I've had foot surgery for plantar fasciitis! I have these shoes in almost every color! I wear them daily the white ones to work (I'm a nurse). I am on my feet for 12 hour shifts they are very comfortable and you don't have to worry about your shoe laces coming un-tied! They are machine washable also not many shoes can be thrown into the washer! I have them in blue suede and in black suede to wear with jeans and other casual clothing! I hope they never stop making these shoes!

I bought these shoes to wear at the barn because they are called wash and wear and because my foot problems won't let me wear any of the very fashionable Ariat boots. These shoes are definitely more than wash and wear! One week after I got them I bathed my horse and while the outer shoe got wet, my socks stayed dry and the collar around the shoe prevented water from entering from the top. They dried on my feet and the leather still looks great. They are comfortable, but the toe box is not as roomy or tall as the Propet Walkers that I also bought. However, with a little adjustment these shoes are comfortable, useful, economical, and allow me to be active on my feet for several hours without pain.

By far these are the best shoes for my arthritic knee. the pain is all but vanished when I wear these shoes. If I put on other shoes I am achy by the end of the day again.

This is my second pear of Propet walking shoes. They are extremely comfortable and fit great. The mushroom color is really very attractive. I wear a wide shoe (normally a D width) and these are absolutely true in fit (at least for me). They are comfortable and sturdy enough to wear to the gym and I keep them on all day. I have plantar fascitis and need to wear orthotics. The insole of these shoes is removable so that I can wear my orthotics comfortably.

I have not yet tried to clean these shoes yet, but it is suggested by the manufacturer that they should be cleaned with a damp cloth. I have another wash and wear pair in white that I have put in the washing machine and they look like new.

Amazon has the best price that I have found so far and with free shipping offers, you cannot go wrong

Let me start by saying that I am a loyal wearer of ASICS Gel Cumulus shoes. I buy a new pair every time the new model is introduced, as each pair lasts me about a year, and this is probably my 9th pair of Gel Cumulus shoes. This 14 model initially felt very tight and uncomfortable across the toe box. After considerable loosening of the laces (they were pre-laced when I received them) and wearing them around the house for a couple days to break them in, they felt great and very cushiony. I've never had to "break in" these Cumulus shoes before, and I'm not sure why I had to this time. Perhaps they are being constructed with less fabric across the toes? Regardless, they are very comfortable now and I'm glad I purchased them. With this pair I chose the bold color route the "storm" color is a very dark gray, and the "brilliant blue" is a bright royal blue, while the laces are white. They are about as far from a generic white pair of shoes as you can get! They look great with black exercise pants or dark jeans. As always, this pair of Cumulus shoes has a snug fit around the heel, so they feel very secure when you're moving. The sizing (in length, at least) feels true to previous models.

This is my fourth pair of Asics Cumulus Running Shoes. I've always LOVED the fit and comfort of this shoe and so when it came time to purchase a new pair I felt totally comfortable purchasing online....no need to try them on because I know I'm going to love them. Mistake! They changed the entire shoe. Lower profile, much tighter fit and gone is the springy comfy bounce that I felt in my previous Cumulus shoes. They might be okay with an added insert but that's really not an option without going up a size (or two considering how small this shoe runs). I will still wear these for short walks but will look for a new favorite to run in :(

I have worn Cumulus for years and loved them and they have been kind to me...five marathons and all that training. The new lower heel has caused strain on my lower leg muscles which irritates my heel. They are not as wide as they used to be, so after about six miles, my feet feel cramped. I hate to say it but after all these years, I might have to look for a new shoe. Too bad; I loved my Cumulus! I never had to take them off after a run. I've actually tried to find some Cumulus 11s.I can't find my size!

I love this shoe! The colors are bright and the shoe is very comfortable. I usually wear an 8 1/2, but I order a size up when I purchase running shoes. I purchased these in a 9 and they give me enough room for when I run. This is the first pair of ASICS that I have bought (after much research) and I am very satisfied and happy! As a prior Brooks Adrenaline user (only other running shoes I have ever used), I can say that I have not noticed a difference in the stability and support or the comfort. I can no longer afford to buy Brooks (over $100), so this was a good financial switch as well. After having them for two weeks, I was able to run a 5K without any problems. I am extremely happy with these shoes and I have a feeling that they will become my permanent brand!!

