I like this running shoe and the price was right. I have tried many of the Asics and all of the one's I have tried seem to be of the highest quality.

I am a slightly older runner and I get injured more. So far nothing more than occasional aches and pains. This shoe is a great stabilizer. I like the cushioning as well.This shoe weighs more.Better as a trainer than a race shoe. Perhaps I will chose a different one to race in .

My son had seen these shoes in stores, but only in ugly colors. He found them on Amazon and ordering & delivery was easy. He loves how they feel, mom loves how they look. He, like my husband and me, has high arches. They support his arches and are comfortable when he's on his feet all day.

I was very enthused to receive this product, and got it for $125. The quality is superb, and the details are great. And, in a cool setting I am sure the lining comes in handy. My concern and reason for returning was the high arch just did not fit my foot. Otherwise, these would have been keepers. Alot of little things are done well, quaility leather, leather arch inlay, top cap, grommets around laces, lining, first class.

Mizuno Men's Wave Alchemy 12 Running Shoe Reviews

I've always had trouble buying shoes that allow me to be in them for extended periods of time without having foot pain. I have flat feet and tend to over-pronate when I walk or run. I used to wear orthotics all the time, but this is very expensive. After much research, I decided to give these shoes a try. They are really great. I went with the 2E and the toe box is plenty big enough, but the shoe still feels like it fits appropriately (not too loose). They are super light weight. They best feature is the control they provide when walking and running. This really is a great shoe. I'm going to give them a month or so more and if they continue to hold up and feel great, I'll likely buy an extra pair for later.

I'm writing this review after running in the Mizuno Alchemy 12 shoe for 370 miles. I was fitted for this shoe in a running store and paid the full list price for them. I've had no experience with the previous Alchemy versions or the Mizuno brand before this purchase. I'm right under 6' and weight right at 200. The last few years I had been running in a heavy pair of 1201 NB. My running distance has increased 2 to 3 times what I had been running and I needed a shoe that was light but still provided support. I'm running 30-35 miles a week. I run three times a week; a 6 mile, 8 mile and then one long run between 16 to 23 miles. During the course of every week I run on a number of different types of surfaces. My 6 mile runs are all sidewalks and asphalt. My 8 mile runs are 1/2 off road, crossing several creeks, lots of mud but no single trail. My shoes are filthy with sand and mud after this run so I throw them in a cold wash with my running clothes and then air dry. My long runs include a lot of hills and are usually entirely off road with a third of the distance on single track trails. One thing I can't do in these shoes is run without socks. There is a inseam right where the arch of my foot is. The inseam is not coarse or stiff and I can't figure out why it bothers me but I always get a blister from it. For me these shoes have held up great. They are not "trail" shoes but at least 1/2 my time is spent off-road and have done just fine. I have raced three times in them a 10K road race as well as two trail races of 10 and 16 miles. I was very happy with them in all races. I expect that they will still be holding up great in a few weeks when I use them for a 27 mile trail race.

Even with all the washing these shoes have held up remarkably well. No tears, rips, fading on the outside including the shoe strings. The inside and insoles are holding up great. For all the different types of terrain the tread has held up great. I suspect that spending over 1/2 my time off-road has been easier on the soles. The shoes are doing so well that I plan on pushing them to the 500 mile mark before replacing them. At 200 pounds I'm considered a heavy runner and I it's great to get 500 miles out of a pair of shoes.

Thanks to the previous reviewers. I was looking at purchasing a previous version of this same shoe because it was so much cheaper. However, realizing that this model is so much different than the previous versions I decided to stick with this version of this shoe as it is working for me.

This is a motion control shoe for flat feet. The Alchemy 10 and 11 are not for severe overpronation. This explains the hardness and narrowness. It is a great flat foot shoe though!

I wear and really like the Alchemy 11's so I decided to order the 12's as a second pair. The 12's are nothing like the 11's in that they run smaller in the length and width, and do not have the same cushioning. I assume a larger size may have fixed the sizing differences however the 'hardness' of the soles were the deal breaker. They were returned.

The minimus is just what it says, a minimal shoe to imitate the feel of walking or running barefoot. I am not a fan of the five fingers, but love the concept, so this New Balance gives me that in a great looking shoe. I am a former educator, and thought I walked a lot then, but now that I'm in retail, and some days I walk for 7-8 hours straight. I have worn the minimus for several days now and my feet and back feel better after walking all day than they ever do after wearing a shoe with "support." I travel a lot and know this will be my "go to" shoe for travel.

These are perfect shoes for someone with narrow/low volume feet who needs arch support. They conform to my foot very well and the arch support is better than what I get with an orthotic insert. Despite the snug fit the toe bed is roomy and the length is true to size (I am a 9 in most boots and running shoes, and the 9 is just right). I use them mainly for very long walks (3-4 miles) and my feet feel great when I'm done. They are also very lightweight so are easy to pack for traveling. I have the grey color, very attractive and looks more like a "regular" shoe than a running shoe when worn under pants.

I can't believe i found a pair of comfortable minimalist shoes with a totally normal, neutral colored upper! yay!

