These shoes are great I got them but the front tore off. But I recommend these for parkour. Because there great for it!I'm loving my new sneakers. I'm lucky to be able to wear children's size. I've received lots of compliments on just 2 times of wearing them. Yay / oh, super fast shipping too!

Reviews of ASICS Men's Spivey LD Running Shoe
I bought these spikes to replace my old Adidas adiStar MD 05 spikes. First off, these spikes are incredibly light, especially compared to my old adiStars. The asics website says these weigh 5 ounces a piece, but they feel much lighter on the feet. If you use these spikes in competition, you will definitely get a mental boost from them. Secondly, I bought the green/yellow variant, and they are just as vibrant as the display image. Since I wanted a bright pair of spikes, I was happy to find this to be true. Thirdly, the spikes come with a cross country claw that can be used to turn them into cross country spikes. The claw is a yellow plastic star that fits into the bottom of the shoe, with special golden spikes to be inserted into the plastic claw. However, I would not recommend them to be used in this fashion since I don't think the hard plastic on the bottom of the shoe won't hold up very well under cross country conditions. Racing flats should be racing flats and track spikes should be track spikes, but that's just my opinion. These shoes come with the slightly shorter than usual 3/16" pyramid spike as opposed to the 1/4", so be conscious of this fact when buying them.
These are rated for the 3,200 m through 10,000 m, but these should work well for distances down to the 1,500 m. However, the material around the toe box is quite thin so take this under advisement. Once I run a timed mile in these I'll edit my review as to if I've changed my thoughts.
EDIT (3/4/13):
I finally got around to running a timed mile in these and they felt great. Once you put them on and start running, they feel like they disappear on your foot. While running in these, I PR'ed by 10 seconds even though I haven't really increased the intensity or length of my runs. In my opinion, these spikes are a good choice for down to the 1,500 m. Below that though, you'll want to get a middle distance spike for the tougher construction. Even though I'm pretty in shape right now, the day after the timed mile I could feel it in my ankles and my calves. I think this is mostly due to me changing my stride and converting to be a forefoot striker, but the shoes may also have contributed since they are so light because they don't have a lot of cushioning. I recommend doing some barefoot running on the grass or infield in order to get your legs used to the extra forces it will endure without cushioning from regular running shoes.
A word of advice: Make sure you clip your toe nails when you get to run in these. The toe box material isn't that frail, but I'd err on the side of caution. After all, it wouldn't be fun to buy a new set of spikes and then tear the toe box with your toe nails.
Equally important, after three hard workouts, I have no spike-related injuries. Usually, my feet and ankles get nagging little injuries when I switch over to spikes, but that has not been the case with the Spivey LD.
Another reviewer mentioned that the spikes themselves are slightly shorter -3/16 instead of 1/4 inch. I ran tonight in the rain on a wet track. In my warm up racing flats, I could feel my shoes slipping a lot with every step. In the Spivey LD, I noticed no slipping at all in spite of the fact that puddles were forming on the track. I'm happy with the shorter spikes. The fit is true to size.