I have worn the cumulus for years and have loved them! I recently purchased the 14's online and threw out all the paperwork and box before actually running in them. What a mistake. They feel terrible! I have never had foot and leg pain when running in any brand shoe before, but I had both with these. It feels like I am running barefoot! I bought another pair from Sports Authority, thinking I just got a pair from a bad batch, and I got them yesterday. I will put them on the treadmill and try them out to see if it is the model or the pair from Amazon. I am very disappointed in the pair I got off of Amazon for sure and am hoping the ones from Sports Authority are better. If not, I will return them and change brands too. :(

They protect my feet. They are light weight and somewhat comfortable but not for a long period of time. I find wearing them for any length of time; I just want to remove them. They are find for short periods, but I would not be able to wear them all day, every day. But that is me.

These were bought for my husband. He says that they're okay, are flexible and light, but don't offer a lot of internal cushioning. The removable insert that's provided is pretty thin and provides little cushioning. He's going to buy some athletic inserts to correct this problem. We got them when they were listed at $28, so buying his own insert will be an acceptable trade-off. The mesh construction allows for a good amount of airflow. As with all Avia shoes, he has to order a size up because this brand of shoes seems to run short and slightly narrow. Avia doesn't seem to offer wide-width shoes in the styles that he really wants, or maybe we just haven't run across them. He normally wears a 12, but needs a 13 with Avia. He'll see how the shoe holds up overtime and provide an update.

Buy ASICS Men's GEL-Speedstar 6 Running Shoe

I shopped around a bit before deciding to go for this. As with all ASICS, get a shoe that's half a size bigger than what you typically use. I am usually a size 9 in Nike shoes and I went for 9.5 in this. At first use, you will notice that this shoe is very lightweight, it fits perfectly to your foot, and it is very comfortable to walk around. I immediately tested it outdoors for a 5K run on the road and I have to admit, I was very impressed. It felt very comfortable, the impact was sturdy and it was easy to modify my running gait as the shoe fits like a glove. Just remember that the shoelaces tend to run a little short on this so I had to leave the last hole empty and double-tie the shoelace so it doesn't come off during a run or a workout.

I also used this shoe in a TRX / boot camp class and it did really well with jumping activities as well as sudden motions like skips, hops and twisting. It's a perfect pair for either running or working out. I also did get compliments from the design!

On a related note, I am on my feet at least 8 hours a day (I work as a Physical Therapist) and I use this shoe as well (I rotate it with 3 other shoes to avoid overusing the shoe). I swear I could wear this at work and in the gym and just for lounging in the house (although it may not smell so well after!) Just a good choice if you're looking for an all-around shoe that's lightweight and will not be as flimsy as a Nike Free Run or as Hard/Stable as an Asics Kayano. I've never been happier with the balance of this shoe. I highly recommend it. Just remember that this is more of a Neutral Shoe. If you need more support on your medial arch, I recommend getting the Green Superfeet insoles to replace the current one (http://www.amazon.com/Superfeet-Green-Premium-Insoles-Womens/dp/B0033BPBD4/ref=sr_1_1?s=shoes&ie=UTF8&qid=1366180820&sr=1-1&keywords=superfeet+green).

These shoes are top notch. Both in looks and function. They are very comfortable and extremely light and breathable, offer excellent support for athletic activities, and they also look great (in my opinion, FWIW :) I have worn just about every brand of running shoes, for sports only, not casual wear, and my next pair will definitely be from Asics again. My son saw the video for these and just HAD to have them for his summer shoes this year. I was skeptical of something that claimed to change colors in the sun, etc. Usually when a product claims that it doesn't work the way you anticipate and it's a big disappointment. But I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived. The first thing my son did when I gave them to him to try on was carry them outside in the sun to see them change colors and they did! He loves to show people how his shoes change color. They are a little on the pricey side for a kid's sandal, but they are Crocs after all and they tend to have a slightly higher price tag to begin with. As an FYI, they are a rather wide shoe on the footbed. So if you have a child with a narrow foot, they will have plenty of room in these. But my son says they are very comfy and he just loves them!

