This is a good walking sneaker when it is wet out. The tread holds the road. It fits like the Saucony Bullet, just has tread. My preferred sneaker is the Bullet, but when it is wet or slippery, you need some grip on the road. Worth the money.

I ended up sending these back because the white soles looked funny with the cream trim everywhere else on the shoe. Also, they were too snug and lacked any kind of padding to walk on. I usually wear an 8.5 but ordered these in 9.5 which was still too small.

I bought there runners thinking they would be a nice bright red colour. However there are like a bright red/pinkey colour. They are nice and light on but I have normal width feet and they feel quite narrow in the width. You can loosen the laces to give you more width but I was surprised. I shall be keeping them and am pleased with them but thought I would let other potential purchasers know what I think.

They are so cute the only bad thing is the inside insert came out the 1st day and the side is velcro and can came undone easily but she just redoes it as she would have to with laces also.it's been 2 months and she still picks them over her other school shoes. To me these shoes is a good choice. I use it when I was training and also during races, and was very confortable. Its heavier than other shoes, but these are using for trial running.

Pretty stylish and comfortable. Seem kind of squishy with less support than I'm used to with Asics.

The sole has deep creases on the ball of the foot (guess it's supposed to help shoe flexibility) which decrease surface area contact with the ground when running on hard surfaces. I feel like the shoes don't grip the ground when sprinting. Like I'm slipping. I'm a bit disappointed.

UPDATE (3 months use): These are strictly trail shoes. They are NOT made for running on flat, wet surfaces; Like running on ice or snow. Terrible.

BUT, when running on grass or rough trail, they do well. They remind me of the old football cleats; made for the field, but try running on asphalt with football cleats. That's what these Puma's are like in wet weather.

If buying for field or dirt trail running; go for it. If buying for casual jogging on hard surfaces in all weather; avoid.

This was not the same item or picture that i ordered from online. i was able to work with the vendor to keep this product, but they had these on "sale" on their website for $101 and the published price on Amazon website was $135.08. They gave me the difference and i was somewhat stuck keeping the shoes since i did not want to return and pay the re-stocking fees. I was a little upset to have a different price quote and not the exact shoe i thought i was ordering. i understand Nike may change their styles/brands, but not sure i would have ordered these had the picture been correct and published/updated online.

i bought two pairs of sneakers for my daughter in a wide and while we love the look of these and how light they are they are harder to get on my daughters wide feet do to the elastic portion compared to her all velcro ones she has a high top arch to her foot and there is not enogh clearence for her to put them on by herself like her other shoes. but once they are on with a little help from mom or dad she is good to go that is why i gave then 4 stars. all parent know that when your kid is in the no i will do it myself stage this can be fustrating to them when something that is so siimple with one version of a thing becomes so hard for then due to the design.

I had to buy these in a Wide for my toddler. Even then, because the shoes are made of the thin mesh material, it is VERY difficult to get them on his bare feet, much less wearing socks. I love how flexible they are but they dig into my sons chubby ankles and he doesn't like how tight they are.

Great, and supportive at first but about 3 uses later, I began to have pains on the outer part of my feet. The pain then starts to build up towards the leg next to the cabs region. After five minutes of jogging, I begin to have these pains, in seven minutes, it's severe to the point i have to stop and rub my feet. I feel these would be somewhat better for climbing rather than running. As stylish these shoes may look, it is not recommend for what it suppose to help to do, running. Avoid Jordan running shoes.

I have been wearing Saucony for years. I found in the last few years their sizing has changed. I used to always be a 6 1/2. The last time I bought a 6 1/2, it was too big. I'm too lazy to return things so I gave it away. So I ordered a 6 this time and it's a little too small. It's like I'm in between a 6 and a 6 1/2. Really disappointed that they seem to have changed their sizing. I used to be a consistent 6 1/2 and could order their shoes online with confidence. Now I feel like I need to go to a store to try them on first. Bleh. I really dislike shopping but I can't rely on their sizing any more. I bought this particular shoe because it is waterproof. Can't return it because when I first tried it on it seemed to fit, but once I took my dogs for a walk, I realized it was too small. I thought maybe I needed to break it in, but after several walks and sore feet, I realize it's just too small.

I've worn Saucony running shoes for years and have been a size 10.5 for at least the past 4 years. I've had success with the Women's Powergrid Triumph 9 and the Women's Grid Propel Plus NxGen models, but this one ran at least half a size large on me.

Saucony is the only brand of sneaker I buy for exercise activities. This is the only pair that I've ever bought that fit terrible and in the weirdest place...the tongue of the shoe. There is extra padding in the tongue and sewed in place with elastic banding. The bulky-ness of the tongue and banding make the tops of my feet hurt after just a little while (and it makes it hard to tie the shoes tight). If I loosen the laces, my heels slip up and down. I will still buy Saucony sneakers just not this particular one/style.

First of all, I LOVE the fact that these are waterproof. The goretex is a fantastic feature and really is completely waterproof--great for running in the rain, through puddles, snow, etc. That said, I feel like this shoe is very rigid. I've owned the Guide series before, and while the footbed and arch support is very comfortable, I think it's going to take a long time to break these shoes in. Also, perhaps because the soles on these are meant for rougher terrain, they're not quite as springy as I'd like. Overall a comfortable shoe, but at least initially, not as easy to run in as I'd hoped.

I was expecting more cush but the air bladder beneath the sole was too stiff for my taste. also the shoe was only available in standard [too narrow] width despite the size [15] so I must wear skinny socks for my feet to fit inside of it. it is too costly and too much trouble to send them back so I am stuck with them. maybe I will find somebody else with long but skinny feet who can wear them. that would extract utility from the jaws of futility, at least.

If you are a runner and like to run long distance this is probably the best shoe Nike offers for runners! I run all the time on the treadmill and outdoors. I have done quite a bit of research because the nike 2.0 is popular among my friends, however they do more weight lifting. The Nike Free 5.0 is definitely more light weight and flexible than the 2.0. It also offers a lot more arch support for those of us who have really high arches! Another great thing is that the toe area is wider than most running shoes. (They may look like "duck feet" from the wearers point of view, but trust me it's for a good reason!)

When someone is running, the moment their foot connects with the ground on each step, all of the tiny bones in the foot need to be able to spread out, because the toe on this shoe is so wide it allows for that to happen. If the foot is constricted in a narrow shoe, the bones are going to grind together because they are not allowed the room they need, this can cause a lot of foot pain and more severe problems down the line. The Nike 2.0 is not as wide as the 5.0 and any training shoe isn't going to have this feature. If you are looking for great running shoe, or just a comfortable shoe that you can wear all day, this is definitely a great buy and well worth the money!

I now have 2 pairs of these shoes and wear them for working 8 hour shifts where I am walking/standing all day, and to the gym to run a couple of miles! Also this shoe fits true to size. If you're not sure of what size you should get, I would suggest getting half a size up! I wear 5.5 in sandals, and 6 in flats or heels, but in running shoes I always get a 6.5! That way they are never too snug and I can wear them with thin or thick socks!

I love the way this hiking boot feels. It's light w/ great support. HOWEVER, the black coating on the lace wore away after only 5 months of use. I purchased a replacement kit for $12 and it took me about 20 minutes to replace the lace because of the "unique" lacing system. It was bothersome enough that I doubt I'll buy another pair of Salomons w/ this lacing system. And laces should last more than 5 months.
