I wear Adidas so I knew to order about a size larger than I wear in other running shoes. They have good arch support, which might be uncomfortable for people with flat feet. They are very light and provide good heel support. No complaints. Great shoe!

This is my second pair of these moccasins, and I love them. I usually wear an 8 or 8.5, but the 8.5 I currently own stretched out a lot, so I ordered the new pair a size down. These are so comfortable and incredibly durablebesides stretching, the only damamge to my old pair is from when I stepped in paint. I highly recommend these :)
PROS
-customizable in any waylaces can be easily replaced and be done up in any pattern you wish
-look great with anything and everything; the unisex casual sneaker that will even draw you the occasional compliment from coworkers or friends.
-lightweight compared to most shoes of today
-so many colorsfrom your basic core colors (black, red, green, blue, white, or pink) to different designs (60s tie dye, camo, skulls, flames, etc.)
-also different kinds of shoesfrom the classics to the newer double uppers, tear-aways (shoes with two layers of canvas, and some parts are already torn away to show the brighter underlayer), double-tongued, and also DIFFERENT MATERIALS like leather or suede.
CONS
-the color fades; especially in the harsh sun. My navy blue Taylors have been bleached to the color of very faded blue denim.
-the rubber parts of the shoe can get dirty rather quickly, but are easily cleanable.
-overall the shoe is pretty comfortable, but not recommended for prolonged running or a whole day on the boardwalk. It depends a lot on the shape of your footif your feet are flat, you'll find that these shoes are a match made in heaven. Otherwise you may have some issues, but not so bad they're unwearable.
-I don't know what it is about it, but they make your feet look bigger than they really are.
-NOT TO BE USED AS A SKATE SHOE. Converse shoes are made from canvas, which won't give you any mercy from runaway boards, and they do NOT have adequate cushioning on the top, bottom, or sides for such an activity.
NOTE: BUY A HALF-SIZE SMALLER THAN WHAT YOU'RE AIMING FOR. A Converse size 10 is, in reality, a 10 1/2.
ANOTHER NOTE: If this bothers you, then you should know. Chucks are no longer manufactured in the USA. They are now outsourced to other countries, mostly China. Your Chucks won't be falling apart on you or anything, but know that Converse is now a subsidiary of Nike, a company known to use sweatshop labor to make their shoes.

I LOVED these shoes and was very excited to get them. The shipping was exceptionally fast. My only complaint is the sizing. I am normally a size 7, and upon reading some reviews on another website that they run a tad large I got the smallest size down they had, a 6.5. They still ran very big, even with inserts. I think I would need a 5.5. My advice is if you are able to, try these shoes on in a store first. If they are a bit tight don't fret, the suede will stretch. I don't think I could wear them out without being worried about them constantly falling off. Being a Canadian resident it wouldn't be worth the shipping costs to send them back for a refund. I can't find these anywhere! Several sites won't even ship Minnetonka to Canada anymore. :(Best Deals on Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Hi Top With News Boys Logo Men's
"Chucks" are the only shoes that have ever existed. Ever since 1923, Chuck Taylor All-Stars have been "just a piece of rubber and canvas"they haven't changed one bit from the sands of time. These shoes are devilishly simple, and customizable in every way. Everyone may be wearing Chucks these days, but you can still make them your own. There are so many wayswhat color would you like? One of the core colorsblack and white? Monochrome black? White? Red? Green? Blue? Pink? How about the latest pattern or print? Every year Converse also pumps out new seasonal colors, and different styles such as double-tongued shoes, "tear-aways", faded looking ones, everything. You can buy different color laces or you can go crazy with a Sharpie and draw up some art all over your shoes. And for something seemingly so flimsy, they're pretty durable. My shoes have withstood countless running and hitting the asphalt, games of soccer, basketball, jumping from everywhere, the basic abuse a teen can dish out to his feet. Granted, they may not be too comfortable at first, but once your feet gets used to them, well, you don't even notice you're wearing them anymore. Nevertheless, it does have some setbacks, but if you look at modern shoes, you can see the differences in design. But for something from over 3/4 of a century ago, you've got to admit they're pretty darn impressive. The skinny:PROS

