Best Skechers for Work Women's Air-Revvolution Sneaker Deals
I work in a warehouse so pallets and boxes with concrete flooring. A crazy amount of walking is also involved. These shoes, although light and comfortable, were neither slip resistant or work sturdy. Constant use of concrete floors make them very slippery and these shoes let me down a few times. Mostly while pivoting and during quickened pace jaunts through the warehouse. Four months of ownership and I have almost walked through the toe portion on the bottom and through the inside soles. I am disappointed how fast they gained scratches that can't be buffed out as well. Being a supervisor I need shoes I can work in and look decent, these shoes were not it.

I work up to 9 hours in a high paced restaurant, and these have been very solid and comfortable. I've tried slip resistant shoes ranging from the cheap Walmart brand, up to Shoes For Crews. They are just as comfortable as SFC, and priced comparably. I'm opening a bakery and need some good shoes. I ordered these and tried them on. They are extremely cushioned in the footbed and felt amazing there! BUT I couldn't get past the fact that the front of the shoe curls upward which is really uncomfortable on my toes and makes me feel like I'm a little off balance. I wore these only three times and the heel tore. I hadn't even run in them yet. I went for a few 4 mile walks, just to break them in before running with them. The heel broke on the outside of the sneaker underneath the "gel bubble", in between where the white part of the heel meets the black part of the sole. These white and black parts are separate, unlike some other sneakers where the entire sole is all one piece; the two parts are only held together by some glue.
These seemed like they would be a nice, lightweight upgrade from my old running shoes too. For $80 I would have liked something sturdy enough to handle WALKING 12 miles. A further inspection of the shoe made me see that the "lightweight material" is just code for "cheap and flimsy". Although the sneaker is still functional, I'll have to replace the pair in the next couple of months.
Expected much better from Asics.

These are great shoes. I am a 45 year old male in moderate to good health and these shoes helped me train for and compete in a half iron-man. I typically am a back of the pack finisher, but my goal is to have a better finish in this year's triathlon.The shoes provide great support, are light, and have performed well even in rainy weather.

Once again I now understand why this shoe is a must for avid runners. The overall weight (compared to 993's), cushion (compared o Nike's), and the style offers the complete package for the recreational runner. My normal run time of 6-7 minute miles are easily accomplished wearing the Nimbus 9. The product that I purchased between the 8 and 9 were the Asic 2130, not even close. Very good shoes. Just a touch stiffer than I would prefer, but that may mean that I prefer inappropriate shoes. great cushion.
K-Swiss Men's Blade-Max Stable Running Shoe Reviews
In full disclosure I did not buy these from Amazon, had to order them at a local shop. Have only been for a couple of short-medium length runs in these but love them. Light enough and great comfort and cushioning for the clydesdale class (size 14 6'4" 210 here). Only possible issue I have seen is the tongue tends to bunch a little on the inside but so far has not been an issue actually running, can't even feel it really. Very smooth stable run and zero friction issues. They compare very well to other $140+ stability shoes I have bought in the last year or so. As always, get at least a half size bigger for running shoes.
It has been a year, so I'm buying a second pair a steal at $95! And they have other colors other than something you would see Ronald McDonald wearing!
If I had done more research I might have seen that they have an extra layer of sole material on the inside for over pronation (I guess I'm closer to supination). In any event the white material on the outside of the sole looks and wears like marshmallow.
So I personally have to give it a 2 star because I will soon need to buy another (different) pair. They were a bad choice for me. Pronate runners may be better off. They are comfortable, no question.

I am a larger guy (about 210) so did some research on a sturdy shoe for comfort. I am hard on shoes, tending to wear out the outer heal quickly. These shoes fit the bill fine at first. They were, and still are, very comfortable. However I have only 95 miles on them and they are every bit as worn as my last pair had at 310 miles (those were Brooks Ghost 5).If I had done more research I might have seen that they have an extra layer of sole material on the inside for over pronation (I guess I'm closer to supination). In any event the white material on the outside of the sole looks and wears like marshmallow.
So I personally have to give it a 2 star because I will soon need to buy another (different) pair. They were a bad choice for me. Pronate runners may be better off. They are comfortable, no question.

They don't grip the Ice as good as Yak Trax, but at least they are built sturdy enough to last. Over all, I'm satisfied with the product and think it's worth the money.

