My daughter chose these shoes because they look like lace up shoes, but do not require tying (the lace part is just for show, they close with a velcro strap). I was happy to find that the shoes were available in wide width. My daughter says they are comfortable, and they have very worn well so far (1 month).

Review of Puma Men's Faas 250 Evaporate Running Shoe
these shoes are very small mold, skin tight left me, I am 11 1/2 and all related marks are either me or a little comfortable but with this brand puma, or will the shoe is really very little left to me tight ... did not taste much
As casual shoes, these have several strengths:
1. They're extremely light and comfortable.
2. They breathe very well; they're perfect for hot weather.
3. For laceless shoes, they fit quite securely.
However, there are definitely some negatives that you should be aware of if you're considering buying these:
1. If the weather is cold and/or wet, do not wear these. The same ability to breathe that makes them so comfortable in the summer will absolutely soak your feet within minutes in the rain. These are not water resistant in any way whatsoever.
2. They are not incredibly sturdy. I've worn mine for about nine months now and there is quite a bit of wear. They're about halfway between a solid, sturdy shoe and a disposable paper slipper.
3. The colors are just ridiculously loud. I opted for the blue ones, thinking they'd be a more solid blue, however they're very light grey and baby blue. I can't wear these with jeans without feeling utterly ridiculous. Actually, I can't wear them with shorts either, unless I pretend that I've just come from a run. Then I don't just feel ridiculous, I am ridiculous.
I do like them, overall. I just don't find them to be very practical for day to day wear.
They were well made but lok bulky when worn.

Great attempt by Puma at a triathlon type running shoe. I wear a 13-14 typically and this shoe was too small at a 14. I also googled and googled to try to find the heel toe drop on this product and couldnt find it. When I tried it on at home I thought it to be fairly high 10-12+ mm differential (based on feel) for how "low profile" the shoe appeared to be. Could be good for someone just starting out in triathlon/running if it fits your foot. The shoes are very good for running and sports, they are very soft and flexible. Overall they are comfortable! Quality is good. The sole is thick and the shoe may fit snuggly but the material "puffs" out, losing that sleel look I prefer.They were well made but lok bulky when worn.
Buy Brooks Women's PureCadence 2 Lightweight Running Shoes
I recently purchased these shoes and after just a few runs I can already tell they will be my new shoe. I have always liked the idea of a minimalist shoe but after straining the tendons on the top of my foot running in Vibrams I went back to regular running shoes. After two years I developed back pain and realized I needed to refine my running stride to land more on my toes rather than my heel. Well, regular old running shoes didn't cut it for me anymore. The front of my foot would start to go numb after just a few miles and the tendons in my feet started becoming more and more sore. So, I knew I needed a minimal shoe but still needed support in my arch and on the top of my foot. These shoes are perfect!! They are comfy, light, support me where I need it and no more numb toes!
My only regret expressed to Brooks, and word of caution to users, is that they do not come in a wide width. My feet are rather squared on the end and borderline too wide for regular width in Brooks shoes, and while there is plenty of room in the toe box for them, there was a small place on the instep of the shoe that after running several miles began to rub my instep on my right (and wider) foot. Now that the blister has healed I have a little callous there, so I no longer have the issue. But be warned if you have wider feet, these may not work for you. I hope Brooks will make a slightly wider PureCadence in the future.
On a shallower note, I really like the bold color choices in this line.