3-MONTHS UPDATE:
I am still happy with these shoes for the most part, but discovered a couple of things that warranted a downgrade to 4 stars.
1) When going sockless, the tongue cut both of my feet raw at the bend on the top of each foot after about 5K. The tongue is not padded all the way, the very edge is just thin faux leather. I thought it would be soft enough to flex with the foot, but it rubbed small cuts each time I went sockless.
2) The shoe is not as breathable as my NB 730 and MT110. It is still better than most of the running shoes out there, but definitely not the best in this category. This is especially noticeable if you go sockless the more "plasticy" inner material makes the moisture more noticeable against the skin compared to soft cloth-like liner of 730 and 110.
3) The shoe FEELS heavy and slow. I know it is not, it's lighter than the majority of running shoes out there, but it does not inspire fast running (not sure how else to describe it).
So as I said above I am still pretty happy and use them regularly in my rotation. I consider these to be excellent trainers, especially without the insoles the ground feel is fantastic, but would never use them even in a C-race.
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
Since shoe preferences are highly subjective let me first outline what I was looking for in order to explain where my 5 stars came from:
1) 4mm or less (preferably 0mm) heel-to-toe drop;
2) < 8 oz. weight
3) very breathable. Some people complain about shoes having so much mesh they get wet in the rain. I want my shoes not to RETAIN water and dry quickly. Any kind of waterproofing also means slower evaporation of your own sweat.
4) no arch support
5) an outsole thread that works on the variety of terrains and surfaces.
There are a few models now that have 1-4, but these in my view nail #5. I usually run 5-10K on asphalt. I also have an option of a hard-packed gravel trail 1 mile away from my house. I also have real woods with roots, scree and lots of switchbacks about 4 miles away. So I wanted a shoe that could take me from my door step through all of those conditions.
I use New Balance M730 for road and NB MT110 for real trails M730's sole is too smooth for anything but pavement, MT110 is too hard and knobby for roads. Plus both of those are 4mm heel-to-toe.
I've tried NB MR00 (super comfortable, but not enough traction), MT00 (too plastic, uncomfortable upper), Brooks PureGrit (hot, MAJOR traction issues), Skechers GoBionic (not very breathable, pick up large rocks and sticks), Merrell Trail Glove 2 (OK, but materials are not as good and comfortable as MR00) and Saucony Hattori LC (poor traction).
EVOs have very comfortable, almost plush upper on par with NB MR00 and the thread of the outsole is absolutely perfect for the mix of conditions described above. I would not run really technical trails in them but they roll very nicely on everything else.
Prior to trying these out, I used the Altra Men's Provision Running Shoe (zero heel to toe drop) for road and the Inov-8 Trailroc 245 Trail Running Shoe (3mm heel to toe drop) for trails.
The Provision has ample space in the toebox for me and has served me well in 7 of my half marathons this year. I've only had 1 trail half marathon this year with the Trailroc 245s, but those shoes are a little tighter on the toebox than I'd prefer. Basically, I was looking for the combination of the Provision and the Trailrocs that wouldn't dampen out the ground feel too much. Enter the EVO Lite.
I did some test runs around the neighborhood block with these shoes (on road) and they felt excellent. My feet did not feel tight and my toes had plenty of room to splay out. After a few more trials, I went for a 5k and nearly broke a long standing PR. So they performed very well on road, how about trails?
On July 4th, I entered into a 10k running uphill through North Tahoe Regional Park, eventually ending at the beach. This course had steep uphills and downhills as well. This was an exhilarating run and I could comfortably feel the terrain without any sensation of pain. These shoes are excellent for trails!
TL;DR These shoes are perfect for the minimalist runner looking for excellent barefoot feel on both road and trail terrain. Will be looking for more from Vivobarefoot in the future!

I was able to buy the Vivobarefoot Ultra Pure a while back for an incredible price, and after several days of use, found that I loved them so much that I decided to search out for a version which is more suited for distance running including trails. I came upon these EVO Lites as the latest iteration of the Vivobarefoot EVO lineup. Seeing as there were very few reviews at the time I had intended to purchase these, I decided to bite based on the reviews I read of previous iterations of the EVO II and EVO III. For reference, I have wide feet and am a minimalist runner who subscribes to the barefoot running style (still learning it, but have several months experience with it) with zero drop shoes.Prior to trying these out, I used the Altra Men's Provision Running Shoe (zero heel to toe drop) for road and the Inov-8 Trailroc 245 Trail Running Shoe (3mm heel to toe drop) for trails.

