These are the best workout shoes I've ever owned. I've had knee and joint issues, so regular exercise is imperative. I walk/jog on the treadmill six days a week. Review of Salomon Women's Rx Snowmoc Ltr Relaxing Recovery Shoe
I have been looking for a previous season's snow clogs from Salomon for about a year now. Unfortunately those are no longer available. I have tried every other brand name slip on water resistant shoe in various sports stores, but none of them were ever as comfortable as the Salomons I had. I finally found these online and ordered them right away. They are a much lower profile than the previous clogs (the sides don't come as high). The shoe actually ends below my ankle. They took me about a day to get used to, but now I am back to order my second pair to wear around the house instead of my slippers. They give excellent support and allowed me to stay on my sprained foot all day for work. I personally think they are a little unattractive, but to my surprise, I have gotten several compliments on them since I got them a few weeks ago. I wish I could give a fair reporting of the size, but I tend to wear a range of sizes between 6.5 and 7.5. I ordered these in 7 which fit me perfectly.
This particular shoe is no exception. The length and width of the shoe is a good fit. The toe box is a little narrower than other styles of Salomons that I have owned, but not annoyingly so and there is a little give to the shoe so that this tightness improved after wearing them for just a couple of hours. There is a gray wooly fleece lining in the back of the shoe that goes through to the mid-arch, then the lining changes to what feels like a fleece lining like the type that would line a winter jacket. The sole has some traction that looks like it would handle moderately slick snow and ice, and is slightly wider than the heal of the shoe to give more stability.
I think this is a shoe that will keep my feet happy for quite a long time to come!
In all my Salomon items I wear womens us 8 or uk 40. With these I actually ordered an 8.5 being that they were for relaxing. I was pretty disappointed to find that these were too tight. I have done my best to still break them in, it has gotten better, but really not what I expected from Salomon.

After and extensive look at the offerings for what I wanted: an all day work shoe, I settled on these. Ordered a half size larger, and was delighted that with a fairly thin Smart Sock, they fit perfectly. I was really excited about this shoe as I prefer to wear a winter shoe rather than a boot. I'm in and out all day long and love to just slip my shoes on and off. For years I've been wearing winter "Mocs" from other manufacturers, but the treds wear out too soon in my opinion; need to buy a new pair every year. This shoe looked like it would last longer and be great on ice/snow. Unfortunately, I found the style to be cut too low (lower than it seemed to me in the photo). While this does make the shoe easy to get on and off, I'm concerned that on a really snowy day I'll have snow IN the shoe or wet socks at the top of my foot. I wish that portion of the shoe would be just a bit higher, then I would have given these a five star rating and kept them! The first pair of Salomon shoes I ever owned were a previous version of Snowmocs that I bought in 2004. Since then I have purchased about 15 pairs in various styles of walking and trail running shoes, as well as hiking boots. I would like to imagine myself as an avid outdoor adventurer, but the truth is most of the time my Salomon shoes just see the light of urban jungles. Still, these shoes provide support and comfort that I have not found in any other brand of shoes. I do also notice an improved fit in the women's styles than when I have tried men's styles of Salomon or other brands. I have wide feet for a woman, which is why I tried men's sizes in the past. Salomon's womens shoes provide a truer fit for me than even wide women sizes that I have tried in the past.This particular shoe is no exception. The length and width of the shoe is a good fit. I had knee, shin, lower back issues, and hated to run several years back. I didn't know you needed to change your running shoes more frequent than I had been accustomed to being in the military (no one tells you these things, they just want you to run 2 miles as fast as you can). I also didn't know about getting fitted for shoes. I went to a running shoe specialist store in Austin, TX. they recommended the Fortitude as I am something of a "Clydesdale". I love running ever since. All those pains were gone almost immediately and the shoe was perfect for me. I've since experimented with several other shoes, Asics 2150s, Asics Kayanos, Saucony Omni 8 and 9. This was first time ordering the Fortitudes in several years, I thought I'd try them again. And Yes, they are still the best feeling for my feet. I now run upwards of 20 miles for long runs, and these are by far more comfortable on these longs runs than my current shoes Saucony Omni 9 (nothing wrong with these, just not as much spring or noticeable stability). Upper mesh are light and not as binding as the 2150s. From what I remembered about the Kayano, the midsole striking was harsh and tended to make my foot drag not making my stride efficient. this is just me though.

Great Shoe for heavier and large footed individuals. My husband is over 6" and well over 200 lbs. and he has tried running shoes ranging from $75 to $200 per pair. I have been wearing ASICS products since the late 70's (yes, I'm an old guy)and have never been disappointed. While I am no longer running, I do walk a lot. I purchased these shoes to replace a pair of ASICS which is finally starting to wear out. As usual, these were very comfortable right out of the box and provide good cushioning and heel stability. They make me feel as though I am walking on air and they look good too. My wife recently purchased a pair of ASICS and swears by them as well. I ordered these because I didn't like all the bright colors they are putting on the shoes on the market and these seemed a little less LOUD. My boys just received their youth size 1 and size 4 Saucony Kinvara 2 shoes. They like the way they look and feel, but my older son has found many manufacturing defects with his size 4 pair (red/grey).
1) The inside/outside of the shoes appears to be reversed. The right shoe has the raised decal on the inside (left), not the outside. Big mistake.
2) The red paint is on the black trim (both shoes).
I'll post some pics. I contacted Saucony directly with pictures, and was really disappointed in the response. I wanted to let them know about the manufacturing problem, so they could fix the problem at the source. I also requested a replacement pair. They replied generically with a return form, expecting me to pay to return them. No thanks!

I actually have not had a chance to wear these for a long period of time, but so far so good. I have Essential Tremors and on top of that Fibromyalgia. I needed a light weight shoe that still would be comfortable, stylish and go with all of my purple in my wardrobe. These fit the bill nicely. They are cool which help keep my feet warm enough but allow air so they so start swelling due to the Fibro, it really is a pain to have.