I purchased these from a local running store because I was nervous about not getting to try them on first. I have been wearing Brooks Adrenaline for a couple years now with much success. I got them at the advice of my doctor because I had been having extreme trouble with plantar fasciitis. I was nervous about switching because I've been so successful with the adrenalines. I am so delighted with the change! The PureCadence has a dropped heal, which is intended to make the foot strike midfoot and give you a smaller, more natural stride. I felt the change in my calf muscles after my first run, but now I don't notice any difference at all. I feel the lower heel even keeps my plantar fascia at a better stretch and is improving. I think my speed is also improving in these shoes. I am not losing any of the support, but the shoe is lighter and more natural.My only regret expressed to Brooks, and word of caution to users, is that they do not come in a wide width. I bought this shoe because I own 2 pairs of the Brooks Pure Cadence, both of which I ran marathons in. I just took my Pure Cadence 2 for a 9 mile run and they are not nearly as comfortable as the original shoe. There seems to be added arch support which gave me blisters in my arches (something the Pure Cadence didn't do) and it feels like they are a different material on the inside of the shoe which makes my foot slip around a bit more. These are my second pair, and they're excellent running shoes. They have a transitional heel, which supports good running mechanics without some of the discomfort of truly flat heeled shoes. I have had these for a few weeks and they keep getting better. The first two days I used them (the break in period) was necessary to soften the skeleton in the sole of the shoe. Since I pronate some it seemed the inner edge of my heel nearest the arch made constant contact with the plastic footbed where it rises slightly. Once this area seemed to break in and give a little more the hot spot went away. I have been reaping the benefits of this great runner ever since. The sole has very good wear characteristics, the relief cuts in the tread are not cracking or look to be a potential weak point I would say the sole is; flexible & grippy, yet does not transmit the sharp edges of terrain to your foot. The material is very resistant to trail damage while being protective in the thick areas around your toes and heel cup. Also so far the waterproofing doest not allow water through even though it does not shed off the material may look wet but you are comfy, dry, and well ventillated in spite of the waterproofing in the material. If this keeps up I may buy another pair!! UPDATE 10/08/09 shoes no longer water resistant, they have not been washed or treated in a way this should occure so quickly but that my latest news.

I walk 4-6 miles a day, 3 days a week while alternating 3 days with a Merrell boot. With nearly eight months in the shoe, I must say that it is the MOST comfortable athletic shoe I've ever worn. I bought it for its weather resistance but have not really used it preferring the Merrell boot for rainy days. The design is unique as there are no hot spots or rub spots like in all the shoes I've had in my lifetime. This shoe was recommended by my personal trainer and I have to admit at first I was skeptical but after using for 6+ miles a day for a month I LOVE THEM! I was skeptical because the available sizes forced me to go to a man's shoe where I'd grown accustomed to buying ASICS in wide and long sizes for women. Also my PT had vetoed several of my selections of trail runners because of the mesh and she is admittant that wet feet make for miserable training. I got these shoes about eight months ago... and have logged a few hundred miles in them.I'm just a working stiff who likes to run three miles on the park trail near my house after work.
I'm no triathlete... but I wanted a high quality comfortable shoe because I spend a lot of time on my feet at work too.
These shoes have been excellent... super comfortable, if not super light... plenty of room up front. My 11.5s fit true to size.
They have worn incredibly well... probably should replace before the year is out... because after a couple of hundred miles most running shoes are at the end of their service life, I have found... but these are super durable... very water resistant, and still look fairly decent,
I highly recommend these shoes if you run off-pavement.

Perhaps the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. It will however wear out in less than a year of daily use... due to the use of thin layers of material which contact the ground.If you walk/run a lot, it is always recommended to utilize a good quality hard orthopedic insert in the shoe. Don't waste your money on gel inserts unless you only walk around the office from time to time.
But seriously, the Peal iZUMi with its slipper-like feel and wrap around lacing system make this the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. The water resistant material also makes it ideal for some short bad weather exposure; keeping your feet dry and comfy.

We have lots of soccer playing kids in our house so I'm always on the lookout for cute inexpensive cleats. These are adorable! My daughter usually wears a 12 in tennis shoes and we had to exchange for an 11.5 which fits perfectly. So I did think the sizing seemed a little bit big. Quality is mediocre, the shoe body is pretty plastic-y and by the end of summer one of the seams was starting to come apart. But, cleats never last for more than a season in this house anyway so for us it was great. PUMA Voltaic 3 NM Running Shoe Review