Cannot be more pleased with this shoe, but then have always been very satisfied with the fit and comfort of Merrell shoes.
The shoes held up well, they drain quick and dry quick which is what you need in a pair of water shoes. Great to cross rivers with when camping, in the rain forest etc. However I would not recommend to wear these long term. Buy a sturdy pair of hiking boots instead.

These are great shoes! They are comfortable for casual wear and also is a great water shoe, drains very quickly!Honest reviews on Merrell watersports shoes Maipo Waterpro grey
I used these shoes for 6 months straight, every day. I used them through water, mud and hiking. Although they are more of a water shoe than anything else I did put them through every terrain. They held up pretty well however 4 months of use and my achiles heel started aching. I experienced sharp pain while walking. Finally into the fifth month I went to the doctor and I was diagnosed with tendonitis. Doc gave me a cream for the tendon and said that with time it would heal. one month later it wasn't getting any better. I went to the store and bought myself a proper pair of walking shoes and a week later I started to heal. Two weeks later Tendonitis was gone and hasn't been back since I changed shoes. The shoes held up well, they drain quick and dry quick which is what you need in a pair of water shoes. Great to cross rivers with when camping, in the rain forest etc. However I would not recommend to wear these long term. Buy a sturdy pair of hiking boots instead.

For me this is quite a departure from the traditional running shoes I have used. They are very light weight. The shoe fits like a glove and very comfortable with no slippage. The heel impact is noticeably softer. Time will tell how much punishment the "four" shock absorbers will take. I am not so much interested in looks as I am shock dampening. That being said, the shoes appearance has led to several compliments from my gym buddies. The heel cup is nice and snug. I really like how it laces up. (Very even distribution and again no slippage). Even though it is a running shoe I am very happy with how comfortable and stable it is for walking around the gym and lifting weights. I think it is a great running shoe...more later jfmBest Deals on Nike Men's NIKE SHOX ROADSTER+ RUNNING SHOES

This is by far the best shoe I have ever bought. It has already accompanied me in several trails and long camping trip. Not once has it made me feel uncomfortable, blister, or excessively sweat inside. The traction is very great so a little bit of loose sediment or mud won't impede your way. You'll also be able to tell that this is one tough pair of shoes. I've worn it many times but it still feels brand new.
The waterproof lining is a great addition, but it won't stop water coming up and over. It won't keep your feet dry if you're crossing a stream that is taller than the shoe (duh), but that's what gaiters are for.
If you love the outdoors and have the cash, GO FOR IT.
p.s. just don't try to dance in them. you'll probably end up eating it because the traction is so good.
-The Gortex liner is great, but it isn't designed for marching in knee high snow.
-It isn't too hot and does allow my foot to breath. I live in Phoenix and when it is 115F, I don't want my feet to bake.
-Breaking in was easy; no blisters for me.
-The Vibram sole is awesome. It grips everything and doesn't rapidly wear.
-I just regret not buying them sooner. Well worth the money.

This is my second pair of North Face low cut shoes and after having the first pair for 3 years wearing them down to a nub, I was definitely going to get another pair. THe gortex lining inside is actually quite good at keeping your feet dry as long as the water is just a puddle. Very comfortable, took about 3-4 days to break in and had some minor blisters from all the walking so I suggest you wear them a day a week for a few weeks before a trip if that's where you will use them. Now they are soft and I wear them all the time. Good colour, the Gray doesn't look dirty as easily as the black does.Best Deals on The North Face Men's Hedgehog III GTX XCR Light Hiker