This is an outstanding spike. It snugs up nicely on the foot without feeling tight or cramped in the toe box or mid foot. I tried on every spike in the store before settling on the Asics Spivey LD. On the track, it's the most comfortable spike I've ever worn. With other spikes, there is a very noticeable "spike" feel. That wasn't the case with the Spivey LD. After the first few steps, I forgot that I was wearing spikes and I could concentrate on the workout. Even though it's a long distance spike, I plan to use them for the 800m and 1500m. My old spikes were one of the top-of-the-line Nike models. The Spivey LD fits better and feels like it transfers more power to the track than the Nike. I have several racing flats and a couple of spikes in this weight range, but none have the feeling of power transfer that I get wearing these spikes.Equally important, after three hard workouts, I have no spike-related injuries. Adidas CF232 Men's Terrex Fast X Mid GTX Boot Reviews
Maybe after trying this style on in the store I ordered a half-size bigger, but these are very comfortable
hiking boots! I mostly used them this winter for getting around in the snow. They're waterproof so my
feet stayed dry and warm. I like the styling and the neat lace up mechanism. No laces dragging around
to get muddy or wet!
At that point I wrote to adidas customer service and explained the trouble I was having. I pointed out that, as I was hundreds of miles from home in the middle of an 800 mile trek I would be in huge trouble if these boots gave out. The useless response from adidas advised me to try to return the bots to the original retailer (Amazon) and said if I had trouble there adidas would provide an RMA for a return and credit. The clerk obviously never read the pertinent information in my email.
At any rate, a few days later when I arrived in Soledad and removed my boots one of the laces snapped. Since this is a closed-loop fast-lace system, replacement is impossible. I just had time to go online to Amazon and order a new pair of New Balance Dunham boots for next-day delivery to Greenfield, my next stop. I cut off the shredded portion of the broken lace, backed it off a couple of eyelets and tied an old-fashioned knot, which surprised me by holding out for the 14 mile walk. Before leaving Greenfield for King City I mailed the adidas boots home so that I could deal with returning them to Amazon/adidas when I returned home in another month plus. To Amazon's credit when I contacted Customer Service they waived the usual return period and accepted my return for a full refund.
I do have to give the adidas Terrex credit for holding up well other than the lacing system. The soles and uppers look like new and they were fairly comfortable, although they did pinch my little pinkies badly enough to turn both toenails black. I must say the Dunham by New Balance Men's MCR6630G Cloud Mid Cut Boot surpassed the adidas Terrex in comfort, having a much wider toe box that no longer tortured my little toes. I did have to go back to actually lacing and tying my boots again, but I finished the remaining 500+ miles without further boot-related incident.
So, if you want a comfortable, GoreTex lined, lightweight boot and don't mind a narrow toe box, you could do a lot worse than these adidas so long as you get the ones with normal laces.

I bought these (adidas Terrex Fast X Mid GTX) in January for a planned 800 mile hike of the El Camino Real in California. I was skeptical of the fast-lace system but adidas has always done well by me so I trusted them. After wearing the bots on local hikes for four months I set off on my big journey in May. By the time I had walked from Sonoma to Salinas there was trouble with the laces not releasing from the little "dongles" that clamp them. A few times I thought I would have to cut the laces to get the boots off but with a great deal of effort they eventually came free.At that point I wrote to adidas customer service and explained the trouble I was having. Excellent transition for a beginner level runner towards minimal shoe running. I am 1.81m and 87kgs, so it suited my transition away from heel strike running. Average runs about 5km per trip at 26mins. However I do find that the groves on the sole do seem to leaves the durability in question. I have used the shoe for almost 6mths now. Still doing fine but I'm not expecting it to last past 1.5 years.

This is our second pair of Tsukihoshi shoes for our son. He has large feet, including wide and thick. When he was a year old, he did well with Stride Rite. We've tried a few different brands that offer larger widths, but here's why we are sticking with Tsukihoshi for now.
1) The way the side of the shoe adjusts as you clasp the velcro acts like a custom fit around the middle of the foot, like a ski boot. We tried some cool looking, extra wide Puma's between his first and second pair of Tsukihoshi's. After his first day in the Puma's, he wasn't near as active and there were marks on the tops of his feet where they were too tight. Thankfully, Nordstom's was really cool about returning them and we bought his second pair of Tsukihoshi's. Our son was back to jumping and running around like his normal self the very next day.
2) The shoes have support and cushion in line with the advice given to me by my orthopedic surgeon. I was really impressed that a toddler shoe met those criteria. For example, support: turning the shoe perpendicular to the ground and push on the heel; the shoe should flex about a third of the way from the front, but not bend easily in the middle.
3) The width accommodates wide feet.
4) We've been very happy with the quality. They seemed to be of good quality in the store and have held up great ever since. He'd still be wearing the first pair of Tsukihoshi's had he not outgrown them. He's had the current ones for five months without any problems.
5) They are very easy to put on, even our 2 year old puts them on by himself without any problem. Markedly different from our experience with other shoes where you have to cram until ther's a slip and then tie or velcro. Again, the clasping mechanism is very slick. And, they fit snug and secure.
I'm glad Amazon is now offering these shoes. I'll be putting in an order for the next size up soon.

This is my daughter's 4th or 5th pair of Tsukihoshi's (I'm afraid I lost track!) and I am just as happy with these as I have been with every other pair. They are comfortable for my kids, they fit well and they LAST. We are yet to wear out a pair even though my kids are hard on their shoes. They wash amazingly well (just throw them in the washer...and I have dried them in a pinch even though the instructions say not to) and don't wear out. These are fabulous and since Amazon was offering free return shipping I wasn't concerned about trying to make sure I ordered the right size. Bought these last weekend from a Nike outlet. Fairly lightweight for a running shoe, and very comfortable to wear. My guess would be that the red/orange will not stay clean long since I normally do my running on an unpaved trail. Even if you are not going to run in them they seem to be great shoes to wear around on a normal basis. Overall, I'm satisfied with these so far.

