I purchased these shoes for my son's first year of Kindergarten. He is super active and can really put any type of shoe to the test. These shoes are showing no signs of wear and tear even after 3 months of having/wearing them. So that speaks a lot. These are made from a good quality material and one thing that I like is that they are very comfortable on his feel. Even though these are not classified as "Wide" shoes, they definitely have more than enough room on the sides so that your feet aren't too snug.

The Z-strap is awesome! He can get his shoes off and on in a jif. The velcro from the strap doesn't appear to be showing any signs of excessive use.

All in all I would highly recommend these to anyone. I have a feeling that Santa will probably be bringing him a few more pairs of these in different styles for Christmas. ;)
