a weight of no more than about 140-150 pounds. If you're over that weight (like a great percentage of the American public, since the US average female weight is 163 lbs!), then you'll want a shoe that is built a bit tougher. I was skeptical at first, but one workout and I was convinced. I've gone through many shoes and this one does it all. It puts my Nike and Fila runners to shame. It fits a woman's foot as it should a little wider in the toe-box and hugs the heal. I have had major foot surgery, a broken ankle, sprains, and more. The New Balance WR1224 provides ample cushioning support just where you need it most. Your ankle is supported and the ball of your foot is totally protected from impact. It's fantastic for ladies with sensitive feet. I would highly recommend this shoe to women for both running and high-impact aerobic workouts. The shoe is so comfortable it makes my cardio sessions easier to get through! I'm getting a second pair just so I can have an extra one on hand. A+++ for the WR1224 from New Balance.

This pair of track spikes are amazing. They are light weight. 3.2 oz feels like a feather. They are breathable, comfortable, and dont cause stress on the legs when getting to higher distances. This spike is made for 1500m and up. I recommend getting a pair of these spikes if you want to tear up the track and show everyone who is boss.
Cheap Mizuno Women's Wave Creation 13 Running Shoe
AMAZING SHOE. Displeased with both the colors and price increase of the Wave Creation 13, I determined that I would try on a pair of Wave Rider 15's. I found the Wave Riders to be lacking for me, fit-wise. The salesperson then suggested the Enigma. Not a bad shoe at all (loved the toe box), and I would have probably purchased the Enigma...EXCEPT!...once my feet sank into the Wave Creation 13's and felt the superb arch support and excellent cushioning on the ball of the foot, it was all over. Now, this will be my fifth pair of the Wave Creation, so perhaps it just felt 'right'... I do know that I don't know that I will ever wear another running shoe!

I have run 2 marathons and many half marathons and many more shorter races. I am 41 and I don't have any injuries. I took the diagnostic on the Mizuno site and the site suggested the creation 13. I had been on enigmas for my last 3 pairs on shoes. I was on brooks gels before that. I like how mizunos "roll". I put the creation 13s on and did 6 miles on the treadmill and my feet and joints felt like bliss. No lie. I did a 15k with the creation13s two days after I got them. No problems. The enigmas sometimes would make me sprout a blister on my first long run. No blister with these new shoes. I guess these are my new shoes! I guess mizunos analysis site worked. Totally satisfied. I love Mizuno running shoes. That is all that I have wore in the last 3 years. I started with the wave inspire but quickly moved to the wave creation 11 and 12. I've own 2 pairs of each and I love everything about them, they have ran me through a handful of half marathons and 10km races with no complaints. So when I needed a new pair of shoes of course I went straight to the wave creation 13's. I love the new fun colours and I figured they would fit like a glove, but I was wrong and very disappointed. I wear a 8.5 so this is what I ordered in the 13. It felt big. The toe box which I love in the 11 and 12 is spacious which is great on long runs so your toes don't fall asleep but the 13's toe box is more narrow and longer which feels very uncomfortable. Right now I'm looking for new shoes quick. Might go for the prophecy or another brand altogether. Very disappointed.
Best Shimano 2014 Men's Full-Featured Light Weight Performance Road Deals
I had a previous pair of Shimano cycling shoes that felt just too narrow in the toebox. This model is a little wider and much more comfortable. All reviews have pointed out to the stiffness of the sole and the way the upper really grips your foot for power transfer during all phases of the pedal stroke. And I concur. It's a great shoe. I feel very little loss of power during all types of riding.
And the weight even with Speedplay cleats is nice and light.
The sole (Carbon Fiber) is more resistant and more aerodynamic design.

The Maranas are doing extremely well holding up after only a 2 weeks of skating. There is only a couple stitchings showing on side of the shoe from my flick foot. Great shoe, stylish and all. But they don't have the comfort I expected. They say the comfort should've been outstanding and should be a 'great shoe'. Not what I think. I used these for work and i ended up with more heel pain then ever before. Very much as a let down to me, I love etnies and all they always have good products though. Just this is a let down for me.