Nice, durable, well-made product that absolutely does not work. The chains roll underfoot, and they slip on ice as though you were wearing skates. I got these after getting a pair that had spring and rubber on the bottom of my boots. Those worked well on snow and ice, but some of my walking is on a road which took a toll on the rubber. I purchased these to put on my Salomon winter boots to wear for snow clearing when my first pair of YakTrax broke. For pushing snow around I did feel they worked really well except that snow really balled up on the metal when it was really cold and Within a couple of weeks of use a metal rivet had pulled through the rubber and the chains were flopping. I'm not sure if this is typical or just a faulty pair, but I'm going back to Yak Trax this year because I was able to get a couple of pairs of Yaktrax pro from Eddie Bauer for less than the price of one pair of ICE Trekkers. Unlike some of the other ice handling pull-ons, these have steel chains that cover the entire bottom of the shoe or boot. There is always some steel in contact with the ice giving improved traction. They go on relatively easily, although centering the chains can take some effort. The rubber strap keeps the chains tight on the boot without any protruding parts to interfere with walking.
Cheap Clarks Men's Quantock Run GTX Oxford
This is a great everyday shoe. However, like all Clark shoes (for me) it tends to run a bit large. I normally wear a size 13 in athletic and casual shoes and had to order a 12 in this shoe. The 13s were way too long.
Like most shoes/boots made with Gore-tex, they tend to run a bit hot in warm weather, but this feature is a bit of a plus in the winter, and your feet don't get wet.
other than that these shoes are solid, great for hiking, they are a bit heavy!!!

The boot is on the narrow side overall; you will need a half size up from you're normal size most definitely. It's a mid ankle boot and there is rubbing above the ankle. On the upside, the boot is sturdily made and the arch support is pretty nice. The quality and make up is definitely there, but I feel the overall comfort of the boot is just average. Cheap Fila Men's Calcio II Soccer Shoe

Well, I am a goalie, so I am really not an expert in soccer shoes. But anyway, this shoe is comfortable to wear and performs well on grass field. We play football every week so I don't use it regularly. It was pretty tight the first time I wore it but it does loosens up with every usage. It's a pretty Fancy design but you can actually feel the cleats underneath your foot as you are running. It's only 30 bucks so I cant expect the comfort level of an Adidas costing 200 or something but bottom line, for the money, its totally worth it.

This is a beautiful shoe that I would have loved to wear for trail hiking and everyday commuting, but it is only useful for people with narrow feet. I have a wide toe box and narrow heel there are EXTREMELY few shoes available for my foot type. Kudos and dollars will go to the shoe maker who makes comfortable, attractive, useful walking shoes for people like us... There isn't much competition in this foot shape. Somebody please make shoes for us! (well, there are some but they are either ugly or poorly made or not for trail use)

Great shoes for running out of the house. Slip on easily and look great. These are strictly a fashion shoe. Not much in cushioning or support but there is an attempt at an arch support. I recommend these if your looking for a great slip on to walk the dog or run errands. If you want an athletic shoe, look elsewhere.

One thing I don't like to skimp on are shoes (and mattresses, don't skimp on mattresses either!). My son, and his ever-growing feet, needed a new pair of athletic type shoes. This is a nice basic running shoe--neutral in mechanics and well made. For sizing I go to the manufacturer's website to check, then I round up. Partly because he is growing, and partly because running shoes tend to need that.
In any case, these are well made, well designed and have a neutral mechanics (which I feel is important for growing kids...unless they already have an obvious mechanics issue I would not want to mess with them).
I also liked that the vendor was Amazon itself which means Prime/super saver shipping and the great customer service if needed. For things like running shoes this is not always the case and it is important to check the rules (and costs) associated with partner vendors. For this item I would keep an eye on that in case the default vendor changes (this is not part of the 'star' scoring...the 5 stars are all about the shoes).
Highly Recommended (for those who put shoes on their paws)

I have problems with my feet, I have a really high arch, as well as other problems like a wide foot. It takes me forever to find "The Right Shoe" This shoe is light weight for me there are others that are more light weight but they hurt my feet. But to me these are the lightest shoe that you can run, walk, or walk on a treadmill. They are worth every penny. Although right now on Amazon they are like $189 but I'm sure the price with come down but when writing this today it's for that price. I found them at Hibbett's on sale for $99 regular $190.
