I would label myself as an unconventional runner. I jump off the pavement onto grass and wooded terrain. These shoes are great for both. The arch support is amazing. The heel is extremely well padded and comfortable. All together some amazing kicks!

To me these shoes is a good choice. I use it when I was training and also during races, and was very confortable. Its heavier than other shoes, but these are using for trial running.

Pretty stylish and comfortable. Seem kind of squishy with less support than I'm used to with Asics.

The sole has deep creases on the ball of the foot (guess it's supposed to help shoe flexibility) which decrease surface area contact with the ground when running on hard surfaces. I feel like the shoes don't grip the ground when sprinting. Like I'm slipping. I'm a bit disappointed.

UPDATE (3 months use): These are strictly trail shoes. They are NOT made for running on flat, wet surfaces; Like running on ice or snow. Terrible.

BUT, when running on grass or rough trail, they do well. They remind me of the old football cleats; made for the field, but try running on asphalt with football cleats. That's what these Puma's are like in wet weather.

If buying for field or dirt trail running; go for it. If buying for casual jogging on hard surfaces in all weather; avoid.

These look really distinct and feel extremely comfortable. I have somewhat wide soles and these seem to work very well for me. I got the orange color, looks great.

This my second puma from amazon and really nice piece. Slightly priced but fot who needs it money won't be an issue. Good colors and vert comfy. I walk aroun a lot at work (working in radiology) and for all hard vinyl floor puma is the prescription.