Okay, so lately my feet have been getting used to and really liking (certain) minimalist shoes. I have tried many & settled on a few that I like. But I have been desperately looking for a pair of comfy minimalist shoes that are aesthetically pleasing in a neutral tone for daily wear. NOT an easy thing, let me tell you. Most running shoes, especially the minimalist style ones, are athletic colors like blue/black/grey or VERY BRIGHT NEON colors---which is not really my thing & certainly not something I want to be wearing all day every day. I have some asics in dark gray with green & yellow contrast that are cute and I love the fit (neo 33's), and a pair of New Balance WT10's in a more subdued light grey with yellow contrast, and as far as running shoes go lately they are way less obnoxious looking than most. I am quite happy with the fit of both pair but I really don't want to be limited to wearing those colors every day.

I saw these during my internet searches but decided to pass on them initially, i instead tried a few others that i really liked the look of. I ordered a pair of minimalist style Merrell's that are a beautiful maroon color, I love the styling and they had very good reviews...it turns out they were SO stiff in the upper and they were cutting my ankle bone, aside from that I didn't really dig the feel of the footbed. Then I tried a pair of brown Onitsuka tigers which are made by asics, traditionally the Onitsukas get great reviews for their comfort and I own a pair of asics that I love so I gave it a go.....ugh. they too were uncomfortable, it felt like the inner arch was pressing in HARD on my foot, even with my foot still raised in the air---then when I stood up-ouch! Sadly both pairs had to go back.

Since I already know that my feet like another pair of New Balance WT10's, I decided to try these. They have that big New Balance "N" in the design, I wasn't sure I would like that and also the contrast color looked greyish on my monitor. So I had passed on them previously. But at this point they seemed like my best option since I seem to have picky feet. I knew the fit might turn out to be different due to the upper being made of leather, but I ordered them with my fingers crossed that they would fit the same as my other WT10 pair...

I just got them in the mail today and they fit true to size, i'm an 8 in my other pair & got these in 8 and the fit is perfect. The leather upper feels a little more stiff than the other pair i own around the tongue/ankle part, I can feel it with my fingers when I put them on because the other pair are thin material, very soft & pliable. But I found that it's not detectable to my feet or ankles when i'm wearing them. It doesn't rub or press in on my ankle or constrict the top of my foot when I walk. No blisters have formed & I do not have any pain or discomfort. They are keepers. Granted i've only used them for walking around the house & running errands so far, but they are excellent for that purpose and that is what I was looking for. (It's possible they might need a bit of breaking in for long or intense workouts due to the leather upper, if i ever use them in such a capacity I will update my review to report my findings.)

And as for the color, they are a deep dark brown color with a light tan contrast. Again, it was hard for me to tell what color was, I was hoping for tan but was afraid it might turn out to be the weird light greyish hue that appeared on my computer monitor. Rest assured that they are in fact dark brown with tan and the "N" in the design doesn't bother me at all. They look better in person than online. In fact I think they look great, I really wish they made these shoes in more earthy tones like tans, maroons, greens...I would buy them all :)

Bought these to replace my Adidas Spinner 7 Mids, because the tournaments and leagues I am playing in right now do not allow metal cleats anymore. While comfortable, these shoes present 2 major problems:

1. The shell:

The shell is made from an unknown velourized material (not leather, and I wasn't expecting leather for that price) that that acquires the clay's brick color after 2 seconds on the dirt. This means that half the shoe looks orange, while the plastic decorative bits remain shiny. Not a killer look.

Besides, it is difficult to clean after the game. The old shoes required a lightly damp cloth.

2. The real issue NOT DIRT-PROOF:

Doesn't matter how tight the lace is, dirt and gravel manages to sneak inside the shoe between the tongue and the shell. These are poorly designed shoes, and I am curious as to how Adidas allowed them to be sold in the first place.

Iceburg really knows how to create an effective snow and ice running shoe. We run in the mountains of colorado all year long. In Spring, with the low humidity, snow only melts in the direct sun. The rest turns to solid ice! These shoes allow you to run seamlessly on ice, snow, rock, and dirt -all brilliantly. The icebug Pytho2 has series of slightly retractable spikes, these spikes enable you run over hard packed snow and ice without having to slow down or change your gait.

I have worn these shoes for over 150 miles now throughout the winter of 2012-2013. We have had a lot snow, frozen rain and freeze thaw cycles making for slippery conditions underfoot. Wearing the Icebugs I have been able to plow through these adverse conditions without fear of falling. The Pytho is a low drop shoe with a rather stiff midsole, its best suited for trails and shorter ice infested urban runs. I have ran up to 10 miles on the streets in them, they are easier to run in then YakTrax but running on the treated streets is not my favorite activity in these shoes. I have ran up 20 miles on hard snow packed and ice covered trails, thats were these shoes really shine. Tonight I ran in near blizzard conditions on the Lake front trail, I did not have to worry about ice and water resistant upper works well when you get caught in a snow drift.