I purchased these Puma's at at well known outlet (FF). I paid $70.00 for them. You can about imagine the frustration I felt when I could've boughten the same tennis shoes here, at a greatly reduced price! I was looking for a shoe to wear to the gym, & to get back into trail running. So far so good, I've worn these about 10 times on elliptical trainer, etc., & walk 2 miles every morning for the past month. These kicks are springy! I like the little nodules on the bottom, the first week it felt like they were actually propelling me a little bit. The tongue is also nice & snug (not loose, has elastic attachments). These also fit very true to size for me. I've started grabbing them to run to the store or to shop in bc of the comfort. Haven't tried trail running yet bc of an injury, but I have a feeling they're going to work out. Cheap Nike Men's NIKE LUNARGLIDE+ 4 RUNNING SHOES
The fit in just I expected them too. It is easier to get around Nike sizes if you already own a pair. The colors look perfect, exactly like in the picture which is what I wanted. They're very comfortable and as soon as I put them on I felt like running outside (too bad it was snowing). Definitely one of the best pairs I've ever owned.Just a good show. Right size, light, and very comfortable. I always like Nike shoes with bright coloring on the soles.

I still remember the first time I slipped on a pair of 991s, it felt like putting on a pair of socks fantastic. That was a couple of decades ago and I have not purchased a different brand or style of running shoe since then.
I was a bit surprised when New Balance discontinued the foam cushining 991 and replaced it with the gel cushioned 992. It took a bit of getting used to but I made the transition to 992s. With the 992s also came the option to get several different colors of 992s: the 991s always only came in grey.
I was elated to learn though that the company had again upgraded to 993s which includes a combination of foam and gel. I think they're lighter than 992s too and the feel on first putting on a pair of 993s is very similar to putting on a pair of 991s. They did keep the multiple color options of the 992 line so you can get these in black, grey, white.
Overall, I am extremely happy with this product.
Foremost on my loyalty is the commitment that the company has to local markets. The 993s are Made in the USA and in the back of each of these shoes you can see the prominent USA in bold against an American flag. They are a patriot's shoe and they are quite popular in the military. Unlike other shoe companies that use almost slave child labor to make shoes and then sell them at horrendous profits in America, New Balance provides good jobs in the US. Yes they make less profit and they endorse fewer athletes but we buyers are loyal because:
a) its a fantastic product
b) probably the best running shoe made (don't take my word, try one)
c) they're made in the USA
d) the company is committed to local markets and to producing quality running shoes
No I don't run many marathons anymore (but I have in the past) and I do love these shoes and once every couple of years when my old pair of 993s get relegated to the home repair shoe, I will go out and buy a shiny new pair of 993. It's always just a little bit special when I put on a new pair....
Btw, my closet has a lineup from the two pairs of decade old beaten up old 991s that still come out when I do gardening to the 992s that have been recently demoted with the purchase of my 993s: Yes I still own my 991s, the go through the washer now and again and they still work even after 10 to 15 years (amazing quality)....but they can't be seen in public anymore.
Anyhow, I hope this helps you make a decision on these shoes. It's hard to find a running shoe that has history and character like this line and I'll admit I'm a bit selfish here, the more popular 993s remain the less likelihood that they'll be discontinued before I die.