I bought these Lithia flip flops because I was looking for flip flops with arch support. These had great reviews on most websites including Amazon.com, so I went for it. I am so glad I did. These are the most comfortable flip flops I've ever had! It feels like I'm walking on marshmallows. I bought the Berry Soda color and I think I'm going to buy them in blue as well because they are so comfy. I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again. Just make sure you put them in the oven and follow directions for the adjustment/fitting for your feet. It's a personal fit and it's great!
I was hoping for a thick, bouncy bottom part, with good arch support, but with some flexibility.
I am going to keep these, not only because I already baked them, but because I will be able to wear these for shorter periods. I am ordering the "Molokini" model, and hoping that I will find what I am looking for in those.

I got these in a size 8, stainless/berry soda color. The fit is good for my foot, which is an 81/2 med. I have some issues of a fallen arch, some arthritis, ankle and knee pain (left side) and for these reasons I was looking for a pair of sandals which had good arch support, soft cushioning and good support. These sandals can be molded to your particular foot by placing them in the oven for a short while and then wearing them, so the sole takes up the contours of your foot. I had high hopes for these sandals, and to some extent my hopes were not unjustified, because these sandals are comfortable, but the arch is a bit too high for my foot, and the arch part of the sole is not pliable, so it stays too high, even after "baking". The soft cushioning I was hoping for is not there for the whole bottom part. So, the proportion is about 60% to 40%, 60 is the softer, pliable part, and the rest is the less yielding, harder part, such as the arch.I was hoping for a thick, bouncy bottom part, with good arch support, but with some flexibility.
I am going to keep these, not only because I already baked them, but because I will be able to wear these for shorter periods. I am ordering the "Molokini" model, and hoping that I will find what I am looking for in those.

I buy a new pair every season. Hate to get rid of some, but eventually they do stretch out. You can wash them in the washer and if you dry them in the dryer, they heat up and you can put them on to reshape them to your feet. I wear these shoes everywhere. I own them in every color as I never want to be without them. I can walk all day with them and be soooo comfortable. I rotate these sandals and as they get older I use them while gardening.
Merrell Men's Barefoot Rapid Glove Review
Very similar to normal Merrell Trail Gloves, but they are just too roomy and without laces you can't tighten them up on your feet.
Pros These are decent water shoes, with some arch support. Well made. They have a molded hard sole and good handle on the heel to pull them on. They are pretty comfortable once you have them on.
Cons They are HARD to get on. I wear a size 10.5, and I thought I would not be able to pull them over my foot. They do not stretch AT ALL. That said, once I am able to pull them onto my foot, the fit is correct at 10.5, and they fit comfortably and snugly. Also, the adjustable strap you see is for decoration only, it doesn't really do anything (so don't be fooled). The Arch support could be better. It is there, but it is minimal.
The real difference between these and the fancier ones is the arch support and sole inside the shoe. It is still minimalist, but better than the cheap ones. I MIGHT buy these again, but I would sure try on a few more before I do.

Normally I don't take the time to review products, but I felt I had to with this one. I purchased the 10.5 size. I had read that they were "very hard" to get on in some cases, and another review said that the strap was meaningless, that if you loosened it, there was no difference in the difficulty of getting them on your feet. Well, I have to disagree. At first I tried to put them on without loosening the strap and, yes, they were difficult to get on. But then I loosened the strap and they went on just fine. They do fit "true to size", and I'm glad they come in 1/2 sizes. I have a slightly wide foot and these fit perfectly. They have to fit snug around the top to keep out small rocks etc that are encountered in rivers, on the beach, in the water etc. Don' hesitate, buy em : )
Treksta Women's Evolution GTX Trail Running Shoe Review
I am a bartender and work long hours and these shoes were recommended to me. Great choice! No more leg cramps or sore feet and not more slipping on the wet tile floor. Also, they really are waterproof while letting your feet breath at the same time... Which is weird but it's true. I am not a young bartender anymore and after doing it for 27 years, 8-11 hour shifts, these shoes are the best.