Discount Saucony Women's Hurricane 15 Running Shoe

PRO's: wide toe box, no blisters, stable shoe, well constructed, support high arches, cute.

CONS's: reduced 8mm heel to toe drop, terrible thin laces, sand and dirt get in through the mesh, shoes causes me calf pain.

I have either ran in Saucony's or Mizuno's pretty much my whole running life through marathons and ironman races. When I progressed to a neutral running shoe, I went to lightweight Mizuno's, which I love, but they wear out very quickly. I was replacing them ever 3 months or so.

Fast forward 2 years, where life has got in the way, my running stopped and "a little" weight was gained. Well I can't imagine how many shoes I would go through being overweight in a pair of Mizuno's...plus I figured I was "starting over" with running. So hence, the reason for my purchase of these stability plus shoes.

The very first thing I noticed after I slipped them on was the lack of a "heel". Yes, Saucony in their redesign has eliminated the 12mm drop from all running shoes (as far as I can tell). These have a 8 mm drop which Saucony claims "you shouldn't notice". Well I do notice! So after major calf pain working into shin pain I purchased a pair of heel cups. Heel cups did lesson the pain somewhat.

Now I've been running in these shoes for 6 weeks (averaging 15-20 miles a week with my longest runs of 7-8 miles) and frankly I'm frustrated with them. I feel that I can never get a bounce in my step and my runs feel very flat like I'm trudging through mud. While I was at the mall today, I happened to see a pair a Mizuno's in my size on clearance so I quickly slipped them on. Wow, what a difference! I guess I'm going to just learn to replace my shoes often and hopefully loose more weight to make my shoes last longer. I will still wear these shoes for slooowww walking (BTW they hurt even for walking fast). On a positive note: the shoes are supportive for high arches and I feel that it keeps my foot from pronating and unfortunately, they seem like they will last forever.

I'm bummed because they are really jazzy looking and fun.

Note: I was running "injury free" on old shoes for 6 weeks before I finally got new shoes. Calf pain started on day 1 of new shoes on a 2.5 mile run and it has never let up.

I hope taking the time to write this review will help assist someone in their quest for the perfect shoes...well at least until they change them on you with the next design.

I've been using the Saucony Hurricanes for over ten years now. I have many other models of Sauconys, but the Hurricane stands out as the one with the ultimate cushioning and comfort.

I remember when the Hurricane was the top of the line, back when it was almost unheard of to pay $110 for a pair of running shoes, with most of the Saucony models in the $60 to $75 range. And I paid it, gladly. No shoe comes close to the delicious feel of the cushioning these have, and that's what I'm after. I want my knees to hold up under the pounding for a long time to come, and I feel these do a fantastic job of absorbing the shocks of running.

A while back, Saucony did a major revamping of their fit, making the toe boxes of all models much flatter and narrower. Now I have had to move up to a wide in this to get the amount of room my toes need. But my heel is narrow. I can adjust the fit of these so that they stay on and support my foot on the sides well by adjusting the laces to perfection, even though they are on the wide side for my foot as it narrows down toward my heels.

These are rated as neutral as far as support, and I have a neutral foot strike, so these are perfect for me. They have some bendability in the toe area but not too much. There is lots of high tech engineering in these and I can feel it. They feel springy, and yet stable.

Of all the athletic shoes out there, and I've tried probably every brand there is, the Saucony understands my ping pong paddle shaped feet. The Hurricane, as well as the Triumph models, have retained the large toebox the most, so I alternate between those two models. I prefer this one however.

I replace my running shoes every six months or so, whenever the cushioning starts to flatten down. I also use orthotics in these which helps to preserve the cushioning in the shoe somewhat. The orthotics can be changed more often than the shoes. I go to a special store that only sells shoe orthotics and they let me try on everything and walk around in them to find the best ones for me. The good kind aren't cheap but it's cheaper than two knee replacements.