I have worn these 990s for many years now and this model just seems as good if not better than its predecessors. The only reason I buy new ones is frankly from natural wear. And I don't mean wear that is obvious like frays or the sole is coming off. I mean MINOR wear on the tread (starting to affect ankle/foot alignment) and slight stretching of shoes fabric/leather (don't get quite as good support). What's is amazing is these shoes are built so well, that by the time I need a new pair for specific reason these shoes still look and feel great. So great I wear them for comfort for daily chores. I swear 1 year on this shoe is like 3-4 months on your average high end, Nike Airs.
Simply put I have found the best shoe ever for me. If you know or think you need greater stability, I encourage you try them on at a local seller.
PS. My feet, my knees and even my hips LOVE these shoes :)
New Balance has been an American made running shoe that I've worn since they were available in Military Exchanges in the late 1980's/early 1990s. Being flat footed and pronating is not a good combination for a military career. My feet gave me problems with most running shoes I purchased until I found the New Balance 99x series. Can't remember how many pairs worn out over the years. Now retired the comfort these shoes brought make me a lifetime customer.
When an internet e-mail notice informed me of this model's introduction I was eager to buy a pair that proudly indicated my Army legacy. This model is sold out at Post Exchanges for a 3 month period June/Aug 2011 so I went elsewhere to purchase them.
They look sharp and do not disappoint the pronating runner keeping the New Balance Heritage for yet another generation of military runners. Still too new for me to know how well they wear over time I'm hoping my overall experience and those of others will keep New Balance American workers employed for many years to come.
I am a serious runner and by that I mean I may be running 35 to 40 plus miles a week on the tread..These shoes are really a trainer..If doing my weekly routine of 5 plus miles a day I will use the 993s due to their shock absorbtion...
But the reason this gets 4 stars instead of 5 is these are not a performance shoe...The big drawback here is weight...The shoes are heavier than most..So if you are looking at speed training or overall 5k, 10k best time this is not the shoe I wear..Would wear lighter more performance based shoe like the Asic GT 2030, 40, 50 line...But while training for that or daily running I use the 993s..Plus when you got to a lighter shoe for performance that is a plus..
And the other reason I rate 4 stars is durability..These shoes will last me about 300 miles and they are done..Once leg pain, shin splints return I usually buy a new pair..So roughly 300 miles or so and the in soles are shot..Personally I like the black the best also..The grey doesn't hold up very well cosmetic wise..
So good training shoe, good comfort..If they were slightly lighter and less cumbersome and more durable I would rate a 5...And they get kinda toasty as well..They are not real breathable mesh...
Well I am updating this review today based on the last pair I received..They did pretty poorly for me..Were on sale here for around 80 bucks..But they definitely didn't hold up as well as the ones from road runner....After about 200 miles in these my ankles started hurting so bad I had to use my Asic 2140 trail shoes instead..Within a week or so the pain and soreness is gone..So I don't know for sure but I might try one more pair of these..It just seems that the insoles don't hold up long at all...

No I don't run many marathons anymore (but I have in the past) and I do love these shoes and once every couple of years when my old pair of 993s get relegated to the home repair shoe, I will go out and buy a shiny new pair of 993. It's always just a little bit special when I put on a new pair....
Btw, my closet has a lineup from the two pairs of decade old beaten up old 991s that still come out when I do gardening to the 992s that have been recently demoted with the purchase of my 993s: Yes I still own my 991s, the go through the washer now and again and they still work even after 10 to 15 years (amazing quality)....but they can't be seen in public anymore.
Anyhow, I hope this helps you make a decision on these shoes. It's hard to find a running shoe that has history and character like this line and I'll admit I'm a bit selfish here, the more popular 993s remain the less likelihood that they'll be discontinued before I die.

First off these and all NB (I think) offer different width sizes so you can actually get the right fit. In addition the 992s (this model's predecessor) is designed for runners with a slight pronate which I have. Stability is what this shoe does and does super well for me. I didn't find that specification on NBs site for this shoe like the 992s, but it seems online sellers are still saying so, and I have no reason to believe my 993s have been changed either.As one seller described the shoe online:

I have worn these 990s for many years now and this model just seems as good if not better than its predecessors. The only reason I buy new ones is frankly from natural wear. And I don't mean wear that is obvious like frays or the sole is coming off. I mean MINOR wear on the tread (starting to affect ankle/foot alignment) and slight stretching of shoes fabric/leather (don't get quite as good support). What's is amazing is these shoes are built so well, that by the time I need a new pair for specific reason these shoes still look and feel great. So great I wear them for comfort for daily chores. I swear 1 year on this shoe is like 3-4 months on your average high end, Nike Airs.
Simply put I have found the best shoe ever for me. If you know or think you need greater stability, I encourage you try them on at a local seller.
PS. My feet, my knees and even my hips LOVE these shoes :)

When an internet e-mail notice informed me of this model's introduction I was eager to buy a pair that proudly indicated my Army legacy. This model is sold out at Post Exchanges for a 3 month period June/Aug 2011 so I went elsewhere to purchase them.
They look sharp and do not disappoint the pronating runner keeping the New Balance Heritage for yet another generation of military runners. Still too new for me to know how well they wear over time I'm hoping my overall experience and those of others will keep New Balance American workers employed for many years to come.