Great Shoe. Nice and light. Comfortable as soon as you put them on. I'll probably buy another pair when these wear out.
Unsurprisingly, not nearly as flexible as the Kanadia, but comfortable and flexible enough, and they feel about as light. Not nearly as breathable I might not want to run in these in the summer but still very breathable for having so much leather on the upper, plus it sheds water (billed as waterproof, and I believe it based on 3 weeks' spring wear plus my previous experience with waterproof mesh Columbias).
Finally, the reason I got these: they look and feel like they'll last 2 or 3 times as long. My miserliness won't abide my replacing shoes every couple of years. So trading a shoe that I hardly felt on my foot for one will take weeks of breaking in to nearly reach that point looks to be a good trade for my purposes. I might add a star if they last as well as my previous Columbias (check back in 8 years).
The fit is as expected after I loosened the laces completely and reined them in minimally.

I'm experimenting with mid-foot strike running, and this shoe's 5mm heel-to-toe sole drop works for that but probably wouldn't be advisable for heavy heel-strikers. these shoes are great. they feel so good i feel like taking a run in the woods. I can't though because i am trying to heal my foot from a heal problem. These shoes are the best I have used to relieve the pain and i believe help to correct the problem. They also look great and go with any color pants. They are also well made and are very light.
Review of pediped Flex Gehrig Shoe (Toddler/Little Kid)
My son's first pair of sneakers was a pediped and since then he refuses to wear anything else, his common complaint being, "it's too hard". He loves these and prefers them over his sandals even though he has to wear socks with them. I tried to introduce him to Keen Newport H2s, which is sort of a sandal/shoe crossover but he didn't like them, mainly because they don't have enough vertical space to accommodate his chunky feet and are not very easy for him to put on. These pedipeds don't have any elastic bands or structural elements restricting the vertical fit/volume such as those found on some stride rite shoes. This allows the fit to be highly adjustable using just the two velcro straps. These are on the pricey side compared to other shoes in this category, but if they hold up to the daily abuse being doled out to them, I'll buy them again.

I bought these shoe's in a 6.5 for my tiny tot. Shoe is really cute and well made. He is going to get good use out if these. Also, love that the shoes come with inserts for longer wear and comfort. I always by my kids shoes a size too big and the inserts make it so that the shoes fit more snug while adding comfort. You just take them out as your child's feet grow. Great shoe!
Reviews of AVIA Men's A5821M Running Shoe
I bought these shoes this past spring when I needed to get a new pair of trail running shoes ASAP, and based on prior Amazon reviews, they seemed like the best value for the price paid. As other reviewers have noted, these shoes can definitely feel a bit snug. Particularly because I have wide feet, I was worried that these shoes would cause some major foot chafing, but fortunately they turned out to be fairly easy to break into. Overall, I would recommend these shoes, though, if I run into any problems, I'll be sure to post an edit to this review. :-)

While certainly not bad at all, with heavy and/or extensive use, you will start to feel why these shoes are cheaper than other, more expensive models. After using these shoes for an adventure race -mud pits and all -I could feel the "flimsier" (and lighter) shoe material breaking down faster than other trail running shoes I had previously worn. On the flip side, having such lightweight shoes may actually be an attractive trait for some people. Regardless, I still feel that for the price of the product, these shoes hold their own under moderate wear and tear.

They were ordered for my son. They look very nice but this particular AVIA seems to run small. I love shoes and have tons of them. I work two jobs and both requires a lot of walking total of 13 hours daily tried almost all the shoes i had and just couldn't find the right ones that wouldn't hurt my feet simply because they are not meant for walking for that much of hours so i was on Amazon looking at walking/running shoes and saw some name brands ones such as Adidas, Nike and so on which has some good reviews on them but then i saw this AVIA A5821M shoe with just only 2 reviews with a very decent price so i decided to give it a shot as it doesn't hurt to try ( sometimes). I got them within a week of the purchase date, tried them on and totally fell in love with them... They fit right and very very comfortable to the extend that i went from suffering and smiling to happily ending!... FOR THE PRICE AND HOW COMFY THEY ARE, YOU WILL LOVE 'EM!