Now for those color combos---I have the silver and green. It will be a cold day in Florida before I would choose some of the others, although I do like the other colors. I have big feet, and the pink ones in particular, while pretty, make me look like I'm wearing clown shoes.

Thank you Saucony, for making the only brand of athletic shoe this bigfoot can wear in comfort.

I do not need my custom orthotics in them although I do have a pair of DrScholl's Custom Fit orthotic inserts. I'm not sure I need them in this shoe, but didn't want to risk it. They work great for me!

Although I enjoy these casual heels, please know the color shown on the site is misleading. The color in the picture appears to be a tan color. However, the color you get in person is a somewhat two-toned brown and then grey outlined effect. (See my photo above.) I guess Steve Madden covers their bases by using a vague description as "taupe" (a dark brown/tan-ish grey color) and "multi". Unfortunately, when you are shopping online you only have pictures to rely on for reference. I am a Steve Madden fan till the end, but I am sincerely disappointed in the inaccuracy of whoever edited this photo.

On a lighter note, these are the perfect heels for women who typically don't like heels. The hidden wedge is comfortable and well supported. Because your foot is lifted, it makes your legs appear leaner and lengthened. And they look good with a pair of skinny jeans, as well as shorts. Oh and for those that may have wide feet or hammer toes, (I have both!) these shoes will still fit! My favorite aspect about them is how I feel. I can go from day to night and not feel frumpy at the bar for happy hour after a long day of work.

These shoes are really awesome, because they have a fit around your ankle that supports it without you having to tie the laces really tight.(the laces are more for fashion purposes) The only thing I thought I would either have to get used to or change, was that the insole was a little hard. This made it a little uncomfortable to stand straight in for a long while, but it will probably go away as you get used to the shoe. Overall this is a really cute shoe with (what I thought was) 5/6 comfortableness. Hope you enjoy!

I have been buying this shoe for years! I go through about 3 pairs a year and everytime I need a new pair they fit perfectly without the need for a break in period!

I run about 40 70 miles a week with most runs being about 10 miles. No problems and a very small number of blisters!

I have to admit I use these shoes for running on a road. I havent run off road in a long time but it doesnt matter this shoe works great for both uses.

The only down side for me are the colors. They started adding the lime green highlight this year and honestly I dont care for it. But color doesnt matter too much if the shoe is comfortable for long distance running.

While I regularly train on trails and have been running for over 30 years, I did my first really technical trail race this summer. While I have had no trouble racing cross country using my racing shoes, this trail was another story. After reading up on trail shoes, I bought a pair of these and tested them out in the next trail races (after running in them a few times, of course).

While I used to think the trail shoe was a gimmick to get runners to buy yet another pair of shoes, I found that these were well worth it for trail racing. First, the tread grips mud, sand, grass and wet rock really well. Since I had raced one of the trail runs before in my conventional racers, I could get a good comparison of the grip-these shoes make a noticeable difference.Interestingly, they slide very easily on smooth surfaces, such as my tiled kitchen floor-so it is a good idea to watch your step. It would be rather ironic (and painful) to tear up the trails only to fall in your kitchen while reaching for the Gatorade.

Second, they seem sturdy and are relatively lightweight. I use them for trail racing, so that is a plus. When not racing, I just wear my trainers-even on trails.

Third, they handle water quite well. The first race I wore these, we had to run through a flooded area. The shoes drained quickly and were surprisingly light after being soaked. Since many trail races feature water, this is a nice feature.

Like many running shoes, the claimed size is off. They are about a half size larger than the stated size. I still do not get why sizing cannot be correct, but most runners are familiar with that weirdness.

Overall, I really love this shoes-they are what I wear for trail and cross country racing now.

My grandson wears a "wide" shoe and has worn previous Sperry products in wide with no problem. These shoes, however, are still too narrow even when ordering the wide size.

Such cute shoes! Bought them to go with an Easter outfit or my 4 year old. He loves the laces since his other shoes don't have laces and he loves trying to tie them. Very well made shoes and he says very comfy.

These look like big boy shoes. When my son(2yrs old) saw these he was anxious to put them on and when he did I fell deeper in love with him and the shoes;-)..They are adorable on his feet.