This is my third pair of North Face Shoes that I have purchased. Let me say that they are built to stand up to anything. I work in a warehouse/retail environment , that requires to be on my feet some 9 plus hours. My feet feel great from the time I put them on till I get home from work. Plus slipping a pair of orthotics in and they really feel good. The construction is well built and the sole has remarkable traction, even in wet conditions. I have a pair of athletic-style vivos, and the same thing I wrote about them applies to these leather shoes. I love them!
I'm not an athlete. I wear these shoes everyday. I have better balance. My joints no longer hurt. No back pain. I can be standing in my living room and feel the difference.
I love these shoes!
I recommend you buy a pair and wear them for a week or so. Just wear them, and see what you think.
Update: I did end up getting a small refund to cover repairs. It took 2 months after initially contacting them. I have upgraded the rating to 4 stars from 1.
Comfortable "barefoot" shoe. It used to be that comfort would be enough for me, but now there are so many options out there I thought I'd say a little of why this particular shoe disappoints me...
THE BAD
It squeaks. I bought this as a work shoe and there are two main problems: it squeaks on the floors at work (varnished cement) terribly, to the point where I am embarrassed to walk down the hall. The squeak hasn't gone away after months of wearing. Secondly, these just look dorky. The way the shoe is fat and rounded in front makes it look 'professional' only in the sense of 'professional clown.'
I don't normally order shoes on Amazon. The whole 'look and feel aspect' is impossible to judge. I had seen these shoes briefly in a shoe store, and I should've given them a better test there. I hope my feedback helps others trying to judge this shoe.
The GOOD:
* Super comfortable after being broken in for a couple weeks. Initially the heel was stiff and dug into my heel causing some irritation. They softened up nicely and are now incredibly comfortable.
* Very flexible with a wide toe box. Some people think it makes them look silly, but I think they look fine and so does everyone else I work with that I've showed them to.
The BAD:
* Kind of pricey for such a basic shoe really, but worth it for the comfort and feeling of being barefoot.
* With all of the flexing and bending that these shoes allow your feet to do, the leather starts to get noticeable flex lines in them as well as some separation of the rubberized sole from the leather upper in the forefoot area where your foot naturally flexes the most while walking. Not very noticeable, but something someone may notice. If Vivobarefoot could fix this issue, these would get 5 stars from me.
CONCLUSION:
Definitely worth buying. Incredibly comfortable for those who can't stand rigid shoes that feel like a splint on your foot. Sizing can be tricky but I lucked out with my first stab at it. I'm normally a size US 13 in all the other shoes I own. I went with the size EU 47m in these. They are maybe just a tad on the big side, but I prefer having the slightly extra wiggle room. With thick work socks they fit perfectly.
I'm not an athlete. I wear these shoes everyday. I have better balance. My joints no longer hurt. No back pain. I can be standing in my living room and feel the difference.
I love these shoes!
I recommend you buy a pair and wear them for a week or so. Just wear them, and see what you think.

I own a pair of their athletic shoes and love them. I bought these because I wanted to have a barefoot option for work. They took a few wearings to break in since the heel is so stiff but after that they felt great. Anyways after about 12 wearings I noticed the sole started to separate from the leather upper. I should also point out that my job is a desk job and I drive to work so it's not like they see a lot of walking/wear and tear. I've contacted the company twice and received no response back. I wouldn't buy these again, but I'm happy with their running shoes.Update: I did end up getting a small refund to cover repairs. It took 2 months after initially contacting them.
Honest reviews on Vivobarefoot Men's Ra Lace-up Shoe
I was sick of how uncomfortable and overly stiff most work shoes were. My foot would feel overly "splinted" and I hated it. I decided to give these a try after researching a bit on more minimalist approaches to business attire.

When I first wore these shoes they ripped the holy hell our of my heels. I still have heel scabs from them. After a week or two, however, my heels grew strong, powerful and I was able to wear these very attractive shoes without pain. They are very wide and give my feet the appearance of flippers, which I find both humorous and alluring. I like to wear them while I dance. The barefootness of them is elegantly done; they will not take away from the experience of almost walking without shoes, however they will protect your soles from sharp rocks, broken glass, rusty razor blades and scorpion attacks. I give them two thumbs up.Reebok Footwear Womens ATV19 Running Shoe Review

I'm on my feet a great part of the day, and walk on tile over cement. The cushion in these shoes really protects my joints.

I absolutely love these shoes! They are extremely comfortable to run in and they are so cushy! The little yellow circles also grip the pavement really well so it feels like you can easily take off and sprint whenever you would like and the shoes will help you. The only regret I have is telling myself before I bought them that I would only wear them for workouts... I know they would be heavenly to walk around in all day too! I had 2 pairs of Barricade team 2 shoes and liked them very much except the holes in the sides tended to wear out.
These team 3 Barricades are ok and they fixed the side issues but they are not as well make as the team 2. The tongue is thinner and the number of lace holes is only 6 instead of 7 which means you have to lace them up tighter in order to have them not slip. One you do that with the thinner tongue it presses on the top of the foot more. The pros are that they do fit pretty well, are light, stable and resist ankle turning very well. By the way, theses are made in Viet Nam, and the team 2's were make in India.