The shoes look to be very durable, I am sure they will last many seasons, making the seemingly high price point become a relative bargain. The midsole is a little hard and inflexible, thats why I rating them 4/5. The fit a little large, but in the winter I like to wear slightly thicker smart wool socks, I got mine true to size and they fit fine.

Did 15 miles in my new Icebug Pytho2 BUGrip trail shoes. Started on the asphalt trail, which had been plowed, for the first 3 miles. The next 4 miles had 4" to 6" of snow. A littler respite over the last 1/2 miles to the turnaround point. On the way back we met a tractor plowing the trail, so the return trip was on asphalt with patches of snow 1/2" to 1" deep. A little bit of ice under the snow but nothing dangerous. The shoes fit me well and nothing chafed or rubbed. They are water resistant so my feet stayed fairly dry. The carbide spikes built into the soles provided great traction and security. I was confident running down the steepest hill on the route despite it being unplowed. I tried a different Icebug model on the previous Tuesday doing hill repeats on a an asphalt trail with 1/2" to 1" of slick snow and had good traction at all times. For winter conditions, these are great trail shoes. I think they'd also be good on muddy and soft trails.

I started training for a half marathon in August and tried 3 different sneaker styles before I landed on these AMAZING shoes! It literally is like running on a cushion the entire time. They feel great on the treadmill and even better outside on the harder surface. Just ran 8 miles in them today and decided somewhere during those miles that I HAD to write a review so others knew how fantastic they were! The price that Amazon offers them at is just icing on the cake to me, especially since I've seen other highly praised running shoes go for sometimes four times the price of these! I 42+ hours a week as a waitress and have had lower back/hip issues on and off for years. I'm always looking for good work shoes. I could never stand wearing the same pair of shoes 2 days in a row I'd always end up sore on the second day. I saw that these were good for people on their feet for long periods so I ordered my first pair. I loved them so much I ordered another pair a few weeks later. These are now the only shoes I will wear to work. My feet NEVER hurt even after 15 hour shifts. I don't see a need for insoles anymore either. And my hips & back seem to hurt less as well. This shoes are amazing. Highly recommend

Buy Saucony Women's Progrid Xodus 2.0 Trail Running Shoe

I am a Saucony girl. I have appreciated in the past that I know what size to buy and that my feet will not hurt in my Saucony shoes.

These shoes do NOT run true to size and seem to be made on a different last than my prior Sauconys. They are extra narrow at the widest part of my foot and cause me pain on a callous that I have on my right foot. I have several other pairs of Saucony trail running shoes in the same size, and do not have this problem.

I wish Saucony would have noted that this was not made on the same last as some of their other shoes.

I am an underpronator and as such I put more weight on the OUTSIDE of my foot. While many people are overpronators and roll too much toward their big toes, I have the opposite issue. I also have high arches and am prone to instep and tendon pain. Thus, I need a shoe for underpronators, that is flexible and highly cushioned.

This shoe was advertised as such by Saucony. However, I find it NOT cushy. It feels hard and unflexible. I have pain on my callous and in my instep and pain going up the back of my heel when I wear these (not often!)

The pros they look nice the color is attractive, and for a trail shoe, it should hide dirt well. It also appears to be well made, even though it does not have the qualities that I need in a shoe.

Sadly, I waited to long to return them I kept thinking they may work out. Now I am going to keep trying to get them broken-in...but may end up donating them.

This shoe is good looking, the sole is kind of stiff and I was hoping for a higher arch support. It is true to size, very light but I feel the shoe could have better cushioning. Its a great shoe to go on long walks but not if you do a lot of running.

I am not a runner but, I am a fitness trainer. I train outside and inside, as well as teach group fitness classes. I thought these shoes were really cushiony which is very important to me since I teach pool classes on a cement deck! I also like that they are warmer than some of my other shoes and and give more support. I wear these more in the cooler or wetter weather than some of the my other more ventilated shoes. Saucony has always been a favorite of mine and these shoes took it to the next level! I found them true to size as I am usually an 8.5. Seriously considering a second pair I like them that much!

I love these shoes. This is my second pair...I also have them in black and pink. True to size and excellent bright colors. Even the laces are high quality. The only cons about them is that my other pair wore down quite fast (however, I do a lot of running) and I don't feel like they are a fantastic trail shoe. But as a running shoe in general...excellent shoe!

Although I love Saucony products, this shoe did not pass the test for comfort and flexibility. Wearing this shoe feels much too constricting on my feet. After wearing these for about 15 minutes my feet actually began to feel numb and it is not because the shoes don't fit me correctly. The shoes do their job on the trails though. They grip very well. I'm sure as Saucony refines this specific type of shoe they will learn what works and what doesn't. Don't get me wrong, this shoe looks really nice, but it just isn't a shoe you'd want to wear for a long period of time.

Best Naturalizer Women's Fiorenze Loafer Deals

I usually wear 7 in flats and 7.5 W in sneakers with socks on. I have bunions and the width was fine for the toe box, but my big toe felt like it was squished and rubbing on the outside. Maybe a 7.5 would work, but they just weren't as cute in person as I thought they'd be so I won't reorder.