The New Balance 993 is one of the most comfortable shoes I have tried in several years of Running..I do all my running on the treadmill and only weigh 165 now..But it is murder on your legs if you have the wrong shoe...This shoe combines comfort and stability, plus it looks pretty good as a casual shoe just to wear out or if you are on your feet a lot...I am a serious runner and by that I mean I may be running 35 to 40 plus miles a week on the tread..These shoes are really a trainer..If doing my weekly routine of 5 plus miles a day I will use the 993s due to their shock absorbtion...
But the reason this gets 4 stars instead of 5 is these are not a performance shoe...The big drawback here is weight...The shoes are heavier than most..So if you are looking at speed training or overall 5k, 10k best time this is not the shoe I wear..Would wear lighter more performance based shoe like the Asic GT 2030, 40, 50 line...But while training for that or daily running I use the 993s..Plus when you got to a lighter shoe for performance that is a plus..
And the other reason I rate 4 stars is durability..These shoes will last me about 300 miles and they are done..Once leg pain, shin splints return I usually buy a new pair..So roughly 300 miles or so and the in soles are shot..Personally I like the black the best also..The grey doesn't hold up very well cosmetic wise..
So good training shoe, good comfort..If they were slightly lighter and less cumbersome and more durable I would rate a 5...And they get kinda toasty as well..They are not real breathable mesh...
Well I am updating this review today based on the last pair I received..They did pretty poorly for me..Were on sale here for around 80 bucks..But they definitely didn't hold up as well as the ones from road runner....After about 200 miles in these my ankles started hurting so bad I had to use my Asic 2140 trail shoes instead..Within a week or so the pain and soreness is gone..So I don't know for sure but I might try one more pair of these..It just seems that the insoles don't hold up long at all...
Skechers Kids 95672L-Go Run Ride Sneaker (Little Kid/Big Kid) Review
My son loves his new tennis shoes. He is VERY picky about the fit and feel of his shoes and he said they are very comforatable. The colors are bright and fun. He has received many compliments on them too. I do hope skechers comes out with the "Walk" tennis shoe for kids, He tried on my walk 2 tennis shoes and he loved the flexible/bendable heel on them, it is easier for him to get them on and off.
I own a pair of Skechers Go Run for myself, and I love how lightweight the shoes are. They fit like a glove right away, there is no "breaking in" time.

My 6 yr old son is obsessed with the color orange, so these shoes were perfect for him! I ordered a little big, hoping that they would last the entire school year, but we'll see. The laces are also long enough for him to tie his own shoes (he's still learning) so I'm glad for that little bonus.I own a pair of Skechers Go Run for myself, and I love how lightweight the shoes are. My son choose these and he loves them!!! He says he especially loves that they are so light. The four vs fives stars indicates that I am skeptical. Review of Vibram FiveFingers TrekSport Sandal - Men's
My 3rd pair and I love them.Good for the warmer temperatures in making and material, as the feet does not sweat as easily as in other FiveFingers, like the Bikila LS I have.
I use the Treksport Sandal for light hikes and any kind of everyday outdoor use in summer. Close to barefoot feeling with the right protection for the feet. If you are not used to this kind of shoes, it will take some time for yourself and your feet to adjust. It is worth doing so. After a knee injury (from running in "normal" running shoes) and the advise from the MDs to walk and run more barefoot, I find, after 2yrs of doing so, this is a great way to go. No knee or back problems ever since... amazing!

The treads are solid for running on grass and dirt, although I would caution against using these as "off-road" shoes and getting into too much muck because the vents let in small gravel and dirt (this is my only complaint, but has really only affected me one or two times). Overall I highly recommend them.

Second pair of fivefingers, first pair was the KSO which I have had for about three years now. The new treksport sandal has big shoes to fill in durability in comparison to the KSO. So far they are great though, really comfortable and light. They fit to the foot better than the KSO because of the lacing system rather than the strap. I have enjoyed other five-fingers over the past few years (KSO, Speed), but I was looking for a summer shoe that I could easily put on and take off for everyday use.
